Xers........What a wonderful Wednesday!!!!

Why was my boss lurking so much today, goodness x(

Nancy: Your workouts are always awesome. Imax3 nice work, enjoy your day:)

WendyX Have a wonderful time, Take puter:)

Debra: Gotta be starting something, all this talk about ICEEE CREAMMMMMMMMMM B&J too OMG, I can smell it:+ :p

TraciX: You are so sweet:) When are you going to start your book?

SandraX: Wait one second missy, who said I was doing P90X who? oh I did, didn't I :7 :+ :p Truth is, main focus is on UB. I say go for it,

What it's Wednesday already. My official day off - but cleaned like a maniac, laundry, etc. Then went to the shoe store and purchased my new Nikes for the RT. He sold me runners. Yesterday I bought a pair of REebok walkers by mistake for cross trainers. I got those at one of those help ur self places. Mistake! Today I did like the big girls and had a salesman - yet he sold me runners. Do any of you use running shoes for step/cardio work?

I have all my new outfits purchased. I will feel good - even if I ain't perfect.:p

I did Body Max step routines and B&G floor work (too short) and core with the ball. I love how I look at Cathe wo's now. Tony taught me so much about form and now "killing" myself to be a mirror image of the instructor. It's makes for a more unique and enjoyable wo. I loved the way I could actually feel my abs while doing the wo now. IMO there is nothing like P90X. :7 I was afraid to leave Cathe to watch someone else, but now I love them equally.

I'm frustrated with my eating cycle. Totally nasty.

Love and hugs to all you wonderful x'ers. Sorry no time for personals, but I'll be back someday I promise.:7 Hope to do a solo ride tonight if the rain holds off. Ta, Ta:+

Swift AmyX, Don't use running shoes for step and other cardio because they don't have enough lateral support. Running shoes are meant to run straight ahead and that's about it:)
I guess it's time to find a new salesman:)LOL!I have been going through a rough eating patch as well but I'm trying not to stress about it because that creates an even bigger problem. You'll get back around to eating better.

DebraX, Hope your tummy is feeling better! If you don't get your workout in today there's always doubles tomorrow:)LOL:p You are the one who spurred me on to play with Meez:)

JeanetteX!!! (And NicoleX, too; I know you're watching ;) )

I'm almost speechless. I can't believe the tour this year. The winner is going to win by sheer process of elimination: the poor guy in the back who's not taking any banned substances. CRAZY!! I wonder if Rasmussun gets to keep his stage win today, as he was pulled by his team, and not because he tested positive (today).

And Team Cofidis, too. Who's left? I'm cracking up that a Discovery Channel member is now in the lead. Will they stop at nothing to win?!

Cheers,
SandraX

Okay...back with a short nap and my workout completed! I did KPC medium intensity drills plus all 3 combos plus stability ball abs. Now I'm hungry again!! GRRR! I have PUB tomorrow which I always enjoy. I think I am going to do this premix rotation and then go back to lifting heavy next month...I saw Cathe's June 07 rotation...so I think I will use it as a guide and modify it for my needs. Did I tell you guys I think I spotted a muscle in my arm the other day? It was just a glimpse out of the corner of my eye...but I'm sure it was there!

Forgot to tell you guys about my other wildlife...which let me say up front, I did not kill or maim! I was walking my friend out to his car last night, and I hear this squeaking noise..and I look to see a flipping bat flying around. Where the heck did I move?!?

Okay...onto some more personals....

Traci...You silly woman...You look fabulous! You will never look like a "dumpy old broad"...a fit tan broad....maybe!

Nicole...My tummy is a bit better...I think I finally expelled whatever was bothering me..LOL! I was definitely thinking of DH while I was doing KPC today.....I even thought about putting his picture on top of the TV so that I could aim at it...LOL!! Glad you are happy to be back with Cathe. I'm such a wimp when it comes to cardio..I always take unscheduled breaks! Isn't meez fun? All kinds of stuff to play with...I like changing mine up, too.

Cheryl...I still think their was an evil fairy on your shoulder making you weigh more!

Sandra...I really enjoyed my trips to Russia. If DH wasn't there, I'm sure it is somewhere I would have never thought to go...but now that I have been there I would suggest it as a great trip...especially for anyone who is into European history. It's amazing to me, though, the cultural differences there. I could write for hours about that...but won't bore everyone! You can see the Kremlin from DH's apartment. And there is this sculpture garden behind his building that has lots of old statues of Stalin...and other statues from that time in Russian history. But the most amazing and breath taking thing was St Basil's...which is the cathedral with the multi colored onion domes....I was walking down the street...looking up at the Kremlin, not really paying attention to where I was going...and I turned a corner and there was St Basil's up on a slight hill....It was an incredible sight. You definitely gave me a chuckle about grounding the scale!

TG...Tell that boss of yours to get busy doing his own work! Have fun with Ben and Jerry tonight!

SwiftyX...I'm with Nicole on the shoes...I tend to feel like my feet are being bunched up in the front of a running shoe while doing step. You might be bale to get away with them for kickboxing...and for strictly strength training...but that would be it....outside of running, of course.

Okay...think that's it for now...Waving to all the MIA Xers...Jeanette and Amy...hope you guys are well!

SandraX & JeanetteX, So sad:( Rasmussen missed only two tests but because there are two tests done at each appointment they are telling him he missed four. The limit is three missed tests before you are kicked out. I am so sad for the Tour. The credibility they have built up over the last 100 years is being dashed by fame hungry dopers. I hope they don't really leave Rasmussen out.

Hi all,
Today's workout was LIC Cardio Blast Timesaver and then the abs from LIC. Good workout. Have a hill climb competition tomorrow night after work so for sure I won't be doing B&G Overall Legs premix in the morning. Think I'll do that one on Friday and BMW Double Upper Body premix tomorrow instead.

Traci, LOL re: you thinking I'm a flawless golfer. I think I've only golfed like 2 times in my life, plus miniature golf. I picture it as a sport I maybe would like to devote time to as I get older. If I come home with one more hobby, DH would throw his hands in the air I'm sure. Had to postpone the ball hitting tonite but rescheduled for Friday after work. LOL re: promised fantasies with DH. They really are the weaker sex, aren't they? They seem to fall for it every time. Think I will probably do the 4 day split as is the first time. I'm liking the tougher intensity now with Cathe on this current rotation. Guess I've been slacking it with Christie, but I love her stuff too. I'm so disgusted with Rasmussen now as he was booted off today. And Vino, I can't even put my mind in his place and wonder why he did it. Idiotic. Thank you, too, for thinking of my parent's dog. Her name was Annie.

Sandra, the premix rotation has higher intensity in it than Christie's stuff of course, but it feels good. I need to increase my endurance. Yes, very tragic about my parent's dog. They had been told that she might not make it thru the surgery due to her age. Not sure they were very prepared for it when it came. I'm sure they are missing her big time. She was such a character and boxers have the most expressive eyes and face. I too am just so disappointed in Vino. Why in the world? I just can't comprehend a person doing that and thinking they will get away with it, ruining their credibility and all and all that suffering for nothing. Now Rasmussen being booted. I'm glad they are getting these guys though. The cake decorating course sounds really fun!!! I'll have to check out your new rainbow cake picture. It'd be the kiss of death to click on your Picture Trail before posting this reply. I'd lose it all.

Tracy, good workout and as usual, you are great about getting in the yoga. Occasionally, I add egg whites to my oatmeal and LOVE it that way too.

Anointed, glad you are liking the upper body pump from P90X. They are not easy workouts for sure. Wow, you've been working out for a long time. Me, I've only been working out for the last 4 years, riding bikes for the past 7 I think. We have something blocking certain websites at work. Can't get on this one or anything hobby related.

Laurie, so sorry about your facial. You made me think of the scene from Meet the Parents when he spikes the ball at the bride and hits her square in the nose and she has a bloody nose and black eyes. You are a tough lady and bet you impressed a lot of the folks. Glad you won one game anyway. I've always worked with lots of men. I worked at a sawmill for 11 years and then in Plant Operations at the prison with about 50 men. They were great to work with. Women stay mad at each other, the guys will have a problem with another and then later that day, you see them walking out to the parking lot together and laughing. Thank you for the nice word about my parent's dog. Boxers are great dogs. Wonderful personalities.

Debra, glad the stomach thing has worked it's way thru. My DH rarely gets sick but when he does, you'd think no one ever had anything as bad as him. I sure miss my massages, but will live vicariously thru yours. Thanks too about Mom & Dad's dog. Yes, she was a big part of their everyday routine. Way to go on the arm muscle sighting!

Wendy, oooooh you are getting a new computer. Mine still is hanging on. I think I bought it in 2001, it has Windows ME. Hope you get the new one soon. We miss you too much when you are gone.

Nicole, I'll have to try the Cardio Fusion Cardio Blast. Think it was Sandra that suggested doing the blasts only from Imax2 and I enjoyed it. I need to build up my intensity as I've been on vacation with Christie's lower intensity dancey stuff (though I love it). Yes, I'm in awe of Vino doing what he did. I just can't wrap my mind around why he would do it and lose everything he worked so hard for. I tell you, so many of these top athletes will never be role models as they will try to win at all costs. Yep, you and I are doing the same rotation. I am in Week One and will do BM2 Double Upper Body tomorrow and then the B&G Overall Legs on Friday due to my hill climb tomorrow night.

Cheryl, sorry about your weight. I've been avoiding the scale myself, only weigh about once a week anymore instead of daily. If I like what I see in the mirror, that motivates me more. I don't want to get too far from the scale though. I was bad today and had lots of M&M's from someone's candy dish at work.

Swifty, hope you got the solo ride in before the rain. I don't use runners for step, I use New Balance Cross Trainers.

Well, hope to talk to you all tomorrow night.

Jeanette
