    Vega One

I have to say I prefer the Vega Sport. I don't know why exactly...maybe it's the reduction of the chlorella (I think I have the older version of Vega One) or the addition of the BCAAs, but it's really good. It's very smooth. My kids drink it all the time, too.

    Vega One

Oh, my gosh, you're cracking me up! I am totally with you on doing whatever works, so if I find out that Viagra also doubles as acne medication/wrinkle cream, I will let you know!

I do bike maneuver with my legs at a higher angle, not parallel with the floor. I try to get as low as I can without my lower back popping off the floor, and that's where I stay. You still get a great ab workout. I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one with freakishly dense quads and hamstrings!

Ha!! That's hilarious, Renee! No, I do not use Viagra!

How to get better at Military push up

If you have a step or a turbo barre, you can start with a higher angle on your toes and gradually lose a riser or take the barre down a notch as you get stronger. Another way would be to do the modified push ups Cathe does in one of her workouts (which one?) where you start on your toes and...

It has remarkably improved my tone and texture. All my acne scars and dark areas are gone. I don't know how well it does for wrinkles, but Clarisonic makes the Opal product specifically for wrinkles. I've seen the before and after photos sent in by users, and they are quite amazing. For me, I...

What the what?! What in the world was she smoking?! I have a suspicion that she told you that to keep your business. If you had started using the Clarisonic, you would have no need for her services anymore. Before long you will be able to move on from the acne camp!

    Vega One

I use Vega One or Vega Sport, depending on what the store has in stock. I think they taste really good and mix easily. I use mine for post-workout all by itself, but I frequently make smoothies with it for breakfast or a snack.

I have been wanting to try the deep pore brush! Maybe I'll run to Sephora today and see if they have one in stock. I am on the autoship program with Clarisonic for my brushes since you get 25% off that way. I have the standard two speed model, but when that one kicks the bucket I'm getting the...

I'm 35, and I thought by now I would be over the acne stage of my life. Groan. Try the sensitive brush first. It's the one that works for me, and we sound like we have similar skin. The acne brush has a stiffer bristle, and I've been hesitant to try it since over scrubbing my skin just leads...

    jumping & plyo

This is so interesting! That makes sense for a taller person. I am right in the middle at 5'4". My struggle with box jumps and tuck jumps is my larger thighs. They are quite heavy, and it's difficult to pull them up. It has taken tons of practice and persistence to do those moves. Also...

The two are really nothing alike. It's like comparing a Crest Spin Brush to a Sonicare. No comparison! The Clarisonic uses the same sonic technology as the Sonicare; it's not just a spinning brush. I've seen the Olay model as well as the Proactiv model, and they are nowhere near the same...

Todays lesson a trampoline is not a rebounder

I love trampolines! I had one in my backyard growing up. A place just opened near my house that does group bootcamp classes. They look really fun! Expensive, but fun. If you do end up on YouTube, you have to let us know!

You're sweet to say so. Sometimes it's hard to tell "tone" on the forums. :) But I've had enough conversation with you to know you're awesome! I just don't want anyone to misunderstand about the perils of the tall box jump!

    Tachycardia

Shannon, there are a few ways to bring your heart rate down by stimulating your vagal nerve. Our cardiologist told us to do these: You can bear down, put an ice pack on your face, or compress the nerve on one side of your neck using your fingers. He said those things should bring it down...

    jumping & plyo

Oh, I wasn't jumping seven risers for fun or to try and beat boredom! It was because I was working with a trainer, and it was HIS idea. I thought it was stupid! I wouldn't do it without him spotting me behind in case I fell. I did it because it was part of his training, but I refused when we...

Best skin care product EVER! Clarisonic, my friend. It has seriously changed lives around here. Is that too dramatic? :) Well, it certainly changed mine. No more melasma or acne. Halle-flipping-lujah!

    Summer Olympics and body image

I have enjoyed watching this as well. I am fascinated by the differences in the bodies of the swimmers as opposed to the gymnasts, and the volleyball players as well. It's beautiful! I can't wait for track and field to start so I can see those bodies.

Haaaa!! Yes we do! I was enabled into an elliptical and treadmill a couple years ago, so I hear ya! I'm so glad I have it. We are meeting with an architect soon to start designing a new home, and we are putting in a dedicated fitness room with all the trimmings. So excited! *flaming credit card*
