Morning Gang! So exciting! most of you are in final few days of Monster Week! So is anyone getting excited to really bring it?

My inner thighs & booty & quads are talking this morning!:7 YES theres magic in Plyo moves for me...

Today is Pilates Abs by Jennifer Kries & MS Core Cardio. Its very similar to Core Syn so its not my personal fav ... but hey- if it works its worth the 30 minutes to just do it!

Lets clear the record on my workout yesterday folks.... I am not the wonder woman I have mis-led you to believe I am! lolol
Imagine writing down all the exercises in Plyo X. Divide them evenly into 3 sections. Day 1 of legs is just the first third of plyo X (1 set). day 2 is the second group and Day 3 is the final group. Do the same thing for each of the Tony DVD Lower moves. Now you have about 26 moves that are just preselected from a variety of workouts. Its only about 50-55 minutes total (just like Plyo X as produced) but the variety is more intense.
Just like doing 5 moves from GS Legs, 5 from L&G, 5 from B&G etc....
See.... arent ya much less impressed now! :+

Debra; Your "nap" yesterday sounds more like torture to me! Once I FINALLY get a chance to actually sleep I am 1 mean bear if disturbed. Hope Kenpo actually occured and that dog is smelling sweet as a flower! (MINE ALL STINK! We only groom in the summer as w/ 3 large ones its almost 250.00 to have them shaved and bathed!)

TRACY X: The lecture you attended sounded very interesting! Is it by the hospital or school? I'm sure a lot of parents & teachers attend and benefit greatly from the de-mystifying of that condition. Dont ya just wish all the stereo types would go away so people can move on & get help without all the "stuff"?

Lea X: LOL on dreaming it all up about shirts! Now that would be a sign of how much you loved the X experience!... Yes we started some dialogue but you havent missed out on anything yet! We'd never let you get out without at least 1!!! So what do I get to buy when I've completed X/2???? Do we graduate to diamond bracelets with XXXXX on it?

Monica: Yep I'm chuckling right there with you & Sandra about the "quit" terminology! I always felt the need to cleanse my soul when I missed a certain X workout too... Funny how we all take it to heart tho- I think thats what makes this group special, it really is important to each of us to do it the right way. Congrats on the new sneakers! I too am a New Balance fan... I keep trying others and always end up with NB in my closet. Rykas just pinch my baby toes... I wear them but have to rotate shoes every day so I dont develop sensitive spots. Had to LOL at your doggie comments! Everytime I scrub the floors really good (not often!) within 3 or 4 hours one of the dogs has left their mark and I say the same thing! Maybe thats why I dont scrub often???? CELIAC - Cant BELIEVE that wasnt one of the first tests run! Thats fairly common now... My DH's business partner was just diagnosed after a year of suffering. He made diet adjustments & does really well most of the time. High stress levels do trigger it as well for him.

JEANETTE: LOL- I'll shoot you over my spreadsheet on Legs.. OF COURSE I have a spreadsheet! lolol ^^^5 on family room being completed! Thats got to be a great sense of accomplishment for you! Also happy your last day in department wasnt too terribly sad. Sounds like you are eager for your change! Does today feel like the first day of school? Knockem dead out there and if anyone messes with you well......YOU JUST FLEX THOSE TRICEPS!..... Now that I started plugging X back in a bit I am SERIOUSY looking for the VooDoo Doll! First time around I was just to focused on not throwing myself off during workouts... Times have changed...I am comfy with heavy weights now so I have a mission to spot that little guy!

Great day to all !

Ok - Is today an X'er holiday & ya didnt tell me???????}(

Workout accomplished abs nice and warm but we shall see! Core Cardio was difficult for me- can tell its been awhile since X. Pilates Abs pretty good warmth but could have been because I was already warm from Core Cardio. ANYWAY.... Hope everyone is OK this morning.

CL/PH3/WEEK4/Day3: Back & Biceps; ARX

Good morning,

Lea - you must have strong neck muscles from that head banging, which is very helpful during ab work :) Yes, I mentioned the t-shirts on the weekend. There is a website that custom makes them for individuals, or for groups. Would you be interested in taking the helm for this? Many people thought it was a good idea. The Cheetah's did it, so I'm thinking we should ask them how they dealt with the money and mailing situation.

TraciX - You mean there's an OPTIONAL Phase 3, Week 5?! <Running to check the manual>. Gaaaahhhhhhh! Would you look at what they want you to do? CardioX every day in the morning; then at noon do KenpoX on Tues, Thurs, Sat; PlyoX on Mon, Weds, Fri; and before bed every night do Chest & Back (Mon), Shoulders & Arms (Tues), YogaX (Weds), Ch-Sh-Tri (Thurs), Back & Biceps (Friday), and Legs & Back (Saturday). And ARX after every weight workout. If you're feeling spunky they suggest you do CoreSyn 3 times in the week. Hmmmmm. If I get a babysitter for the week and plan to nap every day between 2-4pm, I can do this!! Jeanette! Are you up for it with me?? :) :) :) :) :) :) You are still a WonderWoman in my book. That was a creative mish mosh you put together, and will do your booty some good. Change is good, and you've certainly provided yourself with lots of that.

TracyX - You had a busy day yesterday. Was the lecture for work purposes, or for personal? Does one of your children have ADHD? Or are you trying to find out how to better communicate with TraciX? ;)

Monica - I hope you made your doggies clean up their own messes! That is just unacceptable :) I'm sure those fit attractive people in the commercials looked like that before they did the workouts. They're probably those "fitness models" who are chosen because their bodies have the most commonly accepted proportions. We don't get Fit TV in Canada. I wish we did! Celiac Disease, huh? Well if that's what it is, then thankfully we live at a time when there are so many mainstream food options for people who have to avoid gluten. Used to be the only place you could find non-gluten flours, breads and such was in some hard-to-find, expensive health food store.

Jeanette - I ^5 Blam, too LOL!! I like her. You are quickly getting through all of your painting. You're almost making me believe it's easy. I might even try it myself one day. Why are you dreading KenpoX 2 more times? Do you not like that workout? Or are you just tired of doing it? (Like I am). Oooooh, you're going to do the recovery week as written, hey? Well now I'm feeling all competitive and thinking "If Jeanette can do it, I can do it too!". Okay. We're in this together. All this talk of Dreya's moaning, and I have to say I've barely noticed it. It doesn't bother me all that much. Dreya doesn't bother me, in general. I think she's the female face that BeachBody wanted to put on P90X, so women wouldn't think these are male-only workouts. Yay that your dad is feeling better and is home! Let us know what happens to the lung transplant idea. Enjoy your first day at the new job!!!!!

Debra - my naps are a lot like yours. Drives me crazy. Do children just not recognize that a person lying down with their eyes closed is sleeping and should not be disturbed? Or do they just really not understand that even grown ups like to sleep? When I was in bed by 7pm last week, with a wretchedly ill stomach, my DD#1 still came into the bedroom 3 times to talk to me, and begged me to tuck her into bed at 8:30. She just couldn't comprehend that for one evening Mommy needed to sleep, uninterrupted. I just don't get it.

I feel really good this morning. Energetic and motivated. I'll be getting DD to the bus stop in a few minutes, then feeding DD#2 her breakfast, then will pop in KPC and do the intermediate premix (w/u, inter. intensity drills, combos 1&2). Then I will do Back & Biceps and ARX. Wow. Only 2 more times with ARX.

Have a great day everyone,
Sandra

Good morning all you very fit ladies!

Classic/Phase 3/Week 4/Day 3

Today was Back and Biceps for the last time. Arm pump is leaving now. I brought it as well as I could. I painted last evening so my right arm was more fatigued than usual. I just did my best and for.... I had moments of thinking I would cut off the last few exercises but didn't want to finish up that way. I do have tendencies to be lazy and don't want to open the door to skipping more and more, rationalizing here and there. I'm just that way. However, I did increase reps in most everything and my lat pulldowns were at maximum weight and reps for me so I feel like I did my best. I have a spin session at the Garage Boys tonite and will come home and do AbX and help DH with his workout. No painting tonite but will probably strip masking tape and put furniture back in place if I have time.

Traci, thanks for sending the leg workout. You are so considerate! I should just make a Traci folder on my computer. So Core Cardio is difficult? I haven't tried it yet. Is it a good one for a recovery week like Core Syn is?

Today is the first day of my new job (different deparment). I have a private office, which will be VERY nice considering I came from an area that was Grand Central, had another 2 desks in the room, fax and copy machines, a server, coffee pot, supply closet and entrance to the bathroom. Maybe I'll decorate my new office with posters of Tony or Dreya on the walls LOL. Only down side to this new job is that I have to take a lunch 45 minute break, start 15 minutes earlier and get off 30 minutes later than the old job. I'm hoping I can arrange a schedule of 5- 8 hour days, with no lunch (eat at desk) and get off work at 4:00 instead of 4:30. It helps a lot for cycling after work or doing errands. We'll see.

Must go, hi to all that follow. Debra, hope you didn't get the cold, you are sooo close to finishing.

Jeanette

Morning X'ers,

Today will be Back & Biceps plus ARX. Hope to get this one in before I have to get to church tonight.

Traci, you should have let us believe you where wonder woman! Maybe wonder woman crawling on the floor, because you couldn't move your legs anymore, but still wonder woman. Will anyone attempt to do all those exercises in one day! }( Not going to be me.

Sandra, I feel your pain with the end of this rotation. I’m looking at KenpoX in the rotation and gravitating toward my Taebo or KPC workout. Two more times for me also along with the YogaX. I haven’t tried yoga since I hurt my shoulder, and I will be having that one only 3 more times also. Maybe looking at them as only having to do them so few times is a better option.
}(

At the end of this rotation I still have a bunch of new workouts that I have purchased, but haven't had a chance to try out. I'm looking forward to doing those, after I get my Cathe fix of course. :)

Jeanette, Good luck on the new position, and having an office of your very own. Oh what bliss! I'm in the cube offices, so I envy you right now.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hi Sandra, we posted at the same time thereabouts,

Oh my gosh, optional week 5? Nope, can't do it. I am very destination oriented and my destination will be a week from this coming Saturday. That's it... period. I just need a break, though I have immensely enjoyed P90X and will DEFINITELY be doing it again. Spunky and Core Syn 3X in that week will not be happening. Guaranteed. Take that to the bank... I'm glad to be done with the family room. I'm thinking the kitchen shouldn't be too hard as it's not large, just lots of brush work as you can't get a roller in. The ceiling is done already, it's just the walls above the countertops and around the window that need to be done. I try to break the job into pieces, like only the ceiling one day and the walls the next. That way it's not a marathon daylight to nighttime project (remember I have lazy tendencies). I don't really dread KenpoX much, just have to wrap my mind around it and do it. Think it's cause I've been able to say bye-bye to the strength workouts this week that I was hoping to be able to do the same with that one too. I'll make it though. I looked on my calendar and TTOM falls during Recovery Week so there goes the new cover shoot for P90X LOL! I think I will still take pictures when I'm done, just may not post them (again). Who knows.

Got to run, don't want to be late on my first day.

Jeanette

Good morning everyone!

Today I really want to do Plyo X, however there may be a problem with that. There was no way I could get my butt out of bed early this morning to do it b/c I stayed up late last night -- tonight there is band practice at my house. I may be able to complete Plyo before the guys make it over if I start the moment I walk through the door from work. there is also always the chance that one of the guys will show up at the door early and I have to end my workout!! That always is irritating! Not sure -- may try to do it, may go to the gym and use the cardio equipment. I would definitely prefer Plyo X. I'll report in this evening.

It is so pretty here today -- supposed to get up to 58 degrees!!! I would love to walk the doggies this evening, but I think that there may still be a little too much salt on the roads for their paws.

I hope that everyone has a great day. I'm going to get me a cup of coffee and start working!

Monica

Laurie,
I'm feeling the same way about my new workouts, looking forward to a break. Thanks for the well wishes for my new position. Bring it good on B&B and AbX today!

Jeanette

Jeanette! LOL! I was so totally kidding about Week 5! That's no where in the manual, and if it were, I would be burning the manual! Can you imagine trying to do all that in a week? Insane. WonderWoman could do it (oh Traciiiiii........).

Sandra

Hi all! I don't have much time to write at this moment, so I will give you the boring details of my workout right now and do personals later.

I did Master Series Sculpt 5,6 today. What a great workout!!! I was tired by the end of it. I also did ARX. As much as I dread doing this workout most of the time, I love love love the results.

I was planning on doing some other form of weight work tomorrow, but since Sculpt 5,6 covers all areas of the body, I might just do yoga tomorrow, weights on Friday and cardio on Saturday. I think next time I do a T.H. week, I am going to incorporate more P90X weight work.

OK, see, I told you it was boring. BBL with personals.

BTW, Sandra - I started the ball rolling, so we will see where we get.

Lea

Ok, back with personals now.

:p :p :p Miss Traci X - What? You want to jump from shirts to diamond bracelets after doing only 2 rounds of the X? Maybe after 5 rounds}( , but by then your muscles should look like diamonds, so who needs a stinkin bracelet?

:p :p :p Jeanette - Bittersweet these last time workouts aren't they? Are you almost done with painting? Good luck on your new postition and have fun at your spin session.

:p :p :p Sandra - You would think that my neck would be more in shape wouldn't you? LOL. If I had only known that there was a week 5!!! DARN IT!! With even more work. Double DARN IT! Ok, so I just read that you were only kidding. I was all excited. Thanks Sandra:p .

:p :p :p Laurie - Have fun doing B&B today. Cathe time is almost here!!!

:p :p :p Monica - Crossing my fingers for you on your test results. Your new mud paw shoes sound awesome. Who cares what they look like (er, before the mud of course) as long as they are comfy comfy. You know, I feel the same way about my kids. Especially my lil one. I can't have any nice things because my lil one thinks it is "artistic" to draw and stamp things on our walls. Well, good luck trying to get plyo in today.

:p :p :p Debra - I hope that you are feeling better today. I am with you and Sandra on the naps. Every single time I try to take one here comes another "MOMMY, WAKE UP!!!". URGH, so frustrating.

:p :p :p Miss Tracy X - Just want to say hi and hope that you have a fantastic day with a great workout!!!

I think that is all for right now. Talk to y'all later.

Lea

Hi all,

I only did abs and 40 minutes of yoga yesterday. I really need the stretch and a break. It is amazing how little comments from the different yoga instructors can make such a difference in the way the moves feel; just like moving one hip back can make such a difference. I like the B&G abs and I just increase the number of reps to 25 for all the moves. I don’t do those roll down things, I just do hip lift from arx instead. Then I add a few plank modifications and some in and outs with the ankle weights on at the end and my core feels pretty tight. Today is plyo and weights and I’m looking forward to it. I may add in a little yoga at the end. I need to plan my recovery week and my next rotation. Time flies when you are having fun. I, like the sometimes idiot that I am, had the wrong date for the lecture on ADHD. It is next month. ADHD in secondary students is a big issue and it looks very different than with small kids, plus DH is ADHD so I’ll be interested to see the lecture on the correct date!

To all of you who are counting down the days; great work on staying so motivated and continuing to bring it.

Monica – I just love the NB 1008 series. I still only have the 1007, but I bought a couple pairs on closeout for 59.99 at NB Web express. I have been wearing those shoes for several years and haven’t had any problems with my plantar fasc….My niece has celiac’s and my FIL has Crohn’s. Diet seems to work wonders, so even though it’s not great to have, I hope for your sake that’s what it is, then you will know and can get on the right diet and get everything straightened out once and for all. I hope you get your workout in today.

Jeanette - A real office? That is wonderful, but staying later isn’t so good. The one good part about working in secondary education is that I am done at 2:45. It makes for a long afternoon to do whatever I want. Back & biceps brings back fond memories. I made a lot of progress with that dvd.

Traci – Glad you are feeling better and have a leg workout that you like. How long do you plan on using that formula for legs? I think I’ve shaved a little off my legs and rear since I’ve been able to go heavy again. My pants are really loose today, almost to the point that they don’t look so good. Core Cardio? Is that a master series workout?

Sandra – Are you doing doubles every day? Good for you. I felt good that last phase and finally lost the eye twitch that I had all of phase 2. I think those drills from KPC are hard if you haven’t done them for a while. As much as I enjoyed Kenpox, I don’t miss it. I got some good fatigue in my lats last week after doing back and then the Cathe kickbox medley.

Lea – Sounds like you all like the master series. What is a T.H. week? I’m so anal about some things I just hate to think of adding in p90x workouts without doing the rotation. I wonder if using them periodically will impact the magic when and if you ever do another full rotation?

Tracy

Hi there ladies!!

I did finally get in Kenpo last night...It took me all day to psyche myself up for it! But I did it! I did skip the breaks which shortened it a bit for me...I usually run around the house during the breaks to keep my heart rate up...but just skipped that last night...I also did the workout in bare feet..I couldn't be bothered to put on socks and shoes...and I really felt like the David Carradine in the kung fu movies! Anyway..got it done...Today is Ch-Sh-Tris...I am pretty sure I will not be able to do the push ups...My wrist was hurting last night from doing the quick down dogs at the end of Kenpo...I may have actually really hurt myself with that fall...but I will give a couple of weeks to heal before I go to the doctor...anyway...I will do the X Sh+Tris and add in some Cathe weights for chest...I also have ARX on the books today too..Still feeling yucky with my sore throat..and very wiped out...but should be able to workout...

Traci...I still think you are the power woman..and am still very impressed with your leg workout yesterday...have fun with Jennifer today..Hers was the first workout video I ever bought and I still love her! Our poochy is pretty large too...but we get her done for about $25 and it is well worth it!!! I don't know why she is such a smeller, but she is! She also LOVES to go tp the groomer..all you have to do is say, "Do you want to see Abbey?" and she goes nuts! Crazy dog!

Jeanette...Congrats on finishing your last Back and Bis!!!!! Woo-Hoo! I do like that workout...and will add it in post X to keep up with the pull ups...I'm sure all the guys in your workspace would be spending lots of time in your office if you put up a poster of Dreya!!! Good luck on your first day! Have fun with the Garage Boys this evening...and tell your husband again how impressed I am that he is keeping up with his workouts!

Sandra..You sound very perky this morning!! Have fun with all of your workouts today! If I have to take a nap todya..I may just lock my bedroom door so the little weasel can't get in! After she gets me up yesterday..then she didn't want to have anything to do with me!! Crazy kids!

Monica..Hope you get your results soon from your test...Not that I would wish Celiac disease on anyone..but at least you would be able to fight your symptoms! Good luck on getting in your workout this evening...I can tell you there is no way I could ever jump out of bed to to plyoX!!!!

Lea..Glad you had fun with your workouts...and I am never bored hearing about other people's fun...I like to live vicariously through others!

Laurie..have good workouts today...hope your foot and shoulder are pain free!

Okay, I guess that it's for now....Hi to Steph, Tracy, and X (if she's still out there!) I'll bbl to check in!

ETA..Hi Tracy...you snuck in and posted before me! Glad you got a yoga day in...I think our bodies really need that stretch day! I like B&G abs too! Have fun with plyo todya...Are you doing X or another version?

Debra

Ha ha! Ho ho! Hee hee! I feel good! Workout accomplished, and I'm feeling regretful that tomorrow is only YogaX. There's good energy flowing through my veins today. The KPC workout was a nice warm up to Back and Biceps. And with BB I increased reps and weights in various places, as well as doing most of the chin ups unassisted. In the middle of towel pull ups my thin, raggy little towel started to make tearing sounds, which concerned me a bit. So I didn't do those for the "max pull ups", even though that's what I wanted to do. I did another round of switch-grip pull ups instead. How ridiculous would it sound to have to explain to people that I broke my tail bone because my towel ripped? ARX flew by. I decided to try the bicycles with my hands off the ground, and could do them, but my balance was more wobbly.

Jeanette - believe me, I'm feeling the same way you are about finishing P90X! An additional "bonus" week would require more patience than I have. I have no doubt you'll still look great enough at the end to be on the cover for the next P90X-squared workouts! You're probably much too hard on yourself. I wanted to take some photos today - my upper body is nicely pumped up, but my waist is looking trim. That will all change in a day or two.

Laurie - Very wise advice to look at only how many we have left. Thank you! Stop thinking about the past, don't think about the future, just concentrate on the moment. I have a VERY hard time living in the present; it's one area I really need to work on. What are some of the new workouts you've purchased?

Monica - my butt would be hard to pry out of bed for PlyoX, too. I hope you get it in before band practice tonight. If not, enjoy your gym workout. I'm sure you'll work hard, no matter what you do.

LeaX - I think I have that Masters Sculpt 5-6 workout you did. It's good, hey? A nice one-day total body workout? I'll have to preview it and put it in my upcoming rotation. Thanks! And thank you for getting the ball rolling. Being in Canada, I don't think it's the best decision for me to order them all, then mail them to each of you. The postage and time would probably be more expensive. But if I can help in any way, just say the word! BTW, here in Canada, TH = "Tim Horton's" (phenomenally popular coffee/donut shop chain). Always makes me want to go grab a "Tim bit" every time I hear the Horton name. You're cracking me up in your happy personals post today. Go ahead and give my bonus week a try. If you live to tell us about it, I'll buy you that diamond bracelet.

TracyX - there's just something funny about someone who mixes up the date of a meeting about ADHD. So, what did you do with your afternoon instead? I'm not doing Doubles as written in the manual, but have added 3 intermediate Cathe cardios to the weight days, a short leg workout to the PlyoX day, and of course, the KMBlast to the KenpoX day. That roughly approximates the amount of cardio they've added to Phase 3 (I refuse to do my additional cardio on the PlyoX day and the YogaX day, as they suggest. That really seems like overkill). And I've only done CardioX once, just to see what it was like. I cannot imagine doing that 4 times a week!! Ridiculous. I won't miss KenpoX for a while, either. I will use it again eventually, but I'm ready to let it get a bit dusty.

Debra - oh my gosh, you deserve an award for working out with all of your troubles! Please take it easy. Of course she didn't want anything to do with you once you were awake! That's the way it is, isn't it? Grrrrr.

Cheers,
Sandra

Well what a glorious 80 degree day it turned out to be... Decided to hop on the new bike and give it a test spin. LOLOLOL At what age did I stop being a daredevil???? I guess all my time on a spinning bike means nothing in terms of actually riding on the pavement... A little wobly and paranoid of cars! Beyond that I can sure tell that I havent done a spin class in a year! My legs are so pumped and thats after a 20 minute ride! This cross training is gonna be gooooooood!

SANDRA: You are in one FINE mood today! Feels so good when all the planets are lined up properly eh? FABULOSO on the W/O! You are indeed experiencing the flow. YES my booty is a screaming this afternoon... one of those "I dont want to drink my water cuz I dont want to "go"!"" I hear that clock ticking down....HAPPY DANCIN'! oh oh oh MUST tell you... When I read al your posts I did double takes... every time your wrote KPC my brain saw KFC! I want something other than a broiled chicken breast I guess!

DEBRA: Wa-Hoo on getting Kenpo DONE! High 5's all around the room! Be really careful with that wrist girl... Gotta be able to catch yourself if you have another fall...HEAVEN FORBID!

LEA: You are another one in a jolly mood today! Is that why you all checked in late this morning? You were amping it up without me? LOL on TH.... I was really happy you explained that my mind was going all sorts of places. I love Sculpt 5/6 too! I really love thats its just a tad diff than the X for variety but principles are in tact for results. PSS Thanks for taking lead on Tshirts... I promise to tip you

TRACY: Good for you for doing any yoga at all! lololol. Good idea on ab reps... you are really working all the angles! On the leg workouts... I'll use til I stop getting results or until I start another X rotation... whichever comes first. Core Cardio is indeed the Master Series version of Core Syn. Very nice... Dreya moans a bit in this one too!

JEANETTE: Hope your first day of school is going well! Great job bringing it final time to B&B... Enjoy the garage boys tonight. Core Cardio will work great for recovery or just a change of pace for mid week abs. I like it better than Core Syn but then again I disliked banana boats ALOT

MONICA: I still thnk you should just tell those band dudes that unless they do Plyo WITH you they dont get to practice! That will make them have even more respect for you! Hope it all works out for ya!

LAURIE: Enjoy B&B and enjoy your countdown as well.... Its getting so close! I'm VERY excited for you. Be careful with that shoulder.

STEPH: Miss you today! Hoping you are doing well!

BBL

:+ :+OK gals. So Cathy (seeking guns) from the Cheetahs check-in was kind enough to give me all of the information regarding the shirts that they got. My question is before I start working on this is how many of you would be interested in getting an X shirt????? Of course, if you would rather have a diamond bracelet, I completely understand;-). Let me know...And happy X'ing!!!

Lea

Hi all,

Lea - I'm a little slow on the acronyms today; that one was a little obvious though. You haven't commented, are you keeping your gains?

Debra - Working out in bare feet? OMG! I wish I could workout in bare feet (I had plantar fasc. a few years ago, I can't even walk barefoot). You go girl...Was it harder to balance without the support of the shoes?

Sandra - Yes there is something inherantly funny in my having the wrong date to a lecture on ADHD. To make matters worse, I couldn't find the location! I should have known something was wrong when mapquest wouldn't attach the name of the building to the address that I typed in. I rode around for an hour and a half 9dark and rainy) and then came home, only to look at the flyer and see the date was wrong. My younger son periodically questions how I ever got the Dr and I comment that I am not smart in everything!

Traci - I'm sure you got acclimated fast, but isn't it funny how the brain will say, I can do that and the body says, wait, I'm not so sure...I've finally gotten used to riding fast, well, fast for me, but it took a while. I'm better on the road bike than I used to be on the mtn. bike. Do you have the clipless pedals? I fell a few times when I got those too. I'm sure it was quite funny to anyone who was watching. What other new dvds have you gotten? I think I'm going for the Tracy S. core one once I get paid next week.

Jeanette - I hope the new job is fun today. I was like you, and I had to finish the recovery week, but I must admit, I was ready to go again when it was over. I wish I had your energy and persistance to finish a project. It always seems like there is one or two small things that I can't do and I can't get anyone to help me.

I guess my snack has settled and I can go do my plyo. I was actually reading online today about workouts that focus on a set squats with weights, followed by a plyometric set etc. I might try a weighted set, a set with the med ball, and then a set with nothing. That might be fun!

Later X'ers, and hi to all who follow.

Tracy

Good afternoon ladies!!

I got my workout done today...but of course, not without an injury...Must have been either the scarecrows or the pour flies...and I tweaked something in my neck...thank goodness I have a massage scheduled tomorrow...I'm sure it will be fine after that! So..I did shoulders and tris from the X and Slow and Heavy chest (minus the push ups) and Arx...I was pleased that I was either able to go up in weights or reps in everything...but disappointed that I had to leave some exercises out because of my wrist (no pike presses, side raises, or dips) I am starting to get concerned about my wrist...I thought I would try the dips...and just put my weight on it..and knew immediately that I could not continue...And now it still hurts....Should I go to the doctor...and if I do what kind of doctor do I go see? I don't need a referral with my health insurance..I can just pick a specialist to go to. Let me know what you ladies think.

Lea...I would definitely be interested in t-shirts...I promise I will limp across the finish line of the X!

Tracy..Have fun with plyo! I actually felt MORE balanced without shoes on...And was really able to turn on my core.

Traci...I am so jealous of your weather!! It's about 45 here today..and I was excited about not wearing a parka! Good luck with the biking...it won't take you long to get the feel of it again...You ladies are making want to get a bike this spring!

Sandra..Congrats on your gains with B&B!! Good move on doing another kind of pull up instead risking a towel related injury! I also did the bike moves with no hands today on ARX...I felt like a hero!

okay...my DD is begging to get on the computer and I have laundry to fold...have a great evening ladies!
