P90X Doubles: Phase 1 / Week 3 / Day 4 Wed / Round 2
YOGA: YogaX- first 30 minutes + Brian Kest Beginners
(only 14 yoga requirements remaining !!!)
Doubles: Killer Kicks (low impact)

Previews of the new Sweatfest from Tracey Staehle… I didn’t buy step – got PLENTY of that!

The Kick & HiLo look different enough to keep me interested… Kick is 60min HiLo is 30
HiLo has 2 premixes…1 is an 18 minute all HiLo combos add on and one is a 44 minute KB Drills + HiLo. Looks OK- Not in love with the outfits but OH WELL!

Now Sculpt Sweatfest looks like it can get some good use. Actually 2 /30 minute workouts.
Section 1 is no equipment- starts with floor and moves to standing (I like that!)… Lots of planks, Abs, unique leg lifts and 1 rotator cuff exercise…. Standing is quads & hammies and butt.

Section 2 is all Standing – in intro she says its “Rehab & balance Focused” – stability ball, Bosu (don’t have one) lite weights, dips and stuff on ball.

Premixes look good on this one…
Belly Burner: 9 minute all ab routines
Balance Challenge: 18 minutes all balance work (bosu & sb)
Bottom Blast: 24 minute Lower (standing & Floor)
Burn It Up: 31 minute upper work (standing & Floor)

Core Conditioning DVD looks like a GREAT 48 minute Core Syn sub…Its nicely chaptered so you can pick and choose focus areas…lower back, lower abs etc… The only thing that I winced at in my very short actual listening time was she keeps saying OK- Its like she doesn’t know what to say to explain the moves… I can live with that tho…. This is actually a release from awhile back- I didn’t hear that in the Sweatfast stuff.

That’s it on my reviews until after I actually find a way to fit them all in…

All caught up on personals from yesterday with exception a few ….

~TeddyGirl~
Welcome back! Are you feeling alright? Missed you and thought of you all day yesterday.

~Debra X ~ Fantastic upper work you have planned today! Or were you doing it before bed last night? How is DD reacting to the house hustle bustle and moving?

~Jeanette X ~ Didn’t you say you had Tracey’s Core Conditioning? Don’t remember you saying much except that it was just OK I added that little extra weight work BEFORE Sh & Arms- it was actually about 2 hours later when I actually started Tony. If I wait til end I wont do it- kinda like ab work! How fun on making your own wine… I love visiting wineries…its actually my favorite thing to do… I think that comes from being a CA native tho… the best times & dates of my life were spent exploring wine country . Well I guess you have a few new DVDs of your own! How terrific… new stuff is da bomb! On SQUEEZE-I have an 8# medicine ball… Do I need something different? Oh and I have the 1# ball that came with Speedbody. Oh shoot- more equipment?

Happy Day to all Xers! Bring It!

Classic/Phase 1/Week 1/Day 7
KenpoX today

Oh, the hammies and glutes are singing a not-so-happy tune, but one that makes me happy}( ! It's nice to find a workout that doens't require any weights to light weights at all to still get a good burn. I wasn't able to do all 25 of the exercises and stopped at 20 of a lot of them. It give me room to grow, right? Anyway, I've Kenpo several times late last year, but haven't done it since the new year, so it will be like an old friend coming over to visit this afternoon.

From the looks of it, SQUEEZE takes a 10" soft ball, yes, like the ones we used to use in dodge ball in elementary school. I will wait until I get mine to make sure. I don't have a medicine ball and don't have any plans to get one until absolutely necessary,

I hear you about Tracey's new stuff. I liked the different sections on the Sculptfest where you don't have any weights. It was a bit confusion later when she added the Bosu, and the medicine ball, and the stability ball, but didn't offer any modifications for those who don't have the Bosu. I'm not about to go out and fork $100 out for some thing that I will use in just one workout. (Of course if I got it, I'd figure out different ways to use it!.....I know that time is coming, I just don't have to room for any new equipment now!) I almost sent my DH into an apoplexy when I told him that I ordered Barry's BootCamp!

Hello,

Happy Wednesday!

My surgery went well, I will know in 4 days what’s going on with my liver. Pray!

I tell ya, I am a big baby every time I wake up from surgery I always cry:-( don’t laugh. My side was in so much pain they gave me pain medicine it did help. My X BF took real good care of me yesterday KFC & Pizza,:9:9 didn’t mind I was hungry.I am still sore, hurts when I move.

So much for P90X ARGH………I could cry! My doctor, I still can hear him in my head DO NOT WORKOUT for at least 3 days I was like huh! But, I told my doctor I can not wait that long so he said at least 2 days. I will give that.

Last workout for me was Tuesday morning L&G, before surgery. What I am going to do is this CLEAR my calendar and RE-start, there goes that word again RE. What else can I do? Back later.

Morning Xers,

Doubles: Ph1/Wk3/Day3/Rnd2

Last night was busy, but I did manage to get all of PlyoX in. I did 1/2 of it, picked oldest DD up from track. Dropped her off and went to youngest DD dance rehersal. Came home and ate something, let that digest and headed downstairs to finish the rest of plyoX. I started out with the first section of Strike Zone. Didn't want to start PlyoX cold. :)

Traci, the first portion of Strike Zone I really liked, just have to get familiar with her style. And I just previewed slightly the second section, and that one looks like it will be great. Thanks for the recommendation. :) I purchased Tracey's cardio sweatfest. I haven't previewed yet, but I really like KB. So I'm sure I will like this one too.

Amy, Legs and Back is a sneeky workout. Including the sneeky lunges. :) You think that you are not working your legs very hard, but even now it amazes me that I get so sore.

Jeanette, Congrats on paying off your house. We have a bit longer to go on ours, but I am really looking forward to that day.

Debra, Thanks for the DVD, I was almost going to replace PlyoX with that one. Maybe I will when I'm ready for a light day of plyo. :)

Lea, I have been trying to check back on some posts. Do I need to send you money for the shirt? Let me know.

BBL for more,

Laurie

Doubles/ Phase 3/ Week 3/ Day 3: Shoulders & Arms; ARX

Good morning! We've grown again, I see!

Welcome Jess!

Amy - I think it's exciting that you are so devoted to fitness. I wonder where you'll be 4 years from now? Instructing, maybe? Making videos? So glad you liked LB, and find it very challenging. Since you have to do it every Friday for the next 3 months, it's good to have room for improvement. It will keep you motivated when the going gets routine and boring in the middle.

LaurieX - You are to be applauded for planning to do PlyoX split up. I would find it very hard to only get part way through a cardio, then resume again later. Some days you just have to do what you have to do to get it done, but it would bug me nonetheless. Two more years and DD gets a license! My goodness. Is she saving up her pennies to buy a car?

JeanetteX - OMG are you still celebrating??? That was an AMAZING day you had yesterday! You must feel so relieved to have the weight of all that debt off your shoulders. With your living expenses dropping so dramatically, what will you do with your income now? Travel to France and ride the Tour route? DH rode his bike to work for the first time on Monday. He's hoping the streets get cleaned up enough that soon he can get the road bike off the trainer, too. So what was in the package?? Cathe.com has great customer service! I'm glad they're replacing your dvd.

TraciX - NO, you're NO WIMP my friend, that's for sure!! You're workout yesterday left me dizzy. Why oh why did you feel the need to add extra weight work to SA?? And did you do ALL of Drillmax??? You crazy woman! I hope you hurt today! The horse blow didn't even phase me in Round 1. Don't know why it's irritating me so much in Round 2. Well, now I KNOW we're related! You described my family peeeeeerfectly yesterday! The only thing you left out was suicide. Just found out another one of my aunts has been hospitalized for depression/break down, and she's the one I thought was the most stable!!! Even do one round of PlyoX?! NOPE!! Seriously, I am very, very tired of that workout. Maybe in a year....

LeaX - DH going on the field trip with DS? Now there's a novel idea! How'd it go? Did DH come home wishing for more children? :p What did you sub for PlyoX yesterday?

DebraX - How do you prevent yourself from binging on junk food after that yoga workout? The power of suggestion would have me running to the fridge!! I can't even imagine all the organizational/paperwork stuff you have to do for this move. Good luck with all that! I'm envious that you can afford movers. That makes it sooo much easier.

Well, I'll have to come back later to finish the chats. Time to get the DD's ready for the day. Yesterday I had one of those days I mentioned last week: my day was "free" until I got a couple of phone calls mid-morning, just before my workout. Suddenly my workout time became truncated, and the rest of my day completely filled up. If my life were a bottle of pop, it's as though someone shook me, then opened me up. So, my plans to do BM2's Scrambled Eggs premix got tossed, and instead I did the original BM's step and circuit sections, topped off with HSTA cardio-only. Great workout; high intensity cardio with mucho plyo-type moves scattered throughout. The eating went great.

Okay, really have to go now. BBL! I hope the rest of you are doing well.

SandraX

Good morning everyone,

Today's workout called for Legs & Glutes and then some abwork from MIS. Well, I don't like doing weighted leg work so subbed with GS Legs (floorwork only, repeating the outer thigh work), and then subbed the abs in MIS (cuz I don't own that one) with Slow & Heavy planks and abs. I paid close attention to the contraction part of each crunch. Makes a difference. Anyways, it was a nice workout. I'm anxious to get my Squeeze DVD too. Maybe soon.

Oh yeah, OD'd on microwave Orville Reddenbacher popcorn last night while watching The Prestige so am puffy today, but hey, you got to celebrate sometime.

Debra (thank you, thank you) sent me some new DVD's that I want to preview. Can't wait to do that! Saturday.

Traci, your new DVD's sound good. I really need to pull out Tracey's Core Conditioning. Maybe I'll shorten Rhythmic Step tomorrow and do a segment from Core Conditioning. Yep, I can do that. I would absolutely love to go visit some wineries with you!!! Now wouldn't that be a hoot!!! I really need to start that wine, everything is in the box to do and Mom would so like it if I did it.

Amy, glad you are feeling the burn. I loved that in P90X I got good workout and no barbell hoisting. I've really not returned to any real weighted leg work. Just doesn't work for these stubby limbs. I'm reading on the Hardcores that the Fluidity and other workouts like that are really helping Lorajc and she worked so hard with the weighted leg work. I think a lot of us are in that boat, just depends on your body type. Anyway, P90X brought that home for me for sure.

Teddygirl, so glad you are doing ok. We were all thinking of you yesterday. Please don't push the workouts too soon. You really need to heal. KFC & Pizza, glad you enjoyed it, you went thru a lot.

Laurie, glad you enjoyed Strikezone. Boy, that Traci sure got a bunch of us to buy that one. It is a good one for the money for sure. Wish the colors weren't so bright. Red pants. Feels good to have the house paid off. Guess it's been just about exactly 20 years paying on this house. Think we bought at a good time, feel so sorry for the younger ones having to buy when prices are so high. Can't see how you can do it with only one income, both parties just about have to work any more.

Sandra, it snowed yesterday afternoon and we have about an inch on the ground here. Hope it all melts away today. We sure need the moisture out here in the west.

Jeanette

Hi Sandra,

Sorry your schedule got scrambled yesterday. That's a tough one. I hear that HSTA is a toughie. I don't own that one. Glad you enjoyed the workout and that's wonderful that your eating was so good. I OD'd on popcorn last night AND some potato chips. Okay, no more salty stuff today. Think I ate everything in the house that's salty. Reminds me, when my sister was growing up, she loved salty things. She'd go out to the garage and sneak rock salt and eat quite a bit of it. She'd eat it until she'd throw up. To this day, she still likes pickle juice, olive juice. I was never THAT bad, but I do like my salty chips and salsa. I think with the lesser living expenses, I'll put more into my 401K at work and probably buy a new garage door. This one is so rickety. I hate shoving it up and down. Actually, DH's job is a little iffy right now. I hear the plant is for sale. I really wouldn't be surprised if they close it soon. They are having a really hard time getting wood chips in to fuel the boiler. He has other job options so that part I'm not too worried about. Know we'll be okay as he's pretty skilled, though getting a little longer in the tooth. He'd like to work for another 4 years before retiring.

Oooh, just checked the clock, I've got to scram and get into the shower!!

Jeanette

Ha! It looks like I didn't give my workout for today. I'm thinking everyone can guess since I'm doing P90X. Shoulders & Arms, B&G Stability Ball Abs, and 2 Mile Run. Well I guess the abs and the run are different. :D

Sandra, I was looking back and saw your description of your DD's mishap. I'm right there with you. My oldest DD fell down our basement stairs twice. x( She was pushing a cart and the door was left open. And one time she was jumping on her bed, and hit her head on the headboard. Needless to say I had a child that looked like a Klingon, and people wondered what I had done to the child. This is the one that is now 14 and turning out to be a good kid. Maybe getting knocked in the head helped. :) As far as driving, she wants to drive DH's 1968 442 Convertible. Like that is ever going to happen.:)

As for my youngest, she had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. She was running from one end of a bunk bed to another. Must have forgotten to stop because she ended up inside a toy box, and a toy split her head open. :) See the authorities haven't gotten me yet!!!! :D :D :D

Jeanette, Ya, I was blinded by the pants too. And I kept looking at the lady with the baseball hat on too. Was she trying to be incognito? Or maybe the lights whre too bright shining off the red pants. :7 :7

Teddygirl, You take it easy. Pizza and KFC, got to love both of those. :9

Laurie

Hi ladies..Just stopping by quickly before I head back to bed for a nap! I have finally caught DD's cold and I feel like donkey poop today...Just tired and groggy and my throat hurts...etc...no fun, but I will survive...I should still be able to workout, but I probably won't do it until this afternoon...Just wanted to stop by and say hello...No time for personals right...will catch up with everyone this afternoon...just want to send some {{{{HUGS}}}} to Teddygirl...Hope you are feeling better...and and keeping you in my thoughts today!

Okay...my eyes are closing as I type...must get some more rest!

ta-ta for now!

Morning ladies. Rest day for me today. I think I may do the stretch workout tonight, but we'll see how much time I have. Still kind of dreading C&B tomorrow, but I know it's good for me, so I'll suck it up.:7
Well, I had my weigh in this morning. Down 2.5 pounds... woo hoo. I've been working really hard to stick with the Phase 1 eating. I'm actually surprised that I have noticed no decrease in energy with the reduction in carbs. I may feel differently in a couple weeks, but for now it seems to be working for me.

Teddygirl - You just take it easy and let your body heal. You will know when it's time to get back into it. Tony will be waiting when you are ready.

Katie

Good morning, Xers!! Thank you so much for the warm welcome to your wonderful thread!! You ladies move about as fast as the Cheetahs, I don't think I can keep up!! But I did want to post that I did Shoulders & Arms plus ARX y'day. Loved it!! I happily went a bit heavier than I thought, thanks to the gym styles again!! And I'm happy to report that my dh did it at 7:45 last night, and that was after coaching (and doing lots of running!) for an hour of soccer for my dd's team. I'm so proud of him that he's taking this journey with me!

And.... I successfully completed my first full YogaX!!! All 90 minutes of it. I've done some Baron Baptiste & Bryan Kest so I am not a yoga newbie, but I enjoyed it. (maybe I'm the only one?? }( ) Feelin' great after that!

So.... Phase 1/ Week 1/ Day 4 is done!! I did upload my pics, but am not sharing them until I have some progress to share!!

Good morning everyone. Fabulous morning ain't it;-) ? I totally(yeah, that's right, I'm from l.a.) subbed all of the BodyMax 2 cardio for plyo yesterday and my legs are feeling it. YOWZA!! Today is ARX and shoulders and arms. Yippee.

Jeanette, Debra, and Traci, I received your money, so thank you.

Off to get DS ready for school. Talk to you all later?

Most people now use non-sedating antihistamines: astemizole (Hismanal), loratadine (Claritin), fexofenadine (Allegra) and cetirizine (Zyrtec). They block what are called H1 receptors in tissue. If these medications don't help, the antihistamines cimetidine or ranitidine may be added; they block H2 receptors. The combination of the two types of blockers sometimes provides better relief. Treatment must be individualized and monitored under close medical supervision

Hi all,

Today I am going to try to watch Oprah at 4 and do my upper body workout while I’m watching it. She is going to be at VA Tech. The gunman lived about 20 minutes from where I live. It’s still difficult to comprehend that someone could be so deranged and pull off something so horrific.

So anyway, I guess I’ll be doing my own thing, since I’ll be watching tv. Then it will be a 2 mile walk with a tiny bit of jogging and then of course yoga; probably Kest or magically hips as I spent 1.5 hours with Shiva yesterday. The increased flexibility is keeping my muscles from tightening up and being able to cramp, which causes lack of oxegen and then pain. It's like a natural muscle relaxer. If anyone needs to know the physiology of pain in muscles, I've learned a lot!

I just want to thank everyone who is buying the new workouts. It is saving me a lot of money because I don’t have to be my own guinea pig. I thought that the new Tracey kickbox looked pretty good on the preview, but I didn’t like the looks of the hi/lo that went with it. Is it worth buying just for the kickbox?

Traci – Are you sure you are not overdoing it? Yesterday’s workout seemed like overkill.

Jeanette – I have salt cravings right before TTOM. I never salt food until then, and then I always find myself reaching for the salt shaker, and of course eating popcorn almost daily. I love HSTA. It is worth getting if you don’t have it. It has great premixes.

Sandra – Sorry your workout plans got changed, but it looks like you improvised with something just as good. I can’t wait for the day when I too can do that kind of workout again.

Amy – glad you liked L&B. I always looked forward to that one because I could do the most unassisted pull/chinups.

TeddyGirl – Did I read correctly that you have hepatitis C? I hope you can keep that under control. Take care of yourself, maybe a little pampering is in order.

Laurie – You are much more dedicated than I. There is no way that I can split up a workout. Well, I guess if there is no other choice, but I would not be a happy camper. How is your daughter?

Katie – Great job on the weight loss. I think that once your body acclimates to less carbs it’s OK.

Debra – Sorry you got the cold, it’s almost inevitable when a little one gets sick. Take care of your self.

Jess – Congratulations on finishing almost week. It gets easier, and harder, and easier, and boring and thrilling at the end when you graduate.

BBL,

Tracy

Oh please stop the talk about KFC and Pizza!!! I haven't had KFC in years because it's my all time top comfort food, but I have yet to find a single redeeming quality about its nutritional level. But I'm in PMS mode, and if a chicken were to cross my path today, I'd carry it to the KFC myself for breading and frying.

TraciX - how're the cramps, etc. today? I hope you're feeling better? You know, I actually own Plyo Legs. Maybe one day I might even take the wrapping off. I know what it's like to spend hours "working" and only end up with a few sentances. And then to go back the next day and delete the sentances. I've deleted entire chapters before. Writing can be hard, when you actually have to stick with facts and true information. Thanks for the detailed review of your new workouts. What do you mean, "only 14 yoga requirements to go"? Does this have to do with your certification? I'm impressed you did the first 30 mins of YogaX!

Teddygirl - so glad you made it through the biopsy surgery. I can understand why you would cry when you come out of anaesthesia. That stuff does a number on your central nervous system. Yes, please take the few days off the doctor suggests. P90X will still be here when you get back. Frankly, I don't think you should start all over again, just pick up from where you left off. If we all restarted every time something interrupted us, we'd never finish! 90 days is a long time to go without rotation interruptions. I just read what you wrote about Hep C. I'm so sorry. So very, very sorry.

Wendy - Hello! So you're feeling stronger already, are you? Great! Wait until after you're recovery week - that's when the real muscle strengthening happens. I don't punish children very well, can't you tell? Mine apparently run circles around me. I'm just into the adult stuff ;) My mouth is hanging open from the story about the nude rider! Some people are so bizarre! I'm glad DD didn't hurt herself when she went through the window. That's very scary. With 6 children you must have all kinds of mishaps, but I won't make you confess them here in writing, where the lawyers can print them off. My first unassisted chin up was, well a standard chin up. I think I started off being able to do 1 1/2. I would hop off the floor for the first one to get me started (1/2), then do a full one (1), then put my foot on the stool and do the rest. As time went on I was able to increase my count to 6. That's still my highest number of consecutive, unassisted chins. But I can do a fair number of sets of those. One workout I tallied up 28 unassisted chins throughout the whole thing. It was my last round of Legs & Back, I think. Now that I'm in my second round of the X, I've started to be able to do unassisted pull ups, as well. I can 1-2 of the wide-grip in a go, and 3-4 standard width, on a good day. So, keep trying, because eventually it happens. One technique that really works to help make you stronger is to jump your way to the top of the chin up, and slowly lower yourself down on a 6-count. When you can do about 6 of those, increase the down-count to a 10-count. When you can do a number of those, you're probably strong enough for a full chin up. I would sub those for one round of Tony's chin ups. You're experience with PlyoX is exactly what the rest of us experienced! It seems "easiest" the first week. I think as the weeks go on, the effects of all of these workouts accumulate. Also, those of us carb-depriving ourselves in Phase 1 weren't as fueled up for all that jumping. The good news is, you get a week away from it now! Woohoo! Holy smoley your dinner last night sounded delicious!! If we have an X-er get together, I nominate you as the chef!!

Katie - Yup, KenpoX does seem easy, comparatively speaking. As you get more familiar with it you will be able to put more effort into the moves, and if you make a really concerted effort to concentrate on your core, the feeling of intensity will increase. A number of us began using weighted gloves, which really makes a difference. In Phase 3, I began tacking on Cathe's KickMax Blast Challenge. It worked well. Clothes fitting better already   Wonderful!

TracyX - please share your Shiva Rea's matrix that was so good yesterday. I think I want to do Yoga Shakti on Thursday, and could use a good plan. Ah, you're smart! I'm so glad you questioned the physician's advice and are going a different route! No, no funny kids stories of late. Unless you count DD#2 crawling into the basket on the bottom of her stroller and getting stuck there. I had to pull her out by her ankles.

Swifty - Is it here yet????

JeanetteX - you made me laugh about LG having too much weighted leg work! There isn't a barbell in the whole workout, so I always consider it more of a FreeStyle approach! Light dumbells and high reps; kind of like LB! If mw popcorn and a few chips is how you celebrate, then you have a lot to learn. Come visit me, and I'll show you how to "celebrate" ;) Actually, I suggest you go to Wendy's. She's got the recipes for a party! I really like HSTA. The cardio-only premix is 12 minutes of blasts. Quick and dirty high intensity cardio. You probably won't be thrilled with the lower body work, as it uses the barbell. But if you like leg presses, this is the workout to own.

LaurieX - thank you for sharing your DDs' mishaps. That makes me feel better. So far we haven't had to call an ambulance. We did make a trip to the ER a couple years ago when my 18lb barbell that was propped upright against the wall got knocked over and cracked DD#1 in the forehead. They glued her head back together.

Okay, time to go do Shoulders & Arms, and ARX. Might sub ARX today, don't know yet.

Cheers,
SandraX

Good Afternoon,

Today is my rest day. I think I'll try the X-Stretch finally. If this coming week wasn't my recovery week, I'd do a make up lesson for yoga. Last night, dh and I did Kenpo without shoes. BTW, I kept my shoes on for Plyo. Can I just say that Phil scares me. His form is ALL over the place! I'm constantly nagging him to watch out that he doesn't hit the tv or me by accident. Last night, I flat out told him that his form sucks! I know it's harsh and direct, but it was an honest observation. Well, it worked because he tightened up his form noticeably. It's not the best, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for his fist to hit Tony in the tv. We can't have that now, can we?

I attempted to do a little of Cathe's Butts & Guts, butt part only. After the warm-up and barbell one legged lunge, I fast forwarded to the firewalkers. LOL How's that for my first attempt. Why do I always want to do what I know isn't the best for me? I know deep down inside that weighted leg workouts make me bulky, yet I am drawn to doing them. My question is, What will I do on the Road Trip???? Do I not use weights for lower body? Will I look like a wimp and let my fellow X'ers down? I have some serious pride issues! sigh

I'm so tired and worn down today. It's my sinuses. Took two sudafed and two advil. Hopefully, this throbbing headache will go away soon so I can go shopping for my twin dds. Being the babies of the family, you'd think they would have a lot of hand me downs from their older sister. Since they are ectomorphs (skinny, long limbed) like their father, most clothes make them look like their from a 3rd world country. Their sister is built like me. They can only wear her outgrown dresses and shirts.

Tracy-X: Your post snuck in between my rambling personals yesterday. Glad you listened to your gut instinct and not that doctor! It was a HARD lesson for me to learn when my twins were having feeding problems. I always thought doctors knew it all. NOT! Good for you for researching and knowing what's best for your body! Ahh, please don't give me a ticket, Officer. I promise I'll do YogaX in its entirety tomorrow. Considering I was only planning on doing half (the easy half), wouldn't that count? ;-) Hope you are feeling 100% today!

Swift Amy: Your X HAS to come today!!! Since you used to work at UPS, do you have any contacts? Could you call them up and put a move on things? Or show up at the local center in Daisy Dukes? ;-)

Traci-X: I have to wonder if I'll find any magic appear during my recovery week. I'm so tired the week prior to TOM. Does that stand for "that time of month"? This is my PMS week. So, I'll probably be bloated until the end of my recovery week. Is that TMI? LOL Just wanted to make my excuses now before I take my end of Phase 1 pictures. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! I DID go deeper and longer in L&B. My legs have fatty coated muscle! I didn't get any DOMS this week in my legs. Now, my back, biceps and triceps are a different story. They are still sore! Stop encouraging me to be direct and honest. I need to be banned from public places!!! Thankfully, my girls weren't with me during the grocery store incident. I'm sure they see my flaws enough as it is. Yeah, the things that I'm teaching them! LOL

Debra-X: Thanks for explaining the nectar covered hips to me. Eion Finn sounds like he's sharing a little too much information on what he's thinking! ;-) When is your dh scheduled to return home? Maybe, y'all can do yoga together with Eion. Hey, that's not a bad idea. I think I'll get Finn's yoga for Phil and me. }(

Jeanette-X: I love reading your late night posts. Fluidity comes with a rubber ball. Not that I'm encouraging you... just saying. I don't think I have much weight to lose, but I could stand to gain some muscles and cardiovascular increases. I think I'm small framed because I don't look skinny. I start looking skinny when I get below 105 pounds with clothes on. It's been awhile since I've seen those days. I think you're right about less cardio. I lost over 8 pounds since Jan. when I first started Cathe's Basic Step. Then I just sort of plateaued (sp? Yeah, I homeschool!) :7 Anyhow, my main goal is to get strong enough to do Cathe's advanced w/o for the Road Trip. I'm really worried that I'll be the weakest link. That's good that you're already conditioned to jump into the triathlon's bike portion. Hopefully, everything will get set in place and it'll be a go! I remember you telling me about your sisters homeschooling. Your dd does too? Did I read that correctly? I would love to do a pull-up. You are so NOT lazy!!!! You could probably do a pull-up if you had a bar. That settles it! I'll bring my P90X chin-up bar to the Xer party at your house. :) Did you find the cookies to make the crumbs for the cheesecake yet? I suggest you start looking now and talking to store managers now!

I'm caught up on yesterday's late night personals. BBS for todays. Gotta get some coffee, DDc of course! I drank yesterday's leftovers. YUCK! Yeah, I'm addicted! ;-)

Love yourself ballistic hugs to all!

Okay who’s ordering Sugar Ray Leonard & Laila Ali Kick box workout? I really wish they quit it sooooooo many workouts duh!x(

I have not ordered hip hop yet, hearing bad reviews, I shall seex(

TracyX I’ve had H-C for over 25 years I was diagnosed with it years ago, when I was working at Ford Motor’s . Back than, was not a lot of information as to where it come from. The most command was using a dirty needle, I told my doctor I don’t do needles, still till this day don’t know where it came from. But, this doctor explained it better, various ways of getting HC or it can just happen from something doc said about blood.

To be honest, I forgot I had it until recently I seen a new doctor, just for routine check up, who done every blood test known to man, anyway she seen H C in my blood and from there things blew up again. She sent me to specialist, this doctor requested more blood testing but overall he said from 1 to 10 10 being the worst I am at a 2 which is good, flax oil, vitamins exercise got me this far. My last visit my doctor told me they now have a cure for HC but, I’d have to stay on meds for a year. I told him NO meds, been doing just fine.

Then he said to me, at least get a liver biopsy to see how scared my liver is, I said okay, I owe that to myself, so this is where I am. So pray that liver is doing fine and not scared. But, if really scared bad than I have to consider meds. But, now I’m good.

Have a sick (flu bug) DH home today and sleeping in my workout area… Will get it all in – probably split up – as he gets up to wander about.

Sandra & Tracy- ROFL- I didn’t do THAT much yesterday… must have written it wrong! All I did was BM Sh-Bi Tri + SH & Arms (My weights aren’t heavy enough anymore so I needed the reps!) then I did ABS only from BM2 and ABS ONLY of DM …. I did Plyo Legs just the plyo moves ( like 16 minutes) to make up for a less than vigorous Plyo X earlier in week…. Barely took any time or effort at all.

~Laurie X~ I have learning curves with anything not Cathe after doing her exclusively for so long… I figure the extra brain work will burn more calories! Heck girl I can hardly determine whats on my workout for the day let alone yours! All I ever can count on is that whatever is on your list will somehow get done! I tip my hat!!! Tell your DD she has terrific taste in cars! OMGosh on the childrens injuries! You guys are killing me with these stories… SHOOT- even I could have done THAT kind of parenting- ROF

~Debra X ~ LOL- You and the poop- Your dog eats poop, and you feel like poop! Take care of yourself today – you’re going to need the rest.

~Jeanette X ~ ROF about subbing floor work! I think you are one of the few that considers that the less of 2 evils! Great ab work too! Popcorn Puff- sounds like a new kids treat! Oh we’d have a ball doing the wineries together! Someday my friend – someday! I too have been reading all about Lorajc leg transformation… makes perfect sense based on what we bottom lovin ladies found with first X round doesn’t it? I am just too excited now that I have some DVDs that are along those lines. So happy I never ordered a big girl barbell! You crack me up about the bright red pants in SZ! I guess I am zoning in all my workouts – Sandra hears things I SWEAR are not on my dvd’s & you see things I never notice!

~Sandra X~ ROFL- hope you hurt today- GEEZ! Actually I’m barely warm and toasty …. I was certainly MUCH more sore round 1…. Got my 2# wrist weights tho and I am READY for Phase 2! I want to be sore and watch those muscles grow dang it! So WE ARE RELATED! I just knew it!!!! Every familys got to have at least one BRAIN in the pack and mine seems to lack that! Does attempted suicide count? I have an uncle that’s been trying for 40 years! He is the caretaker for my Aunt w/ Alzheimer’s! Its an HBO movie in the making! I watched Six feet Under 3 or 4 times and thought that it was similar to my family! RE: “If my life were a bottle of pop, it's as though someone shook me, then opened me up” ROFLMAO! I so want your mind! 14 more Yogas to complete X ! LOLOLOL I am counting down all the w/outs this time- makes me feel like I’m making progress! Cramps are HELL still… today should be last day of pain tho. ROFL “Writing can be hard, when you actually have to stick with facts and true information” You are PRICELESS!

~Lea X~ ya – You “TOTALLY” subbed and left me all alone with Plyo X this week…. Just for that you do it TWICE next week! Man- what am I going to do with all this subbing in round two? Is Laurie the ONLY one doing it exactly again? … are we frauds???? – So far I’m only subbing Yoga but he(( I did that Round one!!!

~Tracy X~
I’ve got Oprah in TiVo today so I don’t miss it… My heart is still in the bottom of my stomach… I just walk around shaking my head… DH gets irritated because I just cant shake it off but I’m about on overload with events of past 10 years…. LOL on the new workouts…. I need to make yet another confession to you…… This morning I made a few purchases…. THE LAST OF NEW WORKOUTS UNTIL MY CC IS PAID OFF! I will not even list it all – I’ll just be chatting it up one day about something and I know YOU will catch that’s it’s a new one!

~Swifty~ Welllllllllllllllllll??????????????

~Katie~ Happy rest day!!!! Lordy – down 2 #s already… OK I’ll stop eating cra* (wink wink)

~AMY~ I LOVE not lugging around heavy weights for legs too! AMAZING what certain moves can accomplish without all that stuff! I STILL only do 20 of 25 reps on some weeks- I get ZAPPED by X near recovery weeks in Phase 2 & 3. ROF about DH & apoplexy!

~TeddyGirl~
Hope you tossed the leftover KFC/Pizza! You gotta keep your X figure for those recovery week photos…… NO Laila Ali workouts for me… I think she sneers at people on Dancing with Stars! Shes not getting my money! (this week at least)

~Wendy~ ROF about Phil’s form & sucking! ROFL I bet you two make the funniest couple! Sorry about the sinus meds and how they are making you feel… I try my dangest to not take any of that stuff- ya just got to tho sometimes. TOM- Yep you guessed it! Smart girl for sure. I saw your pics- you DO NOT have fatty coated muscles! No negative self talk or Lea will kick us both in the boooooooo-tay

~ Jess: ~^ 5 on getting your entire requirement fulfilled already! So happy you loved your workout today.. makes the whole day flow so much better! You and Sandra X are the only two TONY Yoga lovers I think… I am learning to appreciate Yoga but I am not athletic enough for Tony… I like more zen stuff anyway… I’ll sell ya my Yoga X DVD real cheap just for a back-up!

My tummy hurts from all the belly laughs this morning... that or the fact I've had to go potty for an hour but ya'll kept posting!

hugs to all

Sat down to read today's personals with my fresh cup of java. Took a sip and YUCK, Sputter, Cough, Choke! They put SUGAR in my coffee. x( x( x( x( x( I'm restraining myself from being honest and direct. Deep breath. Exhale. Can you hear me breath now Tony? 1..2..3......10

Didn't work. ;(

I did read today's chatter. :) I figure since I'm jetting out the door for my free replacement coffee, I'll take the girls shopping for summer attire. BBL for today's personals.
