    RT Dread...normal?!

@ Lori: thanks for remembering me and asking. Honestly, it was not what I expected. I discovered that most of my initial fears were totally irrational and felt foolish for most of the things I had anxiety over before the trip. I also uncovered things I never thought I’d enjoy. I discovered...

    RT Dread...normal?!

Susan, LOL, you are TOTALLY my twin. Yes, I was the one that felt sick when Cathe confirmed this RT. Instead of feeling joy, excitement and gratitude for the opportunity, I thought "crap, now what am I going to do?!" I just read your post in the "shall we start the count down" your food...

    RT Dread...normal?!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one struggling. I'm not really nervous about meeting people though, it's more strange things like how much food should I pack? I'm local, so I don't have the added stress of flying. (If I had to fly I would have canceled, or probably not even signed up, that...

    RT Dread...normal?!

I will be one of the new comers attending this week’s RT, and I am completely and totally DREADING it!! At the time I signed up, it sounded like a great idea, however, the closer the time comes the more sick I feel. I see Cathe’s FB post about the FedEx truck on its way to WI and instead of...

    Exercise Form Question

Hi Cathe, When I did STS Disc 1 chest, shoulders and bi's I noticed I had some muscle soreness in my latissimus dorsi, higher up, on the outer edge of the back, close to the armpit. It's not an injury or anything, simply muscle tenderness from lifting. I've noticed this tenderness after...

What workouts will be highlighted on the Chicago RT?

Hi, Does anyone know what six workouts will be performed during the Chicago Road Trip? I have never attended a RT and have no idea what to expect. I know I have seen the phrase "high energy" workouts but was wondering if anyone knew which specific high energy workouts that might be. I have...

Join Us: Chicago 2012 Road Trip is On!

Susan, Yea!!!! I was thinking about you yesterday. I was going to reply and inform you that there was still space available but didn't want to be pushy or make you feel worse if the final answer was 'no.' I am so excited. It's funny you mentioned exercise clothes too, because I just back...

    Fly to Chicago or Wisconsin

It will be far easier to fly into Milwaukee as opposed to O'hare or Midway. I'm not sure about cost but I am from this area and avoid Chicago airports whenever possible. Not only is Milwaukee easier to get in and out of but also closer to Lake Geneva. Hope this helps :)

Join Us: Chicago 2012 Road Trip is On!

Jean and Melissa, Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I am pleased to announce that I signed up!! I am freaking out! I hope I don't make a fool of myself. I need to work on my step moves, lol. My boys will be less than happy, but I know they will be in good hands while I'm...

Join Us: Chicago 2012 Road Trip is On!

Susan, I totally know where you're coming from. I live about an hour and ten min north of the city (Chicago) and am only about thirty min south from Lake Geneva. A part of me was hoping this road trip wouldn't happen so I wouldn't have the conflict on what to do! I also understand the...

Join Us: Chicago 2012 Road Trip is On!

Road trip questions I'm really considering attending this, but have never done ANYTHING even close to this before. As a result, I too have many questions. Any idea what workouts will be done? I am soooo bad at step and fear making a horrible fool of myself if step is one of the classes. I'm...
