    Will Recovery workouts be chaptered?

I hope so too. I can see myself having some fun with the workout blender and this series.

Curious, Who's be a Live member since the beginning?

I have 50 workouts in my blender library so far. Just signed up to another 12 months of OnDemand. Love the workout blender as I can shorten workouts and add breaks to allow me time to swap out weights, set up equipment, etc.

Cathe, Jenn A, and Jenn D doing a Downward Facing Dog in the STS 2.0 Total Body Stretch recovery workout

For me, finding ways to modify exercises is key to me continuing to work out. I can usually take modifications from other workouts I've done over the years but occasionally I need to get help from my Pilates instructor to come up with a suitable modification. She does a lot of rehab work with...

Rear delt flys and a barbell version of a rear delt row in the STS 2.0

I work out barefoot. I find I can balance better barefoot as I can spread my toes. A lot of shoes, especially women's shoes, are narrow and I have wide feet. My feet feel confined and get sore from the sides of the shoes rubbing on them. Also, I don't like stepping on mats, bands, or tubing...

Cathe, Jenn A, and Jenn D doing a Downward Facing Dog in the STS 2.0 Total Body Stretch recovery workout

Lady Vol Fan, I do use yoga blocks for some poses, and I also have a Pilates moon box which I sometimes use. But with down dog this is often a pose done as part of a flow or before transitioning into something else and I find I can't transition as easily using the blocks. I've also tried using...

Cathe, Jenn A, and Jenn D doing a Downward Facing Dog in the STS 2.0 Total Body Stretch recovery workout

For down dog I have to be on my toes, and I also have to slightly bend my knees. If I try to do down dog like everyone else my back rounds, I can't send my hips up and back and I have too much weight on my hands which hurts my wrists. I had to go through this with my Pilates instructor to work...

? on Cathe 6 foot TPE Bands ?

I go between light and medium tension depending on the exercise. If it's a new workout I start with the light tension and make notes on where I think I can go up to medium and try that the next time I do the workout. I do this with weights too. I start lighter if it is a new workout.

STS 2.0 is so full of options that there is something for everyone!

I haven't snapped a firewalker loop or tubing yet, but I did snap the medium tension band that came with the fit tower. I was doing a bicep curl and I hit myself in the face. That hurt. They snap without any warning.

STS 2.0 is so full of options that there is something for everyone!

I can't see clearly from the picture but in the dumbbell version is the band just simply placed under the dumbbell so the loop is pulling up against the dumbbell handle?

    PDF of the calendar

I agree. The only times I have bought physical items from Cathe is when I could take advantage of the free worldwide shipping, otherwise it is just too expensive. However, currently they are not even shipping to New Zealand.

Cathe, Al, and Kristin doing a forward leaning elevated lunge in the STS 2.0 Single Body Part Legs workout

It depends on your strength, balance, and flexibility. I usually only go 2-3 risers high. I have a workout bench that is about the height equivalent of 4-5 risers, and I can't step up on that. I don't have the strength and stability in my hips and glutes to propel me up with my leg at that...

Cossack Squat/Lunge with a Bear Crawl Press in Cathe's STS 2.0 Mobility #2 Recovery workout

Not sure until I see the full move but I'm thinking you may be able to just eliminate the shoulder press part and just do the cossack squat/lunge or even just side to side low lunges with a hold.

    Cardio Suggestions

I do Cathe's kickbox workouts but take out most of the jumping. I actually use some of the low impact modifications from Turbo Jam in some of Cathe's kickbox workouts, like the alternative to jump rope. ICE Rock M Sock M has Amanda showing modifications for some of the moves, so I incorporate...

Elevated Lunges in Cathe's STS Single Body Part Leg Workout

I find elevated lunges difficult. They really show up my imbalances and my tight hip flexors. When my right leg is back, I wobble all over the place but I'm OK when my left leg is back. I can only go to 2 risers, and I use lighter weights.

    Foam roller workouts

There are ways to modify. As Braille said, you can start by using it up against the wall which also allows you to adjust pressure by how much you lean into it. If you don't have the wall space, you can use it on the ground with a towel over it to soften it if you are finding the density of the...

15 dvds - how many workouts do you think?

Just found some info when I logged in to the shopping page. The preorder isn't quite ready but the description and prices for STS 2.0 are there. There are 24 workouts across 15 DVDs, 13 strength, 8 recovery, and 3 abs. Pricing is $119.97 for DVDs only, $99.97 for Downloads (premixes not...

    New Balance Disc?

A balance disc is a round inflatable cushion. In Pilates I have used it under the pelvis to exaggerate pelvis movements from side to side and back and forward. This trains the brain to understand where the pelvis is and how it is moving. Then when you take the disc out and perform exercises...

    Question about foam rollers..

Foam rollers come in all sorts of densities and extras these days. I started using them at the Pilates Studio I go to; these were the longer ones and varied from low to medium density. The first one I purchased for myself was a long one and harder than the studio ones. I found using a thick...
