    Barbells vs Dumbbells

    I, too, have an EZ curl bar. I looked at the Troy Bar system and am seriously considering purchasing it. In the meantime, what I do for squats is use a barbell pad. It provides cushion and keeps the bar from digging into my back.

    Someone please tell me......

    I'm up at 4:45 a.m. for morning workouts. I tried the evening thing, but too many evening responsibilities. I like the quiet time in the morning and the opportunity to focus on "me". My day goes so much better when my workout is done before I walk out the door. ;)

    mma boxing,low impact?

    I often do MMA: Boxing with just the boxing cardio and upper body blitzes. I agree with Gibbee, it is still a great workout! You can always repeat one or more of the boxing segments for a longer workout.
