Good Evening Ladies!
Tracy-X: How is your back doing? I hope the running didn't aggravate it even more. When you run with your dogs, do they pull you along, run next to you or behind you? I only ran with Baby once and she pulled me along. It was the only time I was glad and didn't complain about her pulling on her leash!:7 I really enjoy yoga now that I've been going to a live class. I'm not overly sold on the heated studio part of it though!!! Although, it does improve my flexibility. Yes, I have seen improved tone and the cellulite on my thighs have diminished some. I find it amazing! I would have never guessed! Maybe, I'm sweating out all that extra water retention??? Like you, since doing yoga more regularly, I've noticed my weaker areas more; especially my upper back. I blame my poor posture. I'll have to focus on zipping it this week.
Traci-X: Watch out for that rotator cuff! It wasn't all that long ago you were having problems with it. Don't need you on the IL during vacation!!! The 4DaySplit clips are way cool!!! They go by so fast and there are so many it's hard to remember them all. I've only watched them once. Hopefully someone here with better memory and without ADD will be able to describe them to you. What a good hunter/gatherer Wendell is!!!:7 Enjoy the seafood!:9 Apologies accepted. You forgot long winded me.:7 That's okay. I still love you!!!:*
Sandra-XX: Enjoy Imax2! That's a fun workout!!!
Annointed TG: Sounds you are back in the saddle again! WTG with your workoutS!!!
Debra-X: Diet Coke???? I switched to water back in Jan of this year. Haven't missed it one bit! However, I do get my daily dose of caffeine in my coffee! Any of your schooling choices sound good. I especially loved my twin's PT assistant at Easter Seals. She was homeschooled to college.;-) They had a PT too, Mr. P.T.Man. OMW! he was so fine!!!!}( Yes, Phil knew I had a little crush on him. But, like Jeanette's dh and unlike me, Phil is so not a jealous person!!! I'm not sure how it works for a PT assistant. She worked one on one with the twins though. I'm hoping as dd matures, she will want to draw less attention to herself with her clothing choices. LOL I have to admit that she's not all to blame. I can be a bit too conservative. If I had it my way, she'd be in dresses all the time!;-) Oh Debra! I do not envy you right now with such a popular, pretty dd!!! Will your next home have a basement? An attic?}( ;-)
Jeanette-X: I'm not sure which I'll chose for tonight's workout. GS or S&H. I'll decide after I finish posting. Ouch! I can't imagine stepping with a pulled shin muscle! Glad you listened to your body and modified! The prison security makes sense. I'm having visions of Shawshank Redemption. I can't imagine the damage one could do to another with carpenter tools!!! I'm impressed with your desire to delve deeper into golf. How cool! Don't look for me to play with you anytime soon. One new sport is all I and my pocketbook can handle right now!:7
Laurie-XX: Interesting yoga on the ball. I'll have to check it out. LOL on enjoying Algebra. I loved math in school. It was the one class that I was able to pick up easily. Now, AP English was a different story! I hated reading. In fact, I once wrote a book report on a fictitious book! LOLOLOL I'm so bad! You'd be a natural Wild Kingdom camera woman! I always wondered how they could keep filming a lion or tiger stalk and eat a baby animal without intervening. You must be doing a good job parenting!! I sat down with dd today and discussed clothing choices. It was a good conversation. Hopefully, she'll take it to heart and think before desiring to follow the crowd. She's like your youngest dd too! Ever since she was 4 and I had a talk with her about private parts and keeping them private, she wanted her privacy. LOL YES! Bad Laurie!!! Do I need to mail you a camera????:+ That was a perfect Kodak moment you let slip by!!! sigh... At least you know. That's the first step. Admitting you need help.}( :7
Cheryl: I'm so happy for your booming business!!! I can relate about today bringing bittersweet memories with it being dd's birthday and realizing how many children lost a parent. I was so shaken by the TV images, we waited until the weekend to celebrate dd's b-day. She was so young that she didn't know what day it was. DD is now 10! I can't believe I have another child in the double digits! Way too young to be into fashion. Maybe, it's me. But, I still wore Strawberry Shortcake shirts and played with dolls until I was in the 7th grade! LOL
Lea-X: WTG with jumping back into workouts! From what I hear DM is a heart thumping killer!
Amy-X: Keep a look out. I'm sending you something in the mail this week. It was a gloomy, dark day here too! Too bad the doctor couldn't give you more help. Maybe, you should go see the gyne. When I skipped TTOM, I made an appointment with an infertility specialist. The way I looked at it was that my regular OBGYN has ton of experience seeing pregnant women (women with a reason to not have TTOM). Going on bc was not an option. I love using the neti pot! I used it this morning before running around town. I find that it works better for post nasal nastiness more than stuff already loosely running. Then again, I haven't used it long. Hope it helps clear you up!!!
Nicole-X: Awww This must be a tough time for Grady's brother too! I always felt bad for eldest dd when the twins were in the NICU and their first couple of years. I think it made her grow up faster. You'll have to share your endurance rotation as soon as the ink drys! I'm terrible without a workout buddy and rotation! From my understanding, the weather is dry and cooler starting in November. I'll have to ask my mom when I talk to her. My relatives live in the central region. We may rent a car and drive down the coast and play on the beach. Or we may end up killing one another. LOL
What do my wondering eyes see???? Why it's Carol!!!!!!! Hey! Glad to hear that you are working out some! Vegetables for breakfast? Which ones? My kids like veggies and salads. Well, except for the twins. But, as long as the twins eat, I'm happy. The fall is especially busy. I might not be able to do the X rotation with you in November. My mom is teasing me with an airplane ticket to Thailand if I get my passport in time. The pressure is on!!! If I do go to Thailand with my mom, I'll have to homeschool on the weekends to make up for my time away. That's okay. It'll be worth it. Well, see what happens.
Well, it's time for me to push play. Tomorrow is a busy day. Hair coloring, driver's license picture and passport scramble. Oh, and homeschool!!!! I'll try to get online by mid-afternoon.
Sweet Dreams!
Wendy
