I just did the STS Total Body workout last week. I don't have a tower and didn't have any problems. I actually use whatever is around that is sturdy...usually the bar on my lifting bench or a chair. And like CeciFifi wrote, a windowsill would be just fine. :)
30 Day Strength Finished

I did the 30 day Xtrain Strength rotation from mid-Jan to mid-Feb. I loved it! I tend to prefer weight training to cardio. It pushed me to up my weights and use bands as well. I think my upper body benefited from it more than my legs. I did add some...
