Hi all,
I'm back after a full day today, first had the group bike ride, which was good. After that, helped DH spray texture around the hearth, finished the painting. Tomorrow I will take down all the masking and plastic and it should all be done. Had a visit from DD and grandchildren for a few hours during the afternoon. Finally have time to post.
Teddygirl, glad you are recovering from that awful tooth. How was Cardio Fusion? I like that one too. Bet your GS's birthday was fun. Must have been some party!!! Please give us details!!!
Laurie, your tooth sounds just like mine. I have a molar that had a very old filling in it, with 3 different splits. My dentist wanted to do a crown on it as he feared it would break sometime. Wasn't even hurting, but I had him do the crown. No root canal either. Have a temporary crown on it right now, but permanent one will be glued in later this month. I have to remember not to eat anything chewy as that temp already came out once when I ate a calcium chew the other morning. I fear my swing is like a softball swing too. I think I will take lessons this fall thru the college. I hit balls the other night and I didn't do all to well. I'm hitting them straight, but they aren't going up in the air or with much force.
Debra, thanks so much for asking about Tillie, she is doing just fine. She's a bossy little dog, at least to her older "sister", our German Shorthair who is the sweetest dog in the world. They both crack my DH and I up all the time. Did you get your rest day in today? The tiling fairies never showed so we had to do it ourselves. Hope you can get the bike riding in soon. Muscle Max was a good workout for me, though the Timesaver workout didn't quite finish off each body part, but good anyway.
Sandra, love the combo of workouts you did on Friday. Did you get around to making a cake? I've been yearning to make Buffalo Chip cookies since I tasted one earlier this spring. Congrats on getting that report done!!! Way to go on seeing it thru to the end. Did you like Little Miss Sunshine? Many do, but not me.
Wendy, we want to hear everything about your trip!!! Missed you this weekend, but knew you were having a blast!!! I looked for you in the road trip pictures that were posted. Can't wait to hear the question that you asked Cathe!!!
Nicole, how is your back feeling? ?Do you have the creepy spider feeling still? I'm looking forward to SJP/Step Blast Weights & Step tomorrow. SJP always makes me happy. CTX was one of the first sets of Cathe's that I bought, love the short cardio. It always surprises me how intense it is. Sandra's explanation is right on. What is an earth muffin? I love visiting Oregon. We did a cycling trip around the Medford/Ashland area last year that was really fun. A few years ago, we cycled in the wine country of California and had a good time too. Pizza sounds great, been ages since I've head it. I love to bake but don't as the only one that would eat anything would be me.
How were the cinnamon rolls? Baking those sounds like something really nice I should do this winter. I used to shy away from anything with yeast in the recipe (scared I guess), but my sister taught me how to make bread and then it was not a problem any more.
Got to run,
Jeanette
