Morning ladies!

Well - Kick followed up by STS last night wiped me OUT! And on top of that I had a total fail of a dinner so I woke up STARVING today. I got my STS legs done this morning though, plus Ab Circuits/no equipment abs after that and felt good! My abs were pretty sore from Kick yesterday which I loved to feel. I cannot believe I'm one workout away from being done with STS M2 already! Crazy!! I think I might try High Reps later this week for an extra weight workout, I've been digging the new workouts, and the added weights too! Cathe did us proud didn't she??

Belinda - sounds like a great workout on tap...but you better get those abs in or Roxie might "yell" at you ;-)

Hi ladies. I think I am going to try to do triceps and shoulders at lunch. Still on the fence about cardio. It'll either be the elliptical for 30 mins or maybe MMA boxing plus abs.

Chris - I know you're right about the numbers. Hope you got some rest last night.

Roxie - good job with your workout!!!

Jessica - I have no idea how you did both Kick AND STS last night. I bet you slept like a rock.

Today was the dreaded cardio. I chose Low Max and had an ok workout. At least it went fast.

Ha, I actually DID sleep like a rock, totally made up for the prior night's restless sleep. Though it did take me FOREVER to doze off, I was so amped up from the workout! HA!

Good Morning,

Tonite for me is MM Upper Body. I wanted to do it this morning but I didn't sleep well kept getting cold and then I messed up my alarm so I was late getting up.

Debbie-I have that workout tomarrow I believe but just the step.

Jess-I can't yell at anybody right now for abs or other workouts when I haven't been that great myself.

Belinda-please get your abs done.

Roxie - you are still fully within your right to yell at us to do our abs. I expect that from you now! :)

In other news - can I just vent a sec? I am TOTALLY regretting that I gave my employer through Dec 29 vs. the two weeks I wanted to give initially. I just got a note that said I no longer qualify for the Christmas bonus for my hard work this year because I gave my notice last week. Really?? Really?? So all that hard work for the last year...last SIX years even...means nothing just because I gave my notice last week??? Could they BE anymore petty and ridiculous. I seriously wish I could take back that last week of the year now. GRRRR.

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

I am SO freakin' tempted to update my resignation letter with a new date. I'm SO pissed. Jo is trying to tell me to not burn a bridge by doing that but seriously, I am ANGRY right now. What a big fat slap, huh???
 
It's more than just a slap in the face. That's just wrong. Plain and simple. Wrong. They obviously don't have any respect for the work you've done, I'd be hard pressed to find any good reason to stick it out. Of course, I can be hot-headed and irrational so you may not want to listen to me :eek:

Belinda - Hope you have a great workout later!!! I'm loving this new 4 week cycle. At least I get to tweak it before I send you the rest of the rotation. I tend to change things as I go along and that sometimes messes others up.

Roxie - Excellent puke status workout from last night! :eek: I like LIS, fun workout!

Nora - I agree with Heather - you are an animal! Nothing stops you girl, you just keep at it! Very nice workout last night, even though you weren't feeling good. You rock!!! :eek: Hope you feel good today. {{hugs}}

Heather - Yes, that is what matters - that the workout goes by fast. LOL!! I know LM so well I could do it in my sleep, so it's kind of like I don't even have to think when I'm doing it, which is good sometimes. Hope you have a great workout at lunch.

Jess - HOLY CRAP!!! You know what? I'd walk out that door at the 2 week mark and never turn back. Screw them. Thats what they are doing to you, so do it back to them. I just cannot believe they are doing that to you. Again, I say walk out on the 23rd and don't look back.
 
Jess-for as miserable as they made you that is just pure crap I agree with everyone else get the hell out of there at 2weeks. I will continue to yell at you for abs which I don't remember seeing yet.

I think there are a few GS rotations on the rotation forum. I have a couple but I think it's mixed with S&H as well.

Really, all you need to do is something like this:

Day 1 - GS Chest & Tri's
Day 2 - Cardio
Day 3 - GS Legs
Day 4 - Cardio
Day 5 - GS Back, Bi's & Shoulders
Day 6 - Cardio
Day 7 - Rest

Follow this for about 4 weeks and increase your weights each week by about 5%. I think you'd get awefully sick of GS by the time the 4 weeks were up, though. That's why I mixed it up with S&H in one of my rotations.
 
I had a much better weight workout at lunch today than yesterday. Maybe my head just wasn't in it yesterday. Today I felt really strong and probably could have gone heavier with some of the weights. It was Shoulders and Triceps from M2D22 done as 3x10 dropsets.

Seated Overhead Press - 20's, 17's, 15's
Incline Front Raise - 11's, 10's, 9's
Seated Lateral Raise - 12's, 11's, 10's
Seated Rear Delts - 12's, 11's, 10's
Flat Bench Dumbbell Tricep Extensions - 15's, 14's, 13's (should have started with 16's)
Close Grip Push Ups (triceps pushups) - 10, 10, TF (these hurt my elbows and have to do on my knees. TF = 12)
Kickbacks Double Arm - 13's, 12's, 11's (should have started at 14's)

My plan is to do MMA Boxing and abs from PH after work.

Debbie - I have not done LM in a million years. That was one of the first ones and I did it so much (along with Rhythmic Step) that I kind of got to where I didn't like it. I'm afraid I'm going to end up doing that with the MMA boxing and kickboxing workouts.

Part of me worries about burning a bridge, but quite honestly, I have plenty of connections outside of this company that I will be just fine without them. I feel so insulted by their actions - they are just being petty because I'm walking away and they don't like it. My husband says to just stick it out because I'd still be getting paid through the end of the month but part of me thinks its just not worth it. I'm so torn...and still so pissed off.

But no vacation time or anything like that? Could you work until the 27th then take the 28th and 29th off with those sick days and get paid through the end?

Yes, I have like two days of sick time I never used that I'll get paid for so really if I didn't end up working the last week of the year, the difference in pay would be minimal.
