I didn't watch the Oscars (hate that show) but I realized that I didn't watch a single one of the nominated movies. I've got kids so the most recent movie I've seen was Mall Cop. Was there one that you think I should see? I am a big Clint Eastwood fan but Changeling was a little on the disturbing side for me.

High School Musical 3!! Seriously, I was more excited to see this in the theater than my 2 DDs  Of course Zac Efron had nothing to do with my excitement :p

If you are a Clint Eastwood fan - you need to go see Gran Torino - that was an excellent movie! I know it was not a 2008 movie - but still - it is a great.

I found Changeling to be very good then they had to through that wrench into it that disturbed me to no end too. I just can't wrap my head around that being a true story it really makes me sick to think about it but that's the reality sometimes.

There was another movie that was like that, I think it was called Running Scared with Paul Walker, it was a good movie then out of no where there comes that couple who disturbigling kidnaps kids?

Best movie in 2008 for me would have to be Forgetting Sarah Marshal.

Hey, I think I'll go see that tomorrow. It is still playing here. It sounds like a true Clint movie only minus the cowboy hats. I still love Unforgiven. One of the best movies of all time!

I really thought "Gran Torino" was a 2008 movie. I really enjoy Clint Eastwood movies, and that one was no exception.

As far as other movies from last year, I enjoyed "Let The Right One In," "Vicky Christina Barcelona," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "I've Loved You So Long," (still surprised that Kristen Scott Thomas was not nominated for Best Actress for this one), "In Bruges," and "Man On Wire."

But my favorite movie of 2008 is "The Visitor." Rent it - you will not be disappointed.
