    Suthunuhs! Sho Nuff!

It depends on where you go. I dress up every Sunday, no matter the weather. The big mega churches tend to be very casual.

    Suthunuhs! Sho Nuff!

True! Howdy, all y'all! Texan here. I know all of these, and use lots of them, but some are specifically regional colloquial terms, not used all over the South. I don't hear the term "gimme some sugar" unless I'm in Louisiana or Georgia. Texans don't use that one. But my kids pitch fits...

    We're In This Together **APRIL**

Hi everyone! Natasha turned me on to your little get-together over here, so let me introduce myself. My name is Natalie, I'm 35, married 17 years, have a daughter (12), a son (11), and a dog named Max who think he's a person. He is not. I've been a runner and a gym rat since middle...

    STS/Shock Cardio Rotation & recovery

Natasha, I've done STS three times now, and truly the upper body splits are just perfect with a day of rest between. They are very different, and really isolate the muscles without overworking what you used in the previous workout. Splits are my favorite way to work. :) You're going to love STS!!

    Yeast Infections

You can get gentian violet from the pharmacy counter. They don't keep it on the shelves. When I was breast feeding I passed my yeast on to my baby who then passed it back to me...viscous cycle! I had to paint his mouth with Nystatin and gentian violet three times a day. His mouth was always...

    Yeast Infections

Very good point that it might not be yeast. My dr did test for yeast, and I also had internal plaques that were yeast overgrowth. Definitely make sure that your dr takes the time to test that it actually is yeast!

    Yeast Infections

The generic name is flucanozole, I think. I really hope you get some answers. It is a miserable way to live! And you do kind of start just living with it because it's so hard to treat. I would get a really good probiotic (the kind that has to be refrigerated) and press your dr hard for a...

    Yeast Infections

Elsie, When you say it's like a pin prick feeling, I think I know what you mean. My infections never exhibited itching or discharge either, just an intense prickling and burning sensation.

    Yeast Infections

Diflucan is a prescription antifungal so it will have to come from your doctor. It is a miracle drug. My yeast troubles started when my water broke at 16 weeks during my pregnancy with my son. I wasn't contracting, so to give my amniotic sac the chance to heal and to prevent infection, I was...

    Yeast Infections

I struggled for years with chronic yeast and bladder infections. I finally did 15 Diflucan in a row, and that got a handle on it. It was desperate time! I stay away from sugar, corn, caffeine and processed carbs. I also take probiotics everyday. Also, and I swear this made all difference, I...

If you go to realself.com you can ask your question and have it answered by plastic surgeons from all over the country. Dr. Michael Bogdan from my city participates, and he is wonderful.

    cervical biopsy

Yes, the speculum they use for that procedure is the size of the jaws of life. Holy crap. It's a vagina, not a twisted mass of train wreckage. Sheesh! Don't forget to grab my tonsils while you're up there! I hope you get your hysterectomy. I want one so badly. I TOTALLY get it!

    cervical biopsy

You're having a colposcopy done. They are no big deal! Don't worry! Lots of other things besides cancer can cause abnormal Paps (per my friend who is an oncologist). A few years ago I had a severe dysplasia when my Pap came back. They couldn't visually see it, but over the next several...

I'm another Cardio Coach fan (bless you, Sean). He will take you to new endurance levels for sure. I also really love the training schedules offered at RunnersWorld.com. They use to be free, but now I think they are about $20 for the download. WELL WORTH IT! They will guide you through...

Sean O'malley's sister speaks about his passing

Bless his heart. This is what I feared had happened since they were so quiet about it after Colleen said he passed away at home. It just breaks my heart. My husband's two brothers live with severe mental illness, one is entirely incapacitated. A friend of mine in high school took her own...

    Love and Appreciation

I am missing Sean as well, and what a wonderful time to share appreciation for you, Cathe! You have been a part of my family and daily life since March 2005. My family and friends all know whom I'm talking about when I mention Cathe. You literally kept me sane during the three years I lived...

    Hottest New Workout Classes

I do Bar Method, and I love it. The classes are much harder than the DVDs, but the DVDs are still incredible. The method incorporates barre and weights and lots of pushups. Some don't like the instructors on the videos, which I don't understand at all. I think they are fine.
