110!!!!!!!!!

Elliemom...

OMG!!!

No wonder I am bored to tears with mine. All I have are Cathe's!!!
How's Amy Bento and Tracy Stael???
Give me some ideas PLEASE!!!
elliemom :D:D

I can't say about Tracy, but I will say that I find Amy's choreography to be extremely complicated! Okay, maybe I'm not the most coordinated person (and I am right/left challenged), but after more than 20 years of doing workout videos, I can say that Amy Bento's are the most difficult I've ever tried to learn. I have (and love) Xtreme Kickboxing, and just got and I'm learning ASC III.

Preview them at Collage Video (and read the reviews, too!). Good luck!

LOVE Amy Bento.........you have to buy one....... ASC2 or Kickbox Xtreme......... NOWWWWWWWWWWW.......of course i have a problem... ;)

But why do you put yours in a spreadsheet, rather than just a list in Word?

I just like doing spreadsheets; I'm anal that way. Well, actually it's because I don't just list the workout but I have columns for the instructor, level (beg, int, adv), where I bought it (so when I resell I can say where it was originally purchased), whether I've tried it (lots of current workouts I haven't even tried yet) and if it's one I own now or if it's been sold. You can see the spreadsheet on my Fitness Tools page linked to my blog. I admit to being a bit geeky.

 Wow! 110? 328? kassia! You ppl put me to shame!! LOL. I want to count mine now out of curiosity. ;) I got rid of all my VHS tapes (some Cathe, all my Firm videos, and who knows what others) some time ago, and I only use my Cathe DVDs. I typically pre-order each entire DVD series that she produces.

That's impressive, Laine. I just used Word b/c I wasn't sure how I wanted them....I decided to just put in Actress/Instructor Categories. I've tried 95 percent of them, if I liked them even a little I keep them...or pass them along.

I was thinking of using a star system to help me remember which ones I like the best. I also have a running list of 40 min or less great workouts and premixes----for short on time days. :)

Lainie, if you have a separate column in excel for whether or not they've been sold, you could sort on that column to more easily figure out how many you currently own. (Assuming you want to, that is!;):p)

edit: and I haven't counted mine, but it isn't even close to some of these numbers! And it's almost all Cathe.

Yeah, I have a separate spreadsheet with just the ones I currently own (it has some different info in the columns like workout type and time). I should probably just merge them. Anyway, I said earlier I had "about 140" because there are 140 on my current list. However, I have about 5 I haven't entered on the spreadsheet yet. Once I enter them, I take them out of their cases and put them in my DVD binder (the cases go in a box in the basement). Man, the more I say on this thread, the more geeky I sound.

Well, I started to count and I'm already well over 100, and that's not including all the ones I'm forgetting (I'm at work, my workouts are at home and I'm not efficient like Lainie Spreadsheetpants;)). And that's not including Cardio Coaches and iTrains.

I actually decided that this month I'm not doing a rotation. I'm just going to do whatever workout I feel like, because there are so many that I either haven't tried or haven't done in ages!

191. Not counting STS.
I counted this morning. My Dh has asked how many do I need. Then he said it probably would get really boring doing the same one over and over. So he's is ok with it.

He can't really say too much however because he has over 1000 CD's which i can't wait to program into the IPOD he is going to get me for Christmas. :p

I almost didn't open this thread because I thought maybe the title was a brag about your weight, and the last time I was that small was eighth grade!

LOL! I thought the same thing at first! :D
WOW. I thought I had a lot at 60+. You all put me to shame... I stand now in covetous awe. :)
And Lainie, I totally agree with Jodi! Geeky is good! :)

Lainie, I love it! You are so organized and meticulous! Now I'm motivated to catalog my own collection!

I love lists. I love books about getting organized. I love routines. Being really organized is my #1 New Year's Eve resolution every year! Someday I'm going to get there, and it will feel so good when I do! (It's my holy grail... or impossible dream!)

Thanks for the info!

Thanks. ;) The funny thing is I'm only organized and meticulous in certain areas of my life. In others I'm a complete mess. :p It's just that I can't put that intense organizational energy to everything so I let other things go.

I'm such a workout DVD nerd that I have spreadsheets listing them. I list them by workout rather than DVD, though, so not sure how many DVDs I have. I have about 140 workouts but of course Cathe will often have 2 or 3 workouts per DVD. Then on my list of all the DVDs I've had, including the ones sold, I have a total of 328. I've gotten rid of A LOT of stuff.

It's good to have variety. :D

OMG Lainie - a spreadsheet???? God love ya for being so - well - organized. I can only dream of being that good.

I was going to say anal-retentive but did not want you to take it wrong. Really I commend you.
