YRG Fitness Infomercial with Diamond Dallas Page

Has anyone seen this infomercial? I saw it for the first time this morning. He claims that you can get your heart rate up doing these certain yoga and pilates moves but really engaging your muscles in the way he teaches you. I could use a no equipment workout right now that REALLY works but is it that much different than finding a good yoga or pilates dvd? Carnie Wilson is the celebrity endorser. You'd want to believe that a celebrity would hopefully only endorse something that has worked for them in the manner the program was designed to do and not doing other things that help their progress without our knowledge. (Wow, that was a mouthful. :p ) Any thoughts?

BAM,

My heart rate does get elevated by power yoga. I wouldnt call it cardio exactly but it can be sweaty and work up an effect akin to doing a weighted-circuit with very short rest-breaks and mainly multi-joint movements like squats, lunges, chest press, pushups, rows.

I wonder if what he calls Dynamic resistance is similar to what Dara Torres swears by?

I wasnt inspired to try YRG. Seemed like too much style-fusion from the description. I wish he had clips of the actual workout. The infomercial clip had people doing moves from yoga with inelegant-ashtanga (style of yoga where you sort of "jump" but without impact from pose to pose) influence and some low impact cardio mixed in.

I'd recommend checking out Yoga-X from Tony's P90-X series too. I remember it as kick-butt but accessible yoga with a similar effect.
