50 and over week of Feb 28 check in

I had a pretty good workout this morning. Not what I planned. :rolleyes: My DH has a workout he does 3 or 4 times a week. It's a combination of exercises he put together then stretching. Lasts about 50 minutes. It was fun to workout together.
 
Good morning,

I did measure last night. "Official weigh in" 172lbs. This is 1lb less than I started with in Nov 08. At least I have not gained any during this nonexercise period. I will reset my signature line.

Well, Monday's are my weigh in and measure days. I've managed to gain yet another pound of crap on this body.

I have to start changing it up NOW!
Here's my rotation goals:
Mondays -- Weights full body (I plan to do 1/3 of the final STS's meso 2 disc 22,23,24 today) After that I just want to start the week off with weights

Tuesday -- Cardio
Wednesday -- AWT
Thursday -- Cardio and/or stretching,yoga, pilates
Friday -- AWT
Saturday -- Cardio

I have picked out hare's, tortoise's and some classics for AWT. Cardio will be step, treadmill, hi/low, HIIT and hopefully outside yard work SOON.
I am choosing workouts from Cathe, theFirm, Tracie Long anything, FitPrime, Jillian, Rob, Christie, Amy, Kelleycoffey, and what ever else I find along the way. I've decided to put the workouts on a pile and depending on the day of the week pull from the pile.

I'm ready. I have no idea what I will do today but cardio seems to help me lose the best. I don't know why signature line didn't change. I want to start at 0.

Hi, Y'All!

I'm ready to lose some weight, too! I think I'm probably heavier right now than I have been in a while, I just haven't gotten up the nerve to weigh yet.

DH and I decided to go back to the South Beach Diet. We had great success on it before, and the food is SOOO good! So we started that today.

My plan is to do three days of cardio and three days of AWT, plus extra stretching at least 3 times a week. Today I started with Basic Step and Total Body Stretching (plus the ab add-on from the Basic Step DVD). I need to rebuild my aerobic capacity, so I am starting at an easier level and I'll just listen to my body and work my way up accordingly. I'm gonna use a lot of Cathe's workouts, but I'm also adding some favorites from The Firm, FitPrime (both original and the later version), and some others I like.
Gonna try losing most of the weight before I try STS again.

Good evening,

I'm home from taking care of Mom. Didn't do much when I got home.....went to bed and took a nap. So no workout for me today.

AWT workouts are fun....they're great for me when I don't want to workout.
 
Me too!!

I have been soooooo discouraged! My weigh in is Sunday and no change!! I am only eating around 1200 cal per day and it makes me want to cry.. Ok enough of a pity party... here is my plan

insanity in the am
alterante weights (sts) and a long lean routine (p57) in the evening

Yes, you heard me-- twice a day!!

It has to come off!! I am also rereading "burn the fat"- confusing as heck but motivating!

We can do this!!!!!
 
Hi ladies,

I don't have calories eaten in front of me but it is between 1200-1300 calories. I think 1240 but would have to walk upstairs to find out.

I just did 30 min of Step Heat. I didn't feel I had more time than that.

I'm hungry so I know it is working.

Back to work.

Good morning,

I did Disc 22 and 4DS - bootcamp cardio only. I wanted to makeup yesterday's cardio workout.

My diet has been the pits.....I'll try to be good today.
 
I forgot to post my workout yesterday :eek: I did disc's 22,23,24 22 chest I did two sets of the three for each exercise, 23 legs - I did 2 rounds of the 3 rounds for each exercise , 24 back - I did a 2 sets of a couple and only 1 of a couple of the sets ((got tired). So I am officially finished Meso 2 strength !! :D
Today was cardio I did Coffey 30 minute body training. This is a Very Slow paced workout that does not use any equipment. I added TJ cardio to get my calorie burn up to 250. This workout would be OK to travel with since it does not use any equipment. AND it's all lower body. There is another workout on the disc which may be more upper. But I needed to BURN some calories so I opted for TJ. :D

Eating was OK yesterday I need to clean it up more though.
 
Hi, there.

My eating was good yesterday, not quite as good this morning, but the rest of the day is going to be good.

I had to sing for a friend's funeral today, so I had no time this morning to workout. Also, I hurt my back yesterday, but I am icing it and taking Advil and it's a lot better today. I am trying to figure out what I can do that will not stress it--maybe a walk? Anyway, I will be back on track totally tomorrow.

I did insanity pure cardio, then p57 until past the leg routine and trhought I was going to die... I am going to get some work done then get after the Cathe sts , can't remember where I am right now, so that I will have some weights in today, although, the legs on that p57 are enough to make me want to collapse!

Today, I am logging as I eat so I don't go over my limit on anything- FYI- after 4 or 5 days of having those weight watcher snack things around, I noticed that my fat limit had almost doubled even though my calories were low- at 1 pt each, I though I could eat 6, but now I see the error of my ways and it might explain last week:confused:

Yes you read that right. :p Now, I only did 2 sets of the 3 sets of exercises on the first two and 1 set of the back and triceps. So I ended up doing only about 2/3's of 22 and 23 and 1/3 of 24. I didn't wait on all the 1 minute rest either :eek: It was a great f u l l body workout!! I am done. :D The rest of this week will be cardio and AWT.. then I will continue with my new rotation.

I hate that when I eat something -- then -- check and find out it was not what I thought it should have been either calorie or protein or fiber wise! I was eating these "healthy" crackers. Flaxseed, made with 100% whole wheat etc. etc... then I read the label... ugh!! :confused:
 
That's why I am reading the label first this week-- I now have nothing left to eat so I am making the old standby- vegetable soup for dinner (my dinner- the men around here can eat anything)

Well, I like your weight routine idea and I am going to do that as well- let's just think of it as another way to "confuse" our bodies:D:D

Gosh Magnolia, I think singing at a friends' funeral would be one of the most stressful things I can imagine... I hope your back gets better -- maybe- just stretch and yoga..

Hi ladies,

Yesterday was 1225 calories and today 1250.

I did Drill Max today or at least 30 min of it. I have been giving myself permission to quit at 30 min and I then don't feel quilty about stopping work.
