Kick’d up Omega 3 Nut Butter

Ingredients

1 Jar of Raw Crunchy Almond Butter (I used Trader Joe’s)
¼ Cup crushed Hazelnuts
12 Brazil Nuts – Crushed
¼ cup of crushed cashews
¼ cup of chia seeds
¼ cup of whole flax seeds

Directions:

Take 1 whole jar of raw crunchy almond butter, empty half into another container (or another empty nut butter jar). Combine the nuts and seeds in a bowl. Add half of the nut and seed mixture into each jar. Stir well and enjoy!! Eat it by itself or use it to top your favorite fruits or healthy pancakes,muffins or waffles!

I eat it by the spoonful and so do my kids, they love it!!

  • This looks great! I like how you use trader joe’s almond butter. My only question is, how much of this should we have per day if we are just eating it for the omega 3? Or a better question would be, how much omega 3 a day should we be having? Thanks.
