Cathe Sliding discs on tile floors?

I use them for everything. Just make the fabric small enough that your heel can still hang off the back and hit the floor if you need to brake. I did this for years with Tracie Long's functional training DVDs. She used towels in those herself.

    Afterburn or Athletic Training?

In the words of Nelson on The Simpsons...Ha ha!!

Cathe Sliding discs on tile floors?

For years, before I had discs, I used old handtowels that I cut to size. They work great on tile.

    Lower Body Blast breakdown

I don't know how much of a breakdown you want, but here's what I found on each: http://cathe.com/forum/f115/slide-n-glide-time-breakdown-284386/ Lower Body Blast: Equipment needed for this workout is a High Step (or step stool), weighted barbell, dumbbells, a resistance band and sliding...

    Afterburn or Athletic Training?

I think AT is the easier of the two, but they are two totally different workouts, so it's hard to compare. Afterburn makes me feel like barfing, but the highs and lows are nicely dispersed. AT opening step sequence is deceivingly difficult. Your legs are on fire and feel like lead when you're...

    ninja blenders

Vitamix, all the way! Nothing comes close. The Blendtec would be the closest, but I still like the Vitamix the best. Well worth the money.

    Looking for Organic Wheat Germ

I think it's really weird that they don't make it. However, I make all my own bread from flour I grind myself, and it's hard for me to find superpails of organic wheat. About half the time I settle for regular. Maybe it's a supply and demand issue. I get some satisfaction that at least I get...

    1st cathe workout tape

Low Impact Circuit and Body Max 2 were my first purchase in 2005. I knew about Cathe for years prior, but was scared to try her! I was so mad at myself for waiting so long after I finally tried LIC and BM2! I missed out for a long time. Now I own all but the earliest few workouts. Can't...

    Pure White Noise (my recommendation)

My husband and I sleep in different rooms because he is like sleeping with a dump truck in both sound and motion. :) We have been married almost 17 years, and it works for us!

    Pure White Noise (my recommendation)

I have an app on my phone called Sleep Pillow with the most relaxing white noise selections on it. When I plug my phone in at night, I turn the app on and it plays while I go to sleep. It has a timer, so it will turn off when you want it to. I have really bad tinnitis, and so I have to have...

    step taps/power squats help!

I don't have a problem with straddle taps, but I have an inner ear thing that makes the power turn squats impossible. I just do plyo squats for those.

    Rkya's!

I got a pair of those Nikes and really hated them. I went back to my Asics, too! I love my Gel Inspires! I've tried Rykas, and they are really comfy, but their sizing is weird for me. Their 8 is too small, but the 8.5 is too big. Sad since I really liked them.

Jillian Michaels 90 day Body Revolution

If you've done P90X, it's just like that with the reps/set. I just make a goal for each interval, and then make sure I keep it even on the other side. I think because you're used to doing that with Cathe, it won't be an issue for you. :)

Jillian Michaels 90 day Body Revolution

I have to say that her cueing is terrible on these. There is no counting reps; it's just getting your max in the time allotted. That is kind of hard when you want to make sure to work both sides equally. They are good workouts, though.

    STS twice per week..

I did Jamie Eason's LiveFit last year, and she is a big proponent of the no cardio/very little cardio approach. It was really hard for me to not do cardio that first cycle! However, you look at her amazing physique and can see that it must work. Thank you for the link. I am going to look...
