I found this Thread when looking for answers to my wrist pain. So much god advice. No mention of Wrist/hand straps...Any input on that?
Also what about the suggestion of using wrist weights with high reps?
I was not injured during the incident except the seed of fear planted. Maynard is healing and can't run for two weeks. He won't be happy. I honestly don't think the spray would have stopped this dog. I am applying for a pistol permit. I agree with the way ownerss react "Come here foo...
While on my run Saturday morning a dog came out and attacked my dog that runs with me. I do have spray, but did not have it on me at the time. I guarantee I will from now on. What do other runners use and find to be the best. I am looking at HALT on amazon.

We took our oldest back to college driving from New York to Indiana last week. The days we were riding (9 1/2 hrs) were def worse than walking around.

Yes indeed. I have gone through so much ice! Day 5 and doing fairly well. Swelling has been minimal and I think it's all due to the ice and elevation. Although I must say this sitting around is driving me CRAZY!!!! :eek::confused::eek::confused:
Thanks Nan for sharing your story. Interesting you did PT. I asked about that and he said yes some do but didn't feel I would really need it. My thought is tell me what I can do and I will do it at home. Will be sure and ask at pre-op visit.
