    Overtraining???

    I have always told my clients that if you are questioning if you are overtraining... you probably are. Taking a day or two off will only help-- you get stronger while at rest, not while working out. It's hard, of course, but I've had much better results and I know many others have, too...

    I'd try it again, but have your step in front of you so you don't need to put the weight all the way on the ground... by squatting less deep you can perhaps avoid the DOMS and increase your strength slowly with the move. HTH

    No burn sets for Legs

    Legs can handle more weight than is safe to handle for a home exerciser, at home, which is why we do pre exhaust sets etc. there is no chance I can lift anything as heavy over my head or keep on my shoulders as my legs could press.
