Hi Laura,

Do your Target bands have handles? If so, they should be fine. I have a couple from Target and they are very comfortable and have held up fine. They may not provide as heavy resistance as some of those sold by BB (My heaviest Target one is roughly equal in resistance to the lightest one in the BB 'standard' set).

I'd start w/ your Target ones and see what you think about the resistance levels. There are some places online that sell them too. Not sure of the website offhand, but I can do some digging if you like.

If you just have dynaband type flat bands, those will be harder to work w/ on certain moves (overhead press comes to mind) because your hands won't be able to maintain a horizontal position throughout the move.

HTH!

oops! i did meen dynabands. since they r in 3 levels i think it will b ok. i use the dynabands-from prospirit-in sts. light for t and y pulls, med for tri,and heavy for back.

Great! You probably know this already, but if they are awkward for moves like the overhead press, wrapping the band around your hand will help some. Will your sister be using these?
