Yummy Breakfast

I had the most delicious breakfast this morning and wanted to share it with you all.

I saw it in Muscle Fitness magazine and decided to try it.
It's quick and delicious and combines carbs & protein. Here it is.

2 Multi Grain frozen waffles
1/2 cup of low-fat cottage cheese
2 Tbsp. light sugar-free preserves (See Note)

Heat both waffles in toaster oven according to directions, then spread each with cottage cheese mixed with the jam.

Makes one serving, 320 calories, 21 g protein, 55 g carb, 7 g fat, 4 g fiber

NOTE: I did not have preserves so I substituted 2 Tbsp of light maple syrup it was delicious but very sweet so I may try 1 Tbsp next time.

Enjoy!

That sounds great for breakfast or anytime. Hey Musclemaiden, could you share your workout schedule.

I would be happy to share. After experimenting for many years this is what I find works best for me. I need lots of variety or else I get bored. I work out at home as well as at a gym. Here are the last two weeks of workouts taken from my journal. In case your not familiar with it the 20 Minute Aerobic Solution is taken from the Body for Life book.
