Good morning,
Yesterday was the MuscleMax Timesaver premix. Right after that, DH and I left for a LONG ride (92 miles) on the Rhino. We had a great time and rode to a lake that was a lake on the map, but in reality was only a boggy area. Was a nice day. Last night I masked off the hearth area and DH will spray texture around the hearth and on the ceiling (still part of our simple little tile project). Most people could have had a project like this done in a couple of weeks. Not the 2 grasshoppers here. We're too busy trying to get the play time in too.

Have to go get ready for our Sunday group bike ride. Will post later this evening.

Debra, thanks for starting this post 2 days in a row now!

Hi to everyone!

Jeanette

Hey girls,

Wow Debra, 2 days in a row! Way to go! ^5 Good to see you too Jeanette!

Just wanted to say good morning:)

I'm off to finish making cinnamon rolls for my grandparents anniversary. So dangerous! They taste just like Cinnabon:9

Today is a rest day but I might squeeze in some yoga, we'll see;)

See ya all later,

Nicole

Hi ladies! Hope you are all doing well today. I am thinking today is going to be a rest day for me since last Sunday was my last rest day...I usually don't take Sunday as a rest, but we'll see. I may end up doing some short cardio this afternoon.

I did GS BSB yesterday plus BG stability ball abs. I used the mix and match feature on GS...so I would did one back exercise (just the first set), then a shoulder exercise and then a bicep, then back to start the second set for back. More like an X workout. I was able to stay with the same weights (for the most part) that Cathe uses throughout...whereas if I had done the dvd as produced I would have only been able to hang with Cathe for the first set, maybe into the second, but then I would have had to lower my weight. So, this enabled me to lift heavy the entire workout. I am going to try that during this rotation to see if I can gain some more strength and of course create some more muscle.

personals...

Nicole...Good luck not eating all of those cinnamon rolls! Those are a weakness for me! I briefly looked at your rotation last night..I am going to print it out later the peruse it more thoroughly. It looked great! When are you planning on starting it...maybe you said and I just forgot...Tomorrow?

Jeanette....Did you enjoy MM yesterday? Glad you and DH had a nice day together! I'm sure the tiling project will be waiting for you whenever you get back from having fun...If the tiling fairies come and finish it for you, let me know since I really need them to do some yard work for me! Have a great time on your group ride tonight. I am planning on heading over to the bike store one day next week in wild anticipation of DD starting school on the 20th...I'll finally have some time to ride.

Oh...and of course, I am sure you all want to hear the update on the rocks in the tumbler...LOL...we are finally in the last stage of polishing. I will have to take some pictures of them when we're done...lol!

Okay ladies...that's it for now...I HAVE to vacuum and then I think I am going to take a long leisurely bubble bath!

bbl to check with everyone....

Hello.....Hello....Hallo:)

Good morning ladies, I see everyone got there workout out the way, Jeanette ^5 on the workout nice work. I am just getting up, can you believe it, party over here last night. I did not get to bed until 7am this morning. I'm need a second cup of coffee, will be back

Hi Gangette,

Small group today! Today was my rest day, so I did Shiva Rea's Yoga Shakti: Solar Flow I. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a very busy weekend, especially today, so I haven't had much time to play. It seems like I'm never going to have time to play anymore; there's always something that comes up. Grrr. It's late and I'm tired so I should just go to bed.

Welcome back to the Road Trippers!! Please, tell us about it when you get the chance. And hello to Tracix! You're supposed to check in with us tomorrow, I believe.

Sweet dreams,
SandraX

Hi all,
I'm back after a full day today, first had the group bike ride, which was good. After that, helped DH spray texture around the hearth, finished the painting. Tomorrow I will take down all the masking and plastic and it should all be done. Had a visit from DD and grandchildren for a few hours during the afternoon. Finally have time to post.

Teddygirl, glad you are recovering from that awful tooth. How was Cardio Fusion? I like that one too. Bet your GS's birthday was fun. Must have been some party!!! Please give us details!!!

Laurie, your tooth sounds just like mine. I have a molar that had a very old filling in it, with 3 different splits. My dentist wanted to do a crown on it as he feared it would break sometime. Wasn't even hurting, but I had him do the crown. No root canal either. Have a temporary crown on it right now, but permanent one will be glued in later this month. I have to remember not to eat anything chewy as that temp already came out once when I ate a calcium chew the other morning. I fear my swing is like a softball swing too. I think I will take lessons this fall thru the college. I hit balls the other night and I didn't do all to well. I'm hitting them straight, but they aren't going up in the air or with much force.

Debra, thanks so much for asking about Tillie, she is doing just fine. She's a bossy little dog, at least to her older "sister", our German Shorthair who is the sweetest dog in the world. They both crack my DH and I up all the time. Did you get your rest day in today? The tiling fairies never showed so we had to do it ourselves. Hope you can get the bike riding in soon. Muscle Max was a good workout for me, though the Timesaver workout didn't quite finish off each body part, but good anyway.

Sandra, love the combo of workouts you did on Friday. Did you get around to making a cake? I've been yearning to make Buffalo Chip cookies since I tasted one earlier this spring. Congrats on getting that report done!!! Way to go on seeing it thru to the end. Did you like Little Miss Sunshine? Many do, but not me.

Wendy, we want to hear everything about your trip!!! Missed you this weekend, but knew you were having a blast!!! I looked for you in the road trip pictures that were posted. Can't wait to hear the question that you asked Cathe!!!

Nicole, how is your back feeling? ?Do you have the creepy spider feeling still? I'm looking forward to SJP/Step Blast Weights & Step tomorrow. SJP always makes me happy. CTX was one of the first sets of Cathe's that I bought, love the short cardio. It always surprises me how intense it is. Sandra's explanation is right on. What is an earth muffin? I love visiting Oregon. We did a cycling trip around the Medford/Ashland area last year that was really fun. A few years ago, we cycled in the wine country of California and had a good time too. Pizza sounds great, been ages since I've head it. I love to bake but don't as the only one that would eat anything would be me.
How were the cinnamon rolls? Baking those sounds like something really nice I should do this winter. I used to shy away from anything with yeast in the recipe (scared I guess), but my sister taught me how to make bread and then it was not a problem any more.

Got to run,

Jeanette

Just a quick goodnight to all of you:) The cinnamon rolls were yummy! I at least had grilled chicken and fruit for dinner:9

DebraX, I'm starting the new rotation next week. I'm hoping to build lots of muscle with this one. I saw that it broke up the body parts and liked that. I guess we'll see!

JeanetteX, Glad to hear your group ride went well. An earth muffin is someone who wears birkenstocks, drives a hybrid, lives in a green house, eats vegan and carpools. Too many things to explain;) Not that any of those things are bad on there own, it's just when you do them all that you get the title:) I'm surprised you haven't heard that one before:D

Traci-X, Looking forward to hearing from you:)

Welcome back RT'ers! Looks like you had a blast!!!

Nicole

Hi Ladies!!!!!!!!!!

OH MY! I WISHED y'all could have been there! That would have made a perfect RT Heaven!!!! On the blog's pic, you can see me sitting at the table in the studio/dining room. I'm right under the smaller screen. One thing I learned about viewing my RT pictures, I need a better haircut!!!!!x(

We had a BLAST!!!! I'm off to post pictures to my picturetrail account. Will come back with more RT experience to share.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!
Wendy
