Xpress workouts- what was the trick

for those of you who saw some amazing results? Do you think it was the cardio? or the weights? I am referring to the loss of inches/weight. I realize that the tapes are a new workout style to shock the system but for those of you who have been doing rotations with the 6 pack what do you think has been the biggest influencing factor? I am waiting on the DVD's and this has crossed my minds a few times while I wait. Thanks for any input.

For me, CTX was a different style of workout than what I had been doing. I had been alternating heavy weight days (PS & MIS) with 60 - 90 minute cardio days (various Cathes, Tae Bo, Reebok). With the CTX rotation, it was cardio and weights together and the weight exercises used my muscles in new ways due to the different counts of reps (down 2 up 2, down 3 up 1 etc) I was able to lift fairly heavy with the PS tapes but when I first started CTX I couldn't lift nearly as much, especially with the barbell (although after a couple weeks of the rotation I was able to add weight). I did 2 body parts per day with CTX. My endurance has vastly improved. I wasn't trying to lose weight or inches, but my arms are certainly looking more cut and defined and I just feel so strong and healthy. I finished my 5 week rotation of CTX and have just started a 5 wk rotation similar to what I did before CTX (strength and cardio on alternating days, including Circuit Max and Cardio Kicks) and then I will return to CTX. I also try to add in some yoga occasionally. Anyway, that's my 2 cents for what it's worth. Good Luck - you're gonna love your DVDs!!! :D

I was on a roation before the CTX, using BM, TWV, MIS, Step Heat and MSB. I was doing cardio every day and lifting weights 3 times a week. During my CTX rotation, I did 2 tapes a day. The only thing I really did differently was make my lifting a split routine rather than working total body each lifting session. Right now I'm back on a total body lifting rotation using the same tapes as before and adding Step Works and IMAX. I'm wanting to order the PS Series come mid-month and go back on that split routine come Nov. It's the only thing that I did different so maybe that is what got me results. Either way, I looove those tapes!!! I hope you feel the same way when your DVD's come. Good Luck!!
