Yoga vs Pilates

I'm looking to add one of these practices into my current training. Which one is more effective for leaning out and toning
 
They both are good really; it also depends on the instructor.
I don't particularly care for Yoga but I enjoy Pilates so my suggestion is that you try them both and see which one you like!
 
I have done both and really prefer Pilates. It works the deep core muscles plus stretches are a big part of it. In my experience, finding a good, certified Pilates instructor is the key. I have yet to find a DVD that I like. Cathe's Pilates-based core workout on her STS core DVD is probably one of the best, but it's not very long.
