X'ers - ~~~SATURDAY~~~

teddy16410

Cathlete
Good Morning X'ers!

Up early as I strayed from no yeast etc... plan and had tortilla chips with my shell-less taco salad last night. Tummy isnt happy this morning! I was in "I could eat a horse" all day yesterday and didnt fuel properly before going out to dinner with friendsx( . We have another dinner with friends tonight so I will have to plan better!

Butts & Guts Leg Blast premix on tap for today. I was surprised to see it is only about 48 minutes. The "Leg Blast" premixes on Legs & glutes is 70 minutes I think... Anyway, If I feel the need I will add on some plyo work from Master Series for good measure as it is "Plyo Day".

:D :D Jeanette: I did the same thing w/ UML this week! Thats the one I sucked at after just 3 weeks of no ARX. This is when I decided I couldnt ignore the Abs Issue Tracy X & I are contemplating. Happy to see that when I'm back in fighting form I'll be able to do it twice!
DH's Cleaner Eating is a MAJOR MILESTONE! Congrats to him for making the connection! Happy news for your dad being taken off oxygen! At least its a step towards getting him home where it might be easier for your mom. back & forth to hospital can take its toll. OOOH on the movie- Thats one in my NF Que! AWESOME job to really bring it yesterday on workout! I cant believe you are starting final 4th week soon. It will be interesting to see how the Monster Week affects you mentally & physically. I was so fatigued and felt many gains were achieved by the "surprise" of this 4th week. Stay strong!

:7 :7 TRACY: Glad you are feeling so strong this week! Thats wonderful to be able to find your perfect mix! I am happy with my upper body routine for the most part... Legs is another story entirely. I havent measured but think my upper thighs are again getting flabby. I am going to do more "lower cardio" this week (without step) as that was the first thing that worked for me with X was plyo type work. I think I'll keep Leaner Legs, GS Legs, Slim Series Legs but the rest will be Tony or B&G/DrillMax for awhile. I totally agree about Jari Love. Its hard for me to watch her as personally I think she has a look of a very sick woman. I know all body types are different I guess I've just never seen a fitness instructor who has more bones showing than muscle. I think the change in routines will be good for you. Remember the "Ab Roller" on TV? I think thats the same concept as what you & Jeanette were talking about... Those are very challenging! Great idea to get those in the ab mix! Hope you start to defrost soon! Days off are nice but I like you am ready to take it outside for some natural workouts!

:7 :7 DEBRA: I am so very sorry about your fall again and your hand & wrist... Kinda makes it tough to hold dumbbells doesnt it? I am keeping you in my thoughts.... I know that its been a tough few months and that definitely affects my balance, concentration, coordination. You need to be kind to yourself in all ways for awhile.

:7 :7 Monica: YOU GO GIRL!!!! What a workout that was! Send that band to my house so I can get Super Charged!! ^^^5! So will the Tae Bo's I just ordered help with my core? I havent done one in at least 10 years but recall its major ab intensity.... Very sorry that tummy is acting up again. That has to be frustrating being so afraid to put certain things/combinations in your mouth! I agree with TracyX that you want to research what is going into your body. Most Drs have a preferred way of dealing with medical issues I think so its wise to take charge and question. I researched Bio Identicals for nearly 3 years and then researched Drs for 2. When all is said & done you are the master of your body. BTW: I was good about ignoring Chips Ahoy voices but failed miserably when they called out Tortilla Chips!}(

SANDRA: :7 :7
LOL on Yoga X.... My first thought was ... WHY? Why would Sandra CHOOSE to not use the grocery store as the very understandable excuse NOT to do it? LOL Because Sandra doesnt find Yoga horriblt boring & painful!!!! LOL Tell me again why we did L&B & ARX & SJP warmup in the same day as Yoga X???? Are you already missing Tony? :p FABULOUS FABULOUS gains this week!!! So how are you feeling about entering Monster Week 4?.... Thats cool you've got Jeanette right there with you! I loved having Tracy X & Lea with me crossing the finishing line... It gave me an extra little push I so desperately needed that week.

LEA::7 :7
Thats interesting that you said you & DH are closer now- 7 years later.... I feel the same after 5. Our first 2 years were VERY rocky for a multitude of reasons- mainly my having been single & independent for so long. I sure as heck didnt know how to succeed in a 24/7 relationship! No books on that one! Entire BM2???? OMG- My player doesnt even do "as produced" anymore!!! LOL I cant wait to hear that review! I just find the Body Max's so hard as produced... My energy is zapped by the end of cardio and trying to do full upper body after all that just fries my brain! You go for it and do a few extra lifts more me! Hope toe is healing nicely and you dont tip over in your next Yoga Session! ( Great visual btw!) Tosca Baked Chicken is just so simple & so YUMMY! I loved it even more adding lemon wedges to tops before cooking this last batch... I love Lemon Chicken...

LAURIE: Hope that foot is better and you enjoyed Happy Feet! LOL was that irony at its finest?

STEPH: Sorry we are making you worried about abs already! I forget the panic I was in just anticipating putting together a rotation so we must be sending you over the edge! LOLOL. I am thinking that until we can all find the ab secret without ARX that you can always break the 11 exercises in ARX into 2-3 parts and use 1 part plus your CoreMax (or whatever) 2-3 times a week. That may help. Wish I'd thought of that for myself this past week! For next week abs I am trying Pilates as so wisely suggested! 3x 15-20 minutes each. I'll just be usining pilates tapes I have that are 45-60 minutes and breaking them up into pieces. I will also be adding some pilates ab tapes to my NetFlix que to see what out there before buying anything else. I also ordered 2 Tae Bo kicks to try and get this ab thing worked out! Can you tell I'm in a panic???

Well I think thats all the scoobies about yesterday posts.... What can I do now as its just 4:15am??? LOL Its gonna be a LONG day!
Happy Saturday Gang!:7

Hi all,

Another cold day here in the Nation's Capital. I can just see the dollar signs as my heat pump runs non stop.

Today is kickbox and some cardio. I'm not sure whether I'll do Powerstrike 2 again or KPC. My abs are feeling tighter today. That's a good sign.

Traci - 4:15, ughhh.... On the subject of legs, my favorite body part! I've been doing weight/plyo intervals and that really seems to get the legs good. I made up my own, and my glutes were tired the next day. Do you have Low Max? It's structured so that you could add weights to it pretty easily then if you hold a med ball during the blasts that would be a real killer. For ex. do the step from interval 1, stop do 30 squats with a decent weight, then do the blast holding the med ball etc.. You'd probably only have to do the first 4 intervals. I think I might put that in my next rotation, which I'll be working on today. If you don't, you can always add some squats and lunges etc. before you do the plyo.

BBL, and hi to all who follow.

Tracy

CL/PH3/WK3/Day6: KenpoX

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD Saturday morning!!!

How are you all today? I feel fabulous :D :D I have a To-do list a mile long, but for some reason it doesn't have me bothered. Yet.

TraciX - How much longer do you have on this sparse-eating plan? It's very tough. I don't know if I could go an entire 30 days. I guess your food and your sleep issues are definitely connected, huh? Hopefully this means you'll be able to solve your sleeping problems. Have you lost any weight with this? I would think it would fall off, without any of the fun stuff at all in your diet. Do you honestly think B&G Leg Blast Premix isn't going to be "enough"? What is "enough"? The complete inability to walk for 3 days? Yeah, I thought I was nuts to attempt YogaX yesterday, too. But I just enjoy the darned thing so much that I just had to do it. And even though I'd just done the regular Friday workout, YogaX didn't feel any harder. At this point in time I'm feeling good about Monster Week. It will be exciting to be finishing so many workouts for the final time. The challenge, for me, will be to really "bring it", and not just go through the motions. It's very tempting to just do the minimum so I can say I did it, and not push hard. So, please make sure I don't do that! I'm sure Jeanette, with all of her enthusiasm, will also help in that regard.

Monica - Wow, you really worked hard yesterday, too! But, you're doing the Doubles rotation, aren't you? I can't imagine anyone doing the Doubles rotation by using CardioX 4 times a week, as they suggest. I'd quickly go insane from the repetitiveness. I think I already mentioned a while back that I agree with you about the KenpoX warm up. When he goes up on his toe, while in a squat, and then turns to face each foot, I just go back and forth doing inner thigh stretches. I also don't attempt to go deep.

Debra - How was "Crash"? I haven't seen that movie yet, but I've heard it's amazing. Another one to go on my list of Movies To See When I Can Stay Awake Long Enough.

Jeanette and TracyX - Jeepers. More fans of Yoga Shakti! It sounds like I really need to dust of my dvd and give it a good go round. I think one of the things that put me off it was how long the as-produced sessions were. But now that I see the benefits of alloting priority time to yoga, I'm willing to do it.

TracyX - I know what you're talking about regarding the roll-outs. I never thought of doing them with a barbell. I've seen them done with some little wheely-device. Did you ever see the video on the OD that someone provided a link to, probably last November? It had some rockin' heavy music, with this guy doing some amazing, amazing core work. He started with those roll-outs, then went above and beyond. Maybe that's the workout for you? :p Jeepers, I don't even remember what the thread was called, so you can search for it. It was amazing, though. Made me wonder if the video was doctored. I wish my pull/chin up bar was high enough that I could hang from it with a straight body. I think if I had that height, and major stability, I would be able to attempt more things with it. Oh well, I'll be happy with what I have. It's better than nothing. Creative idea on LowMax. Aquajock posted a detailed description of how to do those blasts with a med ball, quite some time ago. I may give it a whirl in a couple of weeks. I miss that workout.

Jeanette - DH is coming along really well! Does he have a specific goal, or is he just trying to stay active and healthy? My DH is impressing me very much with his consistency. And he's improving quite a bit. It's probably time to get him on his bike and doing some Spinervals. But our basement is in turmoil right now. We need to go down and clear a proper space for him to put his bike on the trainer. Oh yes, I enjoyed SJP. I love that workout. The step is short, easy, and fun. Just right for a day when all you want is to get the blood flowing and the muscles warm. Have you ever tried the SJP/SB combinations? Those are some of my favourite workouts. I wouldn't recommend a lung transplant for anyone unless they have absolutely no alternative. What I saw my friend's mother go through was absolutely torturous. I suppose if she had ultimately survived, it would have been worth the suffering. But she never rallied after the surgery. At the same time I was in complete awe about the surgery itself. It blows my mind that we (the human race) know how to do something like this. That we can take a pair of lungs from a deceased person and put them into another human, and that person can live a long and healthy life (usually!) just blows my mind. I'm surprised the doctors haven't made mention of it to your mom already? Maybe the parameters for transplants is different in the US than in Canada? I liked the Bourne Identity very much. What did you think of it?

I'm listening to DH's mp3 player as I type this, and he's downloaded the "Superfreak" song. Man, this cracks me up. Did anyone see the movie "Little Miss Sunshine"? One of my favourite movies of all time. I haven't laughed that hard in ages. I may actually buy it when it comes out on dvd. The only other movies I've cared enough for to purchase are Bridget Jones's Diary, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, American Beauty, and This is Spinal Tap. What movies are on the top of your list?

My appetite was off all day yesterday. I only wanted to eat simply-digested things. I developed a big gassy-stomach ache after dinner. Peppermint tea helped a bit. My stomach feels pretty flat today :) I'm sure I'll take care of that real quick. I feel back to normal, so will be eating like a horse again, I'm sure.

Have a great day,
Sandra

LEAN/Phase 3/Week 10/Day 4

Today is YogaX! Yay! Last night I did Back and Biceps for the first time - LOVED it! But of course, I really like working the biceps for some reason. I guess it's because they're one of my stronger areas. The back work on that one is a really varied, so you're not just doing pullups the whole time. Then on to my favorite, (sarcastic tone) ARX. Right now, I can finish everything without breaks except the Fifer Scissors, Heels to the Heaven, and Mason Twists. That's a huge improvement for me since the beginning of this crazy ride!

TraciX - Yeah, I'm counting on the rest of you to figure out the perfect AB solution before I'm done with P90X, you know! I like your idea of doing part of ARX and then Core Max throughout the week. That might work. Tell me a little about UML. How long of a workout is it? Is it similar to ARX?

TracyX - OK, now I'm going to have to get LowMax, too! Your workout for the legs using LowMax and the med ball sounds awesome! If that doesn't work your legs, nothing will!

Hey, one more thing. Tonight I'm going to a CAbi party at a friends home. Evidently, it is a clothing line and now it's being sold by representatives in hosts' homes. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it expensive? Is it cute stuff?

Have a fun Saturday fellow X-er chicks!

Anyone interested in getting X'd t-shirts? The Cheetah's did it, and were happy with the product. What do you all think?

Steph - good morning! Back & Biceps is terrific! The pull ups are hard when your biceps are tired. Funny how different people have different strengths/weaknesss (which TracyX also said a few days ago). The Fifer Scissors and Heals to the Heavens were always the "easiest" part of ARX for me, because you get to lay down on your back! You don't use as many large muscle groups all at once. Search the forums (the video discussion, maybe) for a post by Aquajock, with "LowMax" and "medicine ball" in the title. Oh, never mind. I did it:

Cheers,
Sandra

Sandra - Where can you get the X'd T-shirts? Does beachbody.com sell them? That would be cool! It would be a nice little reward to ourselves for surviving 3 months of P90X. Thanks so much for the link to Aquajocks's LowMax modifications. I'm going to copy and paste it into my "good rotations" file for when I'm finally done! I don't have a med ball, but it looks like a dumbbell will work. Won't be much longer now! BTW, I have a friend whose college age daughter LOVED "Little Miss Sunshine" and she got it for her on DVD for Christmas, so I think it's already out on DVD. I've never seen it. I'll have to check it out!

Bye again - BBL

Steph

OK, you can totally tell I'm avoiding housework today, can't you? Well, I went to the beachbody website and there are some P90X t-shirts there, unless we want to get a more "personalized" kind. What did the Cheetahs get? Hey, BTW, they also have Dreya posters for a mere $14.95! Anyone with me? Anyone? Anyone?

Steph

Hi all,

Steph - I'm right there with you on avoiding the housework. I started cleaning the bookshelf and that has turned into way more work than I possibly wanted to commit to. Off to workout, the cleaning will have to wait. I'd go for a personalized t-shirt, if anyone else is interested.

Tracy

Traci - Still waiting to hear what you think of the B&G leg blast premix. Also, are you sure you don't have some water retention in the thigh area and that's why they appear a little bigger? I seem to get it there pretty easily when I work the legs hard.

Tracy

Hi again ladies - Happy to see everyone is so productive today!!!

reporting on completed workout...
1st 45 minutes of Scrambled Eggs from BM2 + Leg Blast Premix from DrillMax... 80 minutes of YOWZA YOWZA!!! Tomorrow will be a rest & recovery day for me with just a little Yoga to help stretch out....

DH waiting for my hands to help on a project so will be back later with all the detailed personals

What I can recall.....
************Steph: GET BUSY TODAY!:+
********Sandra: Are you wired this morning? :+ ...& YES on custom T's!
***********Tracy: Holy smokin cow on the Leg Blast... Can Cathe ever get enough lunges in that one? I actually did additional leg presses and firewalkers just to get a dang "break" from lunges! Now my legs look REALLY BIG! :+

:+ :7

Good morning Xer gals!

I have already been out shoveling snow..Lucily I didn't fall again...LOL...any way..I should be able to get to my workout this afternoon after DD and I go out to lunch. Sh+Arms today..and I may add some cardio in too....

Okay on to personals....

Sandra..I just watched "Little Miss Sunshine" this week!!! Loved It!!! What a funny movie! "Crash" was really good...One of those movies everyone should see. I would definitely be interested in a t-shirt...Let me know..and Have fun with Kenpo today!

TraciX..I've been upright for a whole 24 hours now...so that's pretty good! Hope your leg blast was what you were looking for.

Tracy..You are a crazy woman with the legs!! You must have the strongest legs in the world! God bless you! I wish I could make leg workouts my favorite...I don't know why they're not...but I know I have increase definition in my legs since starting the X...so I will be interested in what rotation you come up with to keep legs a focus.

Steph...Glad you had a good workout yesterday...congrats on your gains with ARX! I like Back and Bis too...although my forearms really take the brunt of that workout. Have fun with yoga today. I am looking forwrd to Bryan Kest tomorrow. I like some of the CABi clothes...A lot of them are too dressy for me (I'm a SAHM)..and there are some styles that I think are a little too mature for me. With that being said...There are always 4 or 5 pieces each season that I really like. I think the clothes are a little expensive...but the quality is great. I'm sure you'll have fun with your friends!

Hi to all the other regulars...Laurie (what did the Dr say?), Monica, Lea(how's the toe?), X, Jeanette...and what happened to Deb and DB? Hope your are all well...I'll bbl to catch up a bit...

Good morning ladies,

Classic/Phase 3/Week 3/Day 6

Today was KenpoX and I brought it good. Got a phone call on the last move, at the end of the 100 plus vertical punches. It was my Mom calling to say that my Dad gets to come home this morning. Wahoo! I'll swing by their house today later on to see him. I have my grandson's Awana (church group kids program) relay meet today at 1:00 and will try to get an easy spin on my bike in afterwards. Didn't get one in yesterday after work. Just came home and got drawn to this darned computer instead. Also, the wind was blowing a little and I knew it would be a gorgeous day today so thought I'd put it off. Not unhappy with that decision at all!

For everyone wondering about an ab routine that is effective, here's what the Hardcore ladies suggested and they know their stuff:

From Lorajc:

"Netta - I'd have to say Tracey Staehle's core workout is good, as it's different and it's about the only thing that I can get my abs sore from lately ....other than Barry's Bootcamp (but that's an entire set). I will tell you one move to try from Barry's though. Do a jacknive off of your step (long ways) feet off the end and hold a 10 pound dumbell....they do them in Barry's and they make you real sore. He does do some static holds in the sets too. Tracey does a lot of static hold, isometric moves and they are unique....so work your abs different. The DVD is well chaptered so you can actually do it in segments, rather than the entire 45 minute workout. I have never done the entire thing. Diane Sue has. I'm sure she'll pipe in. I know she does a lot of hanging leg raises and rollouts and such with weights....so I'm sure she'll have some good advice for you. It's funny that you get so used to Ab Ripper towards the end....that it's almost easy."

From Diana Sue "WD":

"Netta,as far as ab workouts dvd's my favorites that I really feel right now are Tracy Staehle's Core Conditioning. This is a long workout but really packs a good burn. The other is Amy Bento All Pump Extreme ab segment 14 minutes and pretty tough. She does use gliding discs in this one. I finally purchased them but at first I did the side walking planks/pikes with my feet on the ball instead of gliding discs and kneeling barbell rollouts instead of pushing and pulling the discs. I like the standing core work on this with the dumbbell a lot and the crab/to planks. You can up the intensity on any of Cathe's with more resistance. I do like variety though."

I think for sure I'm going to order Tracy Staehle's Core Conditioning.

Traci, sorry the tortilla chips didn't agree with you. I absolutely sometimes can't keep my hand out of the bag. Glad DH has been eating better lately and he didn't buy them, or at least he didn't bring them into the house so no temptation there. I've been eating my 1 complex carb serving in the morning and none at night, which has really helped my bloating and water weight this week. I'm enjoying the leanness look again :7. Just started reading Tosca's book last night. Thanks for asking about my Dad. They took him off the oxygen yesterday, but his oxygen levels weren't so good this morning so he will have to be on oxygen at night. He was before, but quit doing it as he said he didn't feel any different. He's sooo old fashioned and set in his ways. I get angry sometimes because he doesn't try to improve his health. Sigh. We watched the Bourne Supremacy last night, which is the 2nd one my DH said. Now I'll have to get the Bourne Identity to get a better background. It was good. Good leg workout today, huh? I hate it when my legs are big with water. Haven't had that so much lately for some reason. Loving it.

Tracy, I looked at the Lowmax Leg Blast and it looks really good. I'll have to print it out and use it.

Steph, enjoy your yoga today. Don't know anything about the Cabi party.

Sandra, sounds like you've bounced back really well from your little bug. My energy has been sky high too. I've got to hang on for 2 more weeks, but so far feel awesome. Hey, we're in this together and Debra too. I really like Shiva Rea's Yoga Shakti but mostly use the matrix to program for my own length of time, ending of course with shavasana. I've done the premixes a few times. Glad your DH will be getting on the trainer soon. A long time ago, not long after I got my trainer (given to me), I was pedaling away like crazy, but hadn't tightened the thing that goes on the back axle enough. It came loose, and my bike and I careened off and to the side, crashing into my stereo. No one hurt, but now I make sure it is very secure. I have done some of the SJP/SB combos. They make me happy, plus I like variety. I'm going to do some searching about emphyzema and lung transplants on the net. Mom and Dad seem to just go along with what this doctor here says, not really checking out anything new. Believe me, this doctor is not on the cutting edge. I'd just like to find some ways to help him, but of course, he's the one that will have to incorporate any changes that might help. Re: movies, off the top of my head one of my DH's favorites is Tombstone. We also like Quigley Down Under. I liked The Conspiracy Theory. Got to think some more as they're just not popping into my mind right now. Oh yes, count me in on personalized P90X shirts. I'd love one! Of course if I have any money left after ordering 100 Dreya posters.

Better go get busy. Think I will order Tracy's Core Conditioning DVD.

Jeanette

Hi Debra,

Glad you have nothing as far as falling to report. Good workout, that shoveling of snow is. I always feel it in my back. I'll have to rent Little Miss Sunshine. Hope you have a great day today!

Jeanette

Hi all,

I just finished CTX kickbock minus the bicep work, KPC combinations, and Cardio Kicks drills at the end. It was a nice workout and I used my weighted gloves up until Cardio Kicks then took them off because I didn't like the way my left arm was feeling in the delt.

Jeanette- thanks for getting the info about the abs. I think I'm going to have to find the $$ to get the Tracey S. dvd. I posted something on the OD and it was recommended there too. I'd definitely look into the help care for your father. My FIL was very sick this past year and if hadn't been for my BIL he would have died. I really think that you have to be educated and either have one, or be your own advocate.

Debra - Hooray! A day on your feet!

Tracy

Hi everyone. I really don't have time to post too much as I am trying to get the kitchen all painted and finished today. But I did do the full version of BodyMax 2, but only with one riser and not two, which was enough. OMG, that workout kicked my a**. By the time I got to arms, I couldn't even lift all of the reps with the 15's and 5's that Cathe wants us to use. I actually had to drop down to 12's. I was so ashamedx( . The abs also. My my. For 9 minutes, she can kick your abs on this one too. I will have to give this workout a big thumbs up and will definately do it again. I hope that I can move tomorrow.

And, my toe is feeling better. Someone, I think that it was Sandra suggested that I cut it off, and so I did;) .

I hope that everyone has a great Saturday and I will try to read posts later.

Bye. Lea

Back again! KenpoX and KM Blast Challenge are in the bag for another week. Only one more week!! Woohoo!! Funny to think that in the previous two phases I'd be starting a recovery week already. Phase 3 has flown by so far. Must be due to the added variety of workouts in this phase.

I'm thinking that I may not do another full P90X rotation, but just do 4 weeks of it every now and again, just to keep myself polished up. I think I could handle doing weeks 9-12 maybe every three months or so. This is just a thought so far.

So quite a few of us are interested in the t-shirts, then? Maybe we can make it happen!

Steph - check out the link I posted to the t-shirt ordering website. I haven't done much playing around with it yet, but a bunch of members from the Cheetah check-in got some from there. And what an idiot I can be sometimes!! OF COURSE Little Miss Sunshine is already on dvd! We RENTED the dang thing to watch it! I'm smacking myself upside the head. Oooooh, now I can go buy it! :) :)

Lea - so glad to hear you got rid of that pesky toe! Good riddance to bad rubbish :) Happy painting! I look forward to trying BM2 as produced. I only did it once that way before starting the X. And like you, I was surprised to find that I struggled with the 15s and had to drop to 12s. I'm hoping I'll do better after finishing P90X! But she goes really fast, doesn't she? That makes a big difference.

TraciX - that scrambled eggs premix is reputed to be tough. Good work!!!! I won't even bother to ask what "project" you are helping DH work on ;)

Jeanette - OMG I don't know if you were trying to be funny, but I howled to hear that someone actually fell off a stationary bike! I'm sorry, but that's funny. I'm glad you weren't hurt. Strangely, I have seen NONE of your favourite movies. My list of Movies To See When I Can Stay Awake Long Enough continues to grow....Bourne Identity is better than Bourne Supremecy, IMO. Are you using those Dreya posters as wallpapers instead of painting a room?

Debra - so glad you've remained upright so far today. You must be gaining core strength. Keep up the good work! :)

TracyX - well that was certainly the industrious, creative kickboxing workout. Very very nice!

Time to go clean a hamster cage (insert grimacing face with nose plugged here).

Cheers,
Sandra

TracyX check out this link! A kind person on the OD dug it up for me. (and there's a few others beside it that look interesting, too). It's funny, but when I first viewed this video last March, I thought "Ridiculously out of my league." Now I look at it and think, "Uh...maybe?"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20SzmhFsc1E

Enjoy!
Sandra

Hi Sandra - OK, so my goal is to be able to do those roll outs from a standing position. I've got to find something that I can actually roll out. I don't think that we have any lawnmower tires floating around. That will give me something to work on! Did you see those switch grip pull ups? OMG, if anyone saw my clumbsy switch from pull to chip ups they would laugh! The guy has a website and sells books and other stuff. Not sure I'm there yet, but maybe once I can do a total of 10 wide grip pull ups and 20 chin ups LOL!

And then there's those plyo pushups with the clap behind???? You'll be the star for that move. I'm still on my knees......I guess I need to put the plyo pushups back in my next rotation......

Thanks for looking, I've been looking off and on all evening and haven't found the magic bullet.
