Hi,
Going to give a try to personals, though they will have to be short. Been pretty busy today and tomorrow my sister is coming over in the evening to help me start the tiling.
Traci, thanks so much for the warm welcome back. I really missed all of you. The potential in-laws are nice people and really involved in a good way with their kids. They are good to Jesse (our son), and he likes them a lot too. Who knows. DS and his girlfriend have been together for 6 years now. Nothing has been announced yet, but I have a feeling... I got that laundry done, but sure don't feel energetic tonite. Better eat my Wheaties for tomorrow nights tiling. Enjoy your dawn bike ride tomorrow. I got chased by a big Labrador yesterday, out of the blue. Have never seen a dog there before. I was taking a swig of water from my bottle and out he came running like crazy. I yelled and yelled at him, outsprinted him and threw/dropped my water bottle. He finally gave up. I got to the turnaround point and knew I had to go back past him and get my bottle. I ended up walking my bike past his house (he was nowhere to be seen), picked up my bottle and was almost gone when out he came again. His owner came out onto the porch yelling "Buddy, get over here!" Makes me so mad to be afraid. I'll have to put the dog spray back on my bike and be ready next time. Hopefully his owner will see the problem before someone gets hurt.
Tracy, hope the run and yoga were enjoyable for you. How are things going with your FIL? Hope your DH is coping. Sorry about the DMV frustrations. I soooo understand. Our's has been good lately, so can't complain too much.
Laurie, you're right, that endurance type of weight work is tough. I found the same thing too after P90X. I could lift heavy, but lots of reps ala Cathe were tough for a while. What is Kimberly like? Does she do just strength or does she have cardio workouts too? B&G I need to do sometime soon. I've got to get back on track. Seems like a lot of vacation for me too, though I'm not complaining.
Teddygirl, good buys for you at NY&C. I'm dense, what does NY&C stand for? Hope you enjoyed your walk today and the weather.
Sandra, you and your B&G! I agree that one is one of my favorites too. Love how it gets the "sides" of my butt. I'd sure like to do more hiking around. However, DH isn't that into it, unless it's to look for firewood. We sure enjoy the motorized Rhino though. I let him do all the driving of that thing and I get to enjoy the scenery. The Tour was exciting and brutal today. Did you see poor Vino's strawberry on his hip? Bet he's sore tonite.
Nicole, hope you got thru YogaX all right today. You are sooooo close to finishing. Is this your very last week or is there one more? Is the AC installed yet? It's warm here tonite. The weather was great up in the mtns. where we were camping. Probably highest temp was in the 80's. Hope you get the finance priorities worked out.
Cheryl, glad you got the septic tank work done. A blown septic tank, wow, I can't even imagine the mess. Hope you had a nice awards lunch today. Pretty exciting stuff!
Wendy, LOL re: the knickers. How was MIC? The hi-lo is like the Flight of the Bumblebee. Oh my gosh!! Reading your foot incident made mine hurt all over again!!!! My DH thought I'd cut mine off, I made so many yells, cuss words, crying sounds, sobs, etc. I am such a wimp here lately, almost like my pain tolerance is lower. I sure hope you are putting ice on it. I should have on mine. I'm still having some pain but more like the swelling is putting pressure on nerves in my foot. My other toes hurt sometimes and also my arches from walking differently. I feel like a little old lady. MIC is tough, I don't think I've ever even finished just the hi-lo.
Amy, hope you got the rest in that you needed. How was breakfast? I love eating breakfast out with my DH. Sometimes we just can't get the workouts in. I'm loosening up a lot about that and when I blow the eating. Used to bother me but hey, life's too short. Maybe my attitude is changing as I approach the 50 year mark (I'll be 49 in Nov.).
Better get some other stuff done before bed. I've got a headache.
Jeanette
