Happy Sunday!
I can tell its day 25 of cycle- no more than 4 hours sleep any night for a week now- Wish I had all months like June- PMS/ttom came & went without a mention…. And that ENERGY SandraX gets the week before was a heavenly experience!

SAFE TRAVELS DAY :* to TracyX & a big HAPPY FACE DAY :7 after seeing WendyX come out of hiding! Officially feeling x( DUMPED by Amy!

Today shall be either (see below) or TOTAL REST:
Day 1 of 22 - “2-parts per Day plus 1” Rotation
Cardio Stack Intervals 30m
Shoulders & Back: HSTA + C&W

DH & I heading out to breakfast this morning- we haven’t done “breakfast” in eons! He’s usually fishing before dawn…. The plan is to come back get my pics taken and posted- but yesterday’s plan was to get my oil changed and a/c filters changed and those didn’t get done so I imagine its about 50/50 on the pics right now! LOL- :D Good thing he’s a great DH in all other respects!

ΨTeddyGirl:
Your service yesterday sounds like just what you needed! It’s great that you have a place of worship that provides that for you. I had to LOL at your “having coffee then going to nap” THAT’S WHAT I DO! Drink coffee- go nap! LOL

ΨTracyX:
I totally get the cardio hunger and will anxiously read everyone’s cures as I have not been able to overcome that little obstacle! Did my Cardio Stack mention give you dejavue? You and I haven’t mentioned that one in AGES! LOL

ΨSandraX
Can’t wait to hear all about the bread yesterday! I LOVE warm crusty bread/ butter/coffee… If I could live on that I sure would!

ΨDebraX:
Great MishMosh of Kenpo & Yoga the other day! Look at that creativity BUSTING thru!! LOL I was surprised that music/cues only on strength was really cool the other day so I will probably do all that way once I hit my ENOUGH wall next round! The music is totally cool and you really get to hear that when you cut the chatter. I can tell that you were feeling a bit off yesterday… Lord knows I understand having to get past the “no love” feelings & w/o’s! Hope mom time was what the Dr ordered. ***** OMG- You are a saint of a mother! A ROCK MACHINE? Good lord woman that would send me over the edge! LOL **** Glad your nap helped yesterday… I think the world appears VERY different on well rested brains! **** The mules are just too cute! LOL on washing hands… Their spit is probably cleaner than the cart handles at the grocery store! LOL *** Thanks for asking about Sandy… Well I got her “dried up” but the jurys still out as she hasn’t poo’ed since yesterday mid morning… at least she slept last night (although I didn’t!) Hope Squeeze hit the spot yesterday… sometimes I just feel like nothing will- brain disconnects I guess!

ΨCheryl:
LOVELY you got to sleep in AND woke up rarin’ to go! My “sleep in’s” are usually followed by cobwebs all day… Girl- I don’t think ANY person going to meet Cathe for first time ever feels like they are “in peak form”. You are such a beautiful (inside & out) person that I hope not one second of your adventure is spent on “if only I’d thoughts.” I am just so excited that there will be first account pics & stories from you lucky devils in the weeks & months to come! LOL on Plyo Legs…. It is a bit deceptive if you start with PlyoX… Plyo X is about staying power for me especially knowing you have to do everything TWICE! Plyo legs is more a mix of PlyoX + Legs X (L&B)…. Its actually a better w/o for me in that my jumper legs get “rest” with the LegX moves that I LOVE so I can go full speed the entire w/o vs PlyoX TUCKERS ME OUT half way thru. I actually started doing Plyo X in reverse order just so I could give my all to the later exercises. Hope Sunday family dinner is filled with laughter and joy and no drama!

ΨNicoleX:
You sure sounded productive yesterday! Glad you enjoyed your LIC time- It’s a great DVD! Hope the shopping provided you with stretch time too!

ΨWendyX:
What a LOVELY surprise this morning!!!! You are missed GREATLY these past few days but I am stoked to hear you are w/o again! WOOHOO!!!!! How’s that foot? LOL on your personals…. Your rendition of Traci’s Life was not quite on target but you got the jest of it so no worries! I’ll be sure and set you straight if anything major occurs! LOLOLOL**** We are no longer in sync- my fault- started a few days early last month …. I’ll be back with ya soon I’m sure! BALISTIC HUGS back at ya!!!

GREAT SHORT ARTICLE!

No, I haven't dumped my bestest buddies!!! This last week has been so hectic!!! I worked Sunday and Monday nights, sat in class with DH all day Tuesday and didn't get home until after 4p! I stayed up until about 7p, so officially, I was up for 27 hours that day!!! Wednesday was all about trying to catch up on sleep, which wasn't all that successful and Thursday was back in class!!! The diabetic class for Dave was excellent!!! I really didn't learn a whole lot for myself, it was all a recap of basis Weight Watchers teachings as well as what I have taught myself over the past several months with regards to carbohydrates and stuff. Of course, with all that was going on, eating was hit-and-miss!!! Between that and TTOM, the diet was NOT pretty!!! I was fortunate to be able to sleep all day Friday and catch up on sleep!!! I haven't even had a chance to check my email for a couple of weeks!!!

Oh, I figured out this last week that I have a new workout buddy! Jellibean likes to play with his plastic milk ring while I'm working out. I haven't decided if it's because of the music I play, or because he's just gotten into that habit, but it's a lot of fun to have him out and about with me!

I am fading and my brain is wandering, but I just wanted to sneak in and say, "hi" to everyone here and that I have missed you and think about you all the time! I will check back in later!

:*

Morning:) :)

Popped in before starting part 2 of my workout this beautiful morning. Lots to do before heading out to church. I feel really good this morning about LIFE must say thank you Lord, we all know that he is good;-) ;-) ;-)

Last night workout did not happen x(I laid there and napped, woke up laid there just watching the tv, then I finally got me buns up and did some chores.

I just finished an hour jog on treadie, now about to push play going too bring it with P90X C&B, but first need to make me a protein drank lol :+ :+ I will be back after all is said and done.:) :D

Hi there ladies!!! Just wanted to let you know that ttom finally started yesterday and I have never been so happy about it! Hopefully in the next day or so I will be out of my funk and back to my regular perky self. DD also has art camp this week which is good 'cause we're kind of getting sick of each other...LOL! We have a neighbor girl that she plays with...and she's a really good kid...but their family is super duper religious and they have been asking DD to go to church with them...which I am just not comfortable with. I know that my DD needs some moral guidance, and we are going to start going to a church...but it will be the one of my choosing and not the ultra fundamentalist one that my neighbors go to!

Anyhoo...Had fun with Squeeze yesterday. I really like her as an instructor..which I actually don't say too often! I hope she has some more dvds out soon. The only thing that bugs me is during the arms part she keeps saying "almost done" when you're really not...LOL! The arms section is by far the toughest for me. I have to pause the dvd frequently...whereas I don't have to for the rest of the workout. I will be glad if someday I can keep my arms up in the air as long as she does. I am thinking I am going to do a Jennifer Kries pilates workout today. I should be ready to jump back into my rotation after that...I think!

Just a chuckle...I am doing the ab section of Squeeze and Polly comes up to visit...I look over and she is wearing one of DD's bracelets on her front paw. She didn't even seem to notice...apparently DD was adding a little bling to the pooch!

Personals....

Wendy...So glad to see you!!! Hope your neighbors son got some sleep after you left his room last night. It sounds like things are starting to get back to normal for you guys. Working out again and everything! I will be happy to see your smiling face more often when you get your computer up and running.

Amy....So glad to see you too!! Was worried that some crazy patient had done you in! I hope your husband enjoyed the diabetes class too. It is such a dangerous disease to have...but I know can be controlled fairly easily. Glad you have company when you workout...my pooch is usually with me, but she is so big she gets in the way! Take care of yourself and get some rest.

TG...Oh, well...sorry you didn't get your workout in, but at least you got some chores done and some much needed rest! Enjoy CB today...give Tony a little kiss for me. Life is good isn't it?

Traci...Sorry about your sleeping habits around ttom! I know that must be frustrating. DD and I are going out to breakfast, too...after we check on the rocks in the darn tumbler...which let me add I can hear in the downstairs family room with the door closed! Good luck on getting those pics done today...You're not going to wait until you get your great new outfits from O My Bod? I think that once you are used to the X workouts again, it is nice to stop all of the noise. I may even try Legs and Back again if I don't have to listen to Dreya moaning! Hope Sandy is feeling better...Maybe all she needed was a good night's sleep too.

Well...I'm off for now...Gotta check on the rocks and then head out for breakfast...then pilates and then laundry and then finish up the guest bedroom....and then hang some pictures...after I get another measuring tape...I seem to have misplaced my other one....bbl to check on everyone!

Happy day to all!!

I just had to tell you guys about the progress that I have made:) in since a short time :) I did push ups 16 big boys and again 16 on my knees, I am faster too. Chin-up BIG improvement even with using my chair, Dive Bombers 12 on toes, the first time could barely do 8 on my knees, OMG my form is tigher everything is good:7 :7 I am almost finish with round two. It always take me longer bc I take 1 to 2 minutes breaks. So happy :)

Good morning,

You'll have to pardon my absence for a bit today. I got a new 80gb Ipod last night, and I'm off to see what I do with it at the iTunes website. I'll be back to check out TraciX's latest link (sounds great!), the cake links from a few days ago ( :9 :9 ) and respond to all the personals.

For those of us on TTOM watch (relief for DebraX, yay!), it's immanent, and I've gone into power mode.

I'm supposed to do MIC today, was going to sub, but am now thinking I could care less about doing anything at all. It's the final day of the rotation, I probably have the best energy of any other time of the month to do it, but tomorrow I'm supposed to start my new rotation with BM2 cardio timesaver premix: should I force myself to do it, or take a bonus rest day? I haven't done any cardio since Thursday, and that was kind of brief. Yesterday I did Muscle Max, then PYFH Strong, Free & Happy. Skipped the abs in the yoga, because MM toasted them well enough. Finally realized yesterday that Eoinn puts in bonus segments in all of the premixes. Yeah, some times I'm a bit slow.

Love you all, and will be back in a bit. If you tell me to skip my workout, I'll be back even quicker. And "skipping" is still an activity, so I'll still get some benefits, right?

Cheers,
SandraX

PY4H

It's a rest day and I'm going to do PY4H!!! Aren't you all proud:) My DH is going to be home ALL week so my posts will be a bit shorter unless I can get them in when he's on a bike ride:) I just want him to think I slave away all day and never sit:)LOL:D Really quick,

Traci-X, Excited to see those pictures!!!

TracyX, Have a fun and safe trip home!

Anointed, Great progress on the upper body!!

WendyX, Glad you could snag the computer and chat for a second:) See you Wednesday!

Amy, Sounds like a tough week! Glad you're back:)

SandraX, Busy cake baking? I'm glad TTOM gives you energy! I wish it was that for me:) Go Discovery!!

JeanetteX, Go Levi!!! Go Levi!! What a great race!!! Hope you are enjoying it:)

DebraX, Glad you had a nap and felt better:) Funny how we get excited for TTOM to start. I guess the faster it starts the faster it's over:D

LaurieXX, Enjoying your rotation this week? You should try the May 07' next month, it's really fun!

Cheryl, I had a blast with LIC yesterday. I can't believe I had traded that one away. So glad for birthday presents that include Cathe:)

I know I missed someone but I can't be late for church today:)

Hi, everyone -

Nicole, I thought about you and LIC this morning as I did the first half of cardio fusion (which includes that long sequence from LIC that I like best) plus all of Step Fit for a nice 85 minute steady state cardio session.

Teddygirl, like you I'm checking in midworkout - deciding whether to finish up with weights. I'm thinking yes. Maybe chest and tri's. We'll see.

Debra, glad the TTOM finally appeared!!

Amy, glad you're still alive and well!!! Can't wait to meet you in person in 2 weeks!

Wendy, so glad to hear you are well!

Traci, I hope your puppies are feeling better this morning!! (We always call our dogs the puppies, even full grown ... although our little Jack Russell and MinnPinn would constitute nothing more than a playtoy snack for your boys :+ :+ :+

Shish-ke-bobs for dinner today. Yum.

Have a great afternoon, everyone!

Cheryl

Hey...Are any of you guys getting the Cardio Coach Pump? There's no unusual exercises in the program...but I would be interested to hear how Shawn executes them....Just wondering if anyone else was interested...

YES! I got my computer to work!!!! I loaded windows by the last good known configuration. Don't know what that means, but the darn computer loaded. However, It's not safe for me to be here! Norton can't get Auto Protect on. So, I have a red banner above this window stating: Browsing not safe: Auto-Protect off. I should be trying to fix this right now. But, oh well. I'd rather chat with y'all first and read. ;-) I'll take this computer into the shop for a good cleaning once my new one arrives.

Now, I'm off to read, read, read! Ooooo! Curiosity got the best of me!}( I did read the post y'all were talking about over on Ask Cathe before heading here. My thoughts... Okay, whatever, get over it and move on.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!!!!
Wendy

I'm taking an unscheduled pause in the to-do list to enjoy some me-time with my favourite group of Cathe-ites.

I almost skipped today's workout, but convinced myself that it was at least worth a try. So, I threw on some workout clothes and pushed play on MIC. The workout went just fine. I workout in an unair-conditioned basement, and even with the fan blowing on me the whole time, I was still soaked when I was finished. You could have wrung the sweat of my clothes. Yuck. Since the kids were agreeable with me doing a bit more, I changed into some dry clothes, and did Yoga Shakti: Prana Yoga (looooooove that segment), moon salutations, twists and forward bends, and meditation. The kids joined me for some of it, and even did the meditation. Very sweet. I felt so much better for having done the workout.

Okay, so what did the rest of you get up to today? I'll go look......

TraciX - are you saying you had a pms-power surge last month? Coooool. I wish you were experiencing it again this month. You said way to many nice things to me yesterday. I can no longer fit my tiara on my swollen head. I am a lowly Research Assistant. The goverment contracted the study to be done by an organization that is based at the university. The director of the organization is someone I did work for a couple years ago, and the organization did not have the man-power to do the project in the time the government wanted it done, but they wanted to create this bridge with them, so the director contacted me and asked if I wanted to do it. They are the Principle Investigators. The genesis of the project and the interview questions were devised by the Higher Ups. I get to execute the plan, analyse the data (both qualitative and quantitative), and write the report. It will go back to the Principle Investigators, who will add their 2-cents, then it will go to the government. It's out of my hands at that point, so how and when it will be disseminated is anyone's guess. I agree with you that I hope it doesn't fall on deaf ears.

Amy - Thanks for the quick hello! We all lead such busy lives, it's nice when people take the time to send us a message. I hope this week settles down for you.

Anointed - Excellent work with CB today! You are going to love the results of 13 weeks of this weight work.

DebraX - LOL about Dolly's bling! That's adorable. Is art camp an all-day, or half-day thing? I agree with you about being cautious of the neighbours. Spirituality and moral guidance is not something to be forced on another family. I remember our 5 year old neighbour's child trying to "save" the other neighbour's 3 year old, and it wasn't appreciated at all by the 3 year old's parents. I have Squeeze and haven't tried it yet because Cathe hasn't put it in any of her rotations :) I figure I'll get to it eventually. It sounds like a good one. What is a rock tumbler, and why does it have to run for 3-4 days straight? Can it be powered by a hamster wheel? I hadn't heard of CC Pump until today. I checked out the website, and it looks like some pretty straight-forward weight stuff. I think between my Cathes and P90X, I'm all good in that department. If he'd offered a body-weight resistance circuit that could be done outdoors with no equipment, I'd have been interested. I like the idea of running a bit, doing some j-jacks, running some more, doing some push ups, etc.

NicoleX - I'm still astonished to see Discovery on the podium, and one of their members wearing yellow!!!! How crazy is it that he rides his very first Tour....and WINS!?! He must be pinching himself. What a fascinating race this year. I look forward to the new era of cycling, where we might actually get to watch "real" cyclists.

Cheryl - I enjoy Step Fit! It's got a really nice pace, and a terrific stretch at the end.

WendyX - Terrific!! You have some way to talk with us until the New Baby arrives!! What are you going to name your new computer? I had a lap top once that I named Daisy, and painted a big white daisy on the carrying case. I've named my new iPod Ivy. What's this about you hogging a young boy's room for your internet surfing indulgences? Tsk tsk, I hope you bake your neighbours lots of cookies at Christmas. IIRC from last night's post (too lazy to re-read), you're going away again for a few days, aren't you?

TracyX - You're having a fantastic trip!! I like the way you spend your summers! I think you're probably right about liking the effects of doing more yoga. I already see increased hip flexibility, with 3 consecutive days of 30min - 1 hr sessions. ;

JeanetteX - Howdy, Friend! I hope all is well in your world.

I'm going to go check out TraciX's links, then bake a cake for Tuesday's class (last one in Level One), possibly mix up the icing for it, tidy up the kitchen, finish the laundry, then go to bed. Whew. My house is dreadfully untidy, but I think we're all used to it now, so there's no urgency in cleaning it up. Except that it drives me crazy...........

Have a great evening,
SandraX

I'd better post personals before I get the blue screen of death AGAIN! Got it already when trying to open AOL. Will not do that again!!!

Traci-X: Thanks for the article. Tony is such a good motivator! Hope you had a wonderful breakfast with Wendell! Breakfast foods are my favorite dinner meal!:7 Oh, my foot. Well, it's better. It's still very tender at the middle's tippity top. It mainly bothers me when I slide on a sneaker. I try to avoid touching it as much as possible. Sorry, I didn't quite get the full gist of what's going on in your life. Hopefully, all is centered in your world today! And, you're not to blame for not being in sync with me. Remember, I started earlier than you last month too! I have those short 24 day cycles. I'll cycle around to being everyone's TTOM Sister by the time we're in sync again!;-)

Cheryl: What's this I hear about you not feeling at your peak in order to meet Cathe and all the rest of us RTrippers? Girl!!! I will put $$ down that you're in better shape at your lowest than I am at my peak!!! I have a DIFFICULT time with any form of cardio and endurance! And, how many workouts are there scheduled for Saturday? 4? 5? However many there are, you can rest assured I'll be modifying like crazy!!! I'm getting my groove on in the back where no one will be able to die laughing from watching me!!!}(

Amy: Sounds like you are a busy lady these days! Even though you already knew most of the material presented in the diabetic class, I bet it meant a lot to your dh to have you there with him! You're such a good wife!!! Get plenty of rest. The RT is just around the corner! Maybe, you can sneak Jellybean in with us!!!;-)

Teddygirl: Are you doing Doubles with the X? Good for you! I barely had enough energy to do the classic rotation!

Debra-X: Yea!!! TTOM is always a good thing to get outta the way. Ahhh, Polly is blessed to have a little bling in her life! I'm holding my breath for the day dd discovers she can paint Baby's toenails! Is your dd going to be gone for the entire week or only during the days? Dd would be jealous to hear about an art camp; especially after I bursted her bubble about going to the Franklin Institute's Spy Camp. There's no way in God's creation I'm spending the night with a bunch of strangers sleeping on cold marble floors. There's not enough DDCoffee in the world!!!!!!! Oh! Speaking of God.... so you've got yourself one of those types of neighbors? }( }( }( I'm sooo bad!!! Well considering I once hosted a weekly afterschool Bible Club in my home for the neighbor kids, I shouldn't talk! LOL To my defense, it wasn't a religion specific club though. Anyhow, I can understand about being a bit leery of fundamentalist type churches. Many have a tendency to bring out legalism in people. Then again, I've seen people thrive, grow, and love others in these kinds of churches. I think God has taught me to see that He can't be limited to one denomination, building, or religion. Once I find that perfect church, they won't want me there ruining it!!!LOL Where you live now, there's a TON of fundamental churches. Shoot! Aren't you just down the road from Bob Jones University? I'll throw my body in front of dd's car if she tries to attend BJU!!!! Or Pensacola Bible College!!!! Some of my homeschooling aquaintances force their dc to attend. Then, they shield their dc from talking to me because they don't know what will come out of my mouth! }( They shouldn't worry. I just tell those college kids that they signed the paper stating that they would abide by those rules. And, just because they agreed to obey them doesn't mean that they believe them to be Truth. See, my gf was wrong when she said that I shouldn't be allowed to be around children after learning that I don't tell my dc Santa is real.}( :7 ;-) About Squeeze and Shawn: Lalalalala I'm not listening! I can't afford any dvds or downloads or ipods right now. Saving my pennies for the RT. I plan on buying GS there. :)

Sandra-X: I'm so jealous of your power mode PMS week! That's just not right!!!! Oh, I forgot... Life's not fair!;( I'm not telling you to skip!:p :p :p Enjoy your i-pod!!! You deserve a treat for all the hard work you do!

Nicole-X: Don't ya just love Eoin! Can anyone tell me how to pronounce his name!!!! The yoga instructor where I buy my overpriced Be Present pants corrected my pronunciation of Shiva's name. I pronounced it with a long i sound. Apparently, it's with a short vowel sound. Who knew. }(

Well, I've procrastinated LONG enough. Going to do Butts and Gutts right now. Say a little prayer for me in the morning as I know I'll be suffering some severe DOMS. Well, actually, you should pray for the girls as I will be having them walk on my legs and glutes until I recover. I'll be back late Wednesday night. Stay sweet!

Sweet Dreams to ALL!!!
Wendy

Hi all of you wonderful Xers!

I feel like I got a lot done in the house today..Many pictures hung...a few more boxes unpacked and the guest room is ready for my friend to come next weekend. I did not do as much laundry as I should have...but I guess it will be there for me tomorrow since the laundry fairies seem to miss my house all the time!

Cheryl...Hope the kabobs were yummy!

Nicole...Hope you are having a great weekend with your family! Don't you just love Eion?!?

Sandra...Glad to hear a little more about your research project. How long do you anticipate this lasting for you? My DD is not being nearly as cooperative as yours when it comes to working you! She keeps coming in to visit....Now keep in mind I don't see her all day...I pop in a video and she suddenly appears...like a puff of smoke! What a good girl you were to do your workout as planned...and adding some on too! Art camp is just in the mornings...but hopefully I'll be able to get in my workout then...in peace! Sounds like you have a busy evening ahead. The rock tumbler...it is this cylinder that spins and you add different grinding agents...it takes 2 days for the stones to get smooth..then you put some other kind of grinding agent in..then you put something else in...then finally you put in the stuff to make them shiny...A hamster could probably power it...hence the reason it takes so long to do this process!

Wendy...Coincidentally the fundamental neighbors also home school! I am sure their church is a great place...for them! I am just not into all the evangelical side of religion...Just a personal thing for me. We are planning on joining the Unitarian church here...once I get a few moments to breathe. DD's camp is just mornings...but she definitely needs the time away from me. I am waiting to reply to your email when you have your new computer up and running. Have fun with BG tonight...and I have a very strange mental picture of your children walking on you!

OH MY!!! Where does Cathe think up this stuff!!! Does she wake up from a nightmare in the middle of the night and jot down all these moves for her next dvd?!?!! Gotta spread the hate!!! Yes, this was the first time doing B&G as produced. HELLO! Why didn't anyone tell me to look under the ankle weights chapters for more floorwork a couple of weeks ago! I thought there were only two floor exercises. LOL I was WRONG! OUCH! I couldn't even do them all!!! By the time she was kneeling on her elbows doing those darn pizzas in the air pulses, I was in child's pose crying for mercy!:7 Oh, keep in mind, I didn't even pull out the ankle weights! I didn't even heavy up my barbell. I kept it where I had it last at 20 pounds. The weight wasn't the issue. It was the freaking endurance and endless low end pulses. My butt was shaking!!! I need to up my protein and do this earlier in the day. OH! And I didn't even tack on those bonus exercises!!! CRAZY!

Enough of my complaining, moaning, and groaning! I'm taking B&G with me this week. I'm going to master that darn floor work if it kills me!!!! So what if my thighs blow up into two stale marshmellows and my glutes morph into deadly weapons! I will overcome! }(

Debra-X: LOLOLOL I thought they homeschooled!!! LOLOLOLOL Now, you know why I don't join any homeschooling co-ops! I'm soooo evil!!!}( Really though, it's not to avoid certain types of people. I just don't want to get stuck teaching other people's kids or babysitting. Lord knows I don't need angry parents complaining about what I say to their children!!!:7 All I do in Bible Club is think of fun relay games and bring a snack for 60 children every 5 weeks. I thought about sending the twins to public school this year. I was feeling insecure about their reading skills. Then out of the blue, Shelby read the first paragraph of her older sister's original Nancy Drew book. I couldn't believe it! Next, I had her read a graded Amish reader. (Yes, Amish! What can I say?:7 They have cute stories. Um, except for a couple of times where the author alludes to the kids getting spanked. But, that part goes over the girls' heads. sigh) Anyhow, she even read the teacher's part without pause. It was just the encouragement I needed to go at least another year. I'm sure you'll find a great church on your OWN. :) Be forewarned... Eldest dd has a rock fettish. She fills her pockets with assorted rocks from who knows where. I usually find them when removing clothes out of the washer.x(

Ooooo!!!! Phil finished tiling part of the countertops. He wants me to take a look see. Yippee!!! I just may have a sink and cooktop when I return!

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!
Wendy

Hi all!

Think the last time I posted was Thursday or Friday night? Just been too busy, but now that the Tour is over, I can post in the mornings again, right after my workout and as I'm eating my beloved oatmeal. I didn't get to see all of the stage today or the final podium ceremony as I had a bike ride this morning (43 miles) and then DH and I took the Rhino and the dogs out for a wonderful 46 mile ride. We went to an area that we'd never explored before and the scenery was spectacular. He definitely wants to go back to that area and camp sometime.

Friday afternoon after work, I went to the golf course with a friend and hit some balls on the driving range. It was a definite learning experience as I was getting tips from 3 different people on how to swing. Traci, I know you have an image of me being this fantastic golfer, but fuget about it! I may go out this week and play, and my DH may go along too. He actually did some chipping today, he's a natural and has never even had a golf club in his hand before.

Saturday morning, I watched the Tour (way to go Levi!!!), and DH and I drove to Reno to get the grout and some other stuff. We had a birthday party in the afternoon for our daughter and granddaughter (they share the same birthday). When we got home, I grouted one wall.

Oh yeah, no workout yesterday, but did do a bike ride today. Will get back on track with the 2nd week of the May '07 premix rotation. My forearm is really sore today, not sure if it is from the golfing or from wringing out the sponge so much while grouting. Hope it's better tomorrow.

Okay, on to personals:

Traci, I sure hope you can get a good night's sleep tonite. I've been short of sleep myself, but self inflicted what with watching the Tour until midnight some nights this week to catch the last part of the stage that I miss each morning. Hope TTOM is uneventful for you. Hope breakfast out with DH was nice. I missed breakfast out with DH and DS today as I elected to do the Sunday morning group bike ride instead.

Hi Amy! You have been a busy girl for sure! Hope life's demands ease up soon for you. I've been somewhat busy too this past week or so. Glad you have a workout buddy. When I start the ceiling fan before my workout, the dogs HAVE to go outside. It's like a Pavlov's dog thing.

Anointed, glad you are having a fine morning. Way to go on your upper body strength progress. Tony is just so motivating, isn't he?

Debra, glad TTOM arrived for you. I have Squeeze and like Tracy too. Glad your DD's riding lesson went well. Does she get to have another lesson? Did she like it? Yep, strong legs is a must for riding English and jumping. More so, IMO than Western riding. Not sure I'm going to get the Cardio Coach Pump. I'll have to wait and hear more reviews.

Sandra, you and The Flight of the Bumblebee (AKA MIC). I like the hi-lo until it gets into the higher impact stuff and the Irish jig sounding music. I missed the podium today, guess I could stay up late tonite and see the end, may do that. Contador seems so very, very young! Wow, the talent!! Personally, though, I was really rooting for Levi to win, but it's all good. Sounds like you are enjoying your cake decorating class. I'd just be too tempted to squeeze the icing straight into my mouth.

Wendy, oooooh, glad the computer is working. Are you still getting the new one? I pronounce Shiva's name with a long e sound, like Sheeeva. Hope B&G is a goody for you but that you recover quickly from the DOMS. I had them really bad the first time I did that one, but never had them so much after that. I did B&G Overall Legs premix the other day and enjoyed it, you repeat the floor work with ankle weights.

Must get to doing some more reading. See you all in the morning!

Jeanette

Nicole, I know the feeling of trying to not be on the computer all the time. I've got so much I need to do, and this darned computer is such a temptation. Glad you will still be able to post. I am so happy for Levi to get third and win the Time Trial! You know, I listen to him talk and I think to myself that this guy is a "clean" cyclist and has integrity. I swear, if he is ever proven to be doping, all faith in my judgment of people is out the window. Even with the negative events of this year's tour, I really enjoyed it all, the commentators, the scenery (spectacular helicopter shots) and the suffering. Hated seeing the dogs get hit on the road by the riders, but they seem to be okay (riders and dogs). I hate encountering dogs out on my rides, so afraid I will hit one and fall. And yes, I'm proud of you for doing yoga on a rest day.

Cheryl, hope the shishkabobs were good! Nice workout for you today!
