I have been trying for yrs to get my 5k times under 26minutes and never have been able to do so. Ihad been getting soooo frustrated because everyone around me had been lowering there times and I couldnt understand why i couldnt. I have asthma so that doesnt help. Anyway, last july I did this 5k which I consider the toughest 5k around my area, many inclines and hills and very hot although I didnt break 26 minutes with that race I did have what I cosinder a good time for as tough as a course as it was. I finished 26 min 35 seconds and I hadnt been doing races for 2 yrs and the first time I did this race I finished in 28 min. anyway, I just did a 5k 2 weeks ago and finished in 25 min 41 seconds the best time I have ever had in a race and I feel its because I had been doing cardio coach vol 7 just 1x week for over amonth and when I did the race last july I also had been doing cardiocoach vol 8. I feel that cardio coach helped me with both these races. I wonder what I would have done if I had done cardio coach 2x week instead of just once but I didnt have the time to incorporate it into my schedule more.anyway cardio coach has helped me realize that it isnt hopeless for me to get better times with my races as I had originally come to think. I was at the point that I really thought maybe I couldnt lower my times and it made me feel inadequate but cardio coach has come to show me that I can!!! Thanks coach sean!!
