Another dumb forum ?

When people post stuff that starts like this..

<---------

...what is that? What does that mean? Pointing? I've always wanted to reply to one of these but wasn't sure about it.

heehee

I asked myself the same question a few weeks ago, so I just asked one day in that forum thread... turns out that the <-- is referring to yourself... according to Fit_fairy they are known at OALers which stands for (I learned last week) Order of the Arrow Ladies! lol... they are great and it's fun to try to figure out how to play along!

for example you might say:

<--waves hi to everyone

which means:

Dani (or I, or We, etc.) says hi to everyone...

HTH :)

That is not a dumb question. I kind of figured it out but was not 100% and I felt like asking but didn't. Now I know.. ;)

I am not embarrassed to say that there are plenty of threads that I don't understand, especially when they start talking Alphabet soup! :) It took me a while to figure out people were talking about Cathe DVD titles!

so someday, I hope you drop by one of the <-- threads and take a shot at it! they are fun;)

Oh I'm glad you asked this question, I have been curious about this for so long!

I have another question about it.

When people reply to those threads, is there a way to tell your computer to just make the little arrow every time you hit enter or something? Or do people actually type

<---------

before every one of their sentences?

It's very hard work, but good for your wrists. Cathe is thinking about doing a <---workout DVD next, after STS is released.
