For anyone interested, this video is supposedly "on sale", $19.99 instead of $24.99, although it doesn't say that on the website.

Awhile ago I asked for kickboxing video suggestions. I really wanted a DVD and am hesitant to try the Powerstrike Millenium 3 DVD after reading about all the problems some of you have had (plus many of you liked the first two better). Somebody suggested Larry Lam and it got good reviews on the VF site, so I called customer service yesterday to find out if they have any plans of releasing the current video on DVD, or producing a new one. Nope. But when she (Mrs. Lam) told me the videos were on sale, I decided to get it, especially since I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Anyway, just wanted to share this if anyone was interested.

P.S. If somebody got this cheaper somewhere else, please don't tell me. I don't want to know...

The only place I've found it as at their website - studiokicks.com. (Someone once said Amazon sold it but I couldn't find it.) But as I said, I called the number listed and actually spoke to Mrs. Lam in order to get the sale price. It's long distance, which I get free on my cell phone, but if you don't, you might try emailing them at [email protected] to inquire about the sale price.

I got these tapes and want to thank "Skinny" if she's reading this for suggesting them. For my first kickboxing tape, I was pleasantly surprised. A great workout for days when I'm short on time and space, but still want to sweat. The bonus "lower body burn" tape was surprisingly effective. Even though it was short, I was sore for two days afterwards in a different way than I usually am from doing other lower body workouts. But, I hope Cathe comes out with some more cardio/kickboxing type workouts since she is my new favorite instructor. I just hope they don't take up too much space, that's why I didn't try Cardio Kicks. Anyway, just had to share...
