#10 Challenge - Oct 2

Does anyone else get nervous when the weekend comes? It's Friday and I'm happy that I've maintained for this week. It is what I expected after my big loss last week but now the weekend is coming and it makes me nervous!!!!

So - I'm going to try to plan and journal my food as if it were a workday. Hopefully that will help.

Anyone got tips to manage weekend eating?
 
Okay don't think today is gonna be good. Tonight is DS's party and there are Tacos and ice cream cake on the menu! Will have to be really good all day long!:p

This morning was Meso 3 Disc 33 Shoulders, Biceps & Triceps. I didn't get much sleeping due to coughing, so I feel really lousy first thing in the morning and really did not want to do this. And I can't tell you howmany times I wanted to quit during the workout. But it's done! Only one week to go!

Cindi - I wish I had some great tips for you, but geez I can't even get through the week yet!

Denise - You are not struggling alone! We will get our acts together!
 
Today I did Meso 2, Week 4, Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. Had a great workout. Hoping for more of a loss tomorrow when I weigh in. Not holding my breath, though. I hate that let down feeling when you see the number and realize you haven't gone down. We'll see. I feel lean today.

Oh yes, the w/e is my downfall. I'm usually super strict during the week, but I make numerous trips back & forth to the fridge on the w/e. I just can't help myself. And now that it's cold out it's worse. I think we still retain that caveman instinct to put on an extra layer of fat to keep us warm. :confused:

Cindi, I guess in some ways I'm lucky I live alone. I've found the only way to control the w/e binges is to simply not keep bad stuff in the house. The day before we started this challenge I threw out almost everything in my fridge & cupboards. I have cravings all w/e but fortunately I cannot satisfy them LOL. Probably I will have that Sunday bagel though, I can't resist it, & since it's right after I lift I suppose the damage is minimal.

I'm still stuck at the 4 lb weight loss. No movement on the scale. Here's hoping I don't undo it this w/e & can make some progress next week!

This morning I did Step Heat, I forgot how fun & intense that w/o is! My HR stayed in the 170s pretty much the entire time. I burned 380 cals in 40 minutes, then switched to Step Max just to bump it over 400 & ended up w/a 450 cal burn. :eek: The Classics really are classic! :D
 
Upper Body Pyramid for me today. Weekend should be quiet. No plans for dining out so hopefully I can keep things in check. Although the trip to the pumpkin patch/evil halfmoon cookie stand with assorted other Halloween things could prove dangerous. Work has become a bit insane, so that will keep me away from the doughnut holes down the hall!!

Here's to a bit of strength for all of us this weekend. Scale moved a smidge!! I hope it keeps smidging.;) Enjoy the weekend!!
 
Hey Ladies,

Late check in today was on the road early today!!! I did Plyo Legs Disc 1 which kicks my butt!!! but in a good way...will do weights later.

Weekend.....oh yes....if I don't keep myself busy I'm in trouble with 2 kids and a hubby that loves sweet my house is a sugar haven :p. Besides my weakness is I love to bake especially this time a year. I try just to have one cookie or a bit of what I make and then pretend it does not exist :eek:.

I am hoping for 2 pounds...fingers and toes crossed and I will be happy because at least it a start.
