Anyone here use Vega One (particularly the nutrition shake). If so, how do you use it? (supplement, meal replacement, pre/post-workout, etc). What do you think of the product? I'm considering using it as an additional source of protein (I'm veg). Thanks!
 
I use Vega One or Vega Sport, depending on what the store has in stock. I think they taste really good and mix easily. I use mine for post-workout all by itself, but I frequently make smoothies with it for breakfast or a snack.
 
Lmbo I know this sounds silly but... I read ur post from my phone and it shows only first sentence and its light in color so hard to see..I read I use viagra lol. I noticed your picture from ealier post on the beauty product ..I was like what viagra gee what new beauty secret does she know now... looked closer and of course I read wrong.
Sorry it made me smile after I realize. I mean I was even interested in viagra if it was gonna help something. I thought how in the world! Lol

Ha!! That's hilarious, Renee! No, I do not use Viagra!
 
Lol ur face is nice so I was willing to crush those bad boys up and smear them somewhere on face or chest! That's pretty sad isnt it!but Funny What we do to look nice. Hahaaaa.

Oh, my gosh, you're cracking me up! I am totally with you on doing whatever works, so if I find out that Viagra also doubles as acne medication/wrinkle cream, I will let you know!
 
I use the older version of vega one but when I run out I will use the new version the same anyway. I don't think it is a suitable pre/post workout shake because it has fat in it and I stick to faster digesting proteins and carbs around workouts unless it is a lighter cardio workout. I prefer to use rice or pea for pre-post workout. I like vega one as a meal replacement or snack, depending on how hungry I am. the sport line is really good for workout fuel and is the only vegan brand I have seen with BCAA's etc. (I could be missing out though)
can anyone compare the newer version? I have heard it tastes a little better with the reduction of chlorella. I really like the benefits of chlorella but am not crazy about the taste.
 
Cool - I'm thinking this will be good first thing in the morning or even midday to keep my energy levels up.

I have to say I prefer the Vega Sport. I don't know why exactly...maybe it's the reduction of the chlorella (I think I have the older version of Vega One) or the addition of the BCAAs, but it's really good. It's very smooth. My kids drink it all the time, too.
