HIIT done!! I wanted to get that done and out of the way before getting on the plane. For some reason, working out before a flight seems to make it easier on me energy-wise.

I am so excited to meet many of youse!!!!:7 :7 :7

Morning Xers!
I'm still on sabatical but I jsut had to wave to those leaving on the jet planes to see our Cathe! Hugs to all R/T Xers.... We want lots of pictures & stories!!! The more sobbing, tripping on steps, lack of sleep, tongue tied intros, 5 minutes of fame stuff the better!!!

Happy Monday Birthday to Laurie if I dont get a chance to hang out!!!!:*

Morning,

TraciX: Hurry back I miss talking to you. How is your baby doing?

This morning, I did Butts & Guts leg blast that was it for me. Is everyone gone?

I’m going to continue on with P90X upper body this is week three, tomorrow me doing chest & back ;-) :)

Morning Ladies,

Rotation: Cathe's July '07
Workout: Week 3/Day 4/Imax 2 Premix 2 plus BC Abs

We had a great time at the State Fair. The weather was wonderful. There wasn't a huge pig this year as in years past. :D But there sure where some noisy ones. We enjoyed seeing the grand champion steer. I had a chance to eat a bison burrito, which was very good. The whole family had something from the Wisconsin Pavillion. This area features all items that have been produced in the state. The girls enjoyed looking at the display of the cranberry bogs. I resisted the temptation to have a cranberry muffin. Oh so love cranberries. :) Of course we had ice cream, and couldn't leave without having some fried cheese curds (everyone enjoyed in consuming these). As we where leaving the fair we could hear all the teenage girls screaming for either Jake Bell or Corbin Bleu. Don't know which one was on stage. I could tell my DD's where wanting to see the current heart throbs of Disney. I just didn't want to sit through the songs that I constantly hear on my TV! :D

Traci, So glad you are doing great, and thanks for the birthday wishes. I hope you are right, and those workouts will be in our hand soon.

Amy, Glad you where able to check in with us before you go to see Cathe. Have a great time.

Wendy, The difference I saw in R1 vs R2 of the X. I was able to improve my push-ups (because of improved shoulder strength). Increased weights used for back exercises (even though I had never done one pull-up, I used the band). I went up to 35# for lawnmowers. My core strength improved also. The only thing I didn't see a vast improvement on was my legs. I incorporated running into my rotation this round, and I noticed that my endurance was better this round (I wasn't as tired as R1). I didn't eat that well, so no improvement on the fat around my middle. But I was going for the strength. I couldn't hold a plank, and that really bugged me for some reason. Doing my Cathe workouts right now I am able to hold a plank as long as she does. I know that I will be doing another round, but probably not until the end of the year. Need a break from Tony for a while. I may try doing 3 weeks of halfsies at some point also. Hope this helped you some.

Anointed, I'm still here! :D You are just doing the upper body of P90X right?

Have to get going, everyone must want there bills paid. :D

Laurie

Good morning,
Today was Kickmax Low Impact Timesaver and stretch. Yesterday after work, I did Cardio Coach #2 (revised). Good workout. I've got to figure out my darn mp3 player. It scrambles up the different challenges within the workout.

Teddygirl, so glad the tooth (or lack of tooth) is healing. B&G Leg Blast! Way to go, you are one tough cookie, that and P90X workouts too!!! I'd like to lose 4#, but not with a bad tooth. My weight pretty much stays the same no matter what.

Swifty, Amy, Wendy, Cheryl and anyone else going to the RT, hope you all have a BLAST!!! Know you will! Take lots of pictures for us too.

Laurie, too bad about losing the volleyball game. Did you have a good time, or is the humidity so bad you just want it to be over with? How was the State Fair? Our kids were in 4-H and FFA for years so we did the animal thing at the County Fair here for years. Really don't miss it at all. Oooh, seeing now that you had a wonderful time at the Fair! The fried curds sound pretty darned good too! Pigs are such characters and incredibly smart too.

Debra, I'm really not a "rat" person either, but I did like the cartoon "The Secret of Nimh". They were very smart rats. How are the rocks doing? Did you make it to the bike shop yet?

Wendy, how totally exciting to have a new bike!!!! I absolutely know that feeling! I'll have to go to the Gary Fisher site and see what a Zebrano looks like. Debra and myself both have GF mtn. bikes (I also have a Trek road bike). They are good bikes. A bike carrier will open the world of riding up for you so you can drive past all the bad traffic and get to an area that you want to enjoy. I do that a lot. I have a carrier that goes into the receiver on the back of my Jeep, but I also carry my bike in the back of my Jeep (remove the front wheel). Of course, you will need a seat bag with a spare tube, tire irons, a pump. A cyclocomputer is a nice accessory too, to tell how fast you are going, how far, time, max speed, average mph, etc. Hopefully, the bike shop set you up correctly and put the seat height where you need it. I'm so excited for you, yes, I wish Debra and you and I could ride together. That would be awesome!!! Have you decided which DVD of Cathe's to get? I'm really excited about the new ones coming up. Short cardio is just fine for me.

Nicole, I did enjoy Bootcamp yesterday (more than Kickmax today). I'm liking this rotation too. I finally got that darned newsletter done, and yes, 3 more weeks till I need to have another one done. My enthusiasm is not too strong lately. Just noticed your signature line, LOVE IT!!!!! I've been thinking a lot lately about regrets. Must be a getting older thing for me.

Got to run, have a cycling trip meeting tonite (7 of us ladies are going to Hood River, Oregon next week for 5 days). We'll be doing short bike rides, shopping, hiking, eating, drinking, having fun. I'm really looking forward to it.

Hi there ladies! The big exodus has begun! Hope everyone is ready and pumped and has practiced their lines of glory!

I still don't know what workout I am going to do today...I will probably do yoga and then cardio tomorrow. I need a bit of centering today since things around here have been a bit crazy lately. I enjoy the yoga because I really have to concentrate on what I am doing...and I think less about the roller coaster I am on personally right now. Anyhoo...gotta run some errands this morning, so I guess I will be doing "hot yoga" this afternoon!

Onto a few personals....

Traci...My love, so glad to see your smiling face this morning. Hope you are finding the peace and serenity you are looking for.

Amy...Have a fantabulous time!!!

TeddyGirl...B&G in the morning?? How do you sit for the rest of the day? Glad you are still enjoying your X upper body.

Nicole...I thought your message to your BFF was funny...Oh, well...I guess she lost her sense of humor too! Stop sitting around and worrying!! And I know what you mean about the boards...I wonder what people are thinking sometimes.

Wendy....The yoga studio sounds like something to check out. We have a pilates studio in town that I am thinking of looking into as well. Once DD gets back to school, I will have more time to do the things I am interested in. I know that the opposite is true for you, though. Well, I did the legs raises and used the ankle weights in L&G. I have noticed lately how much more muscular my legs are...Still plenty of cellulite and lots of sagging skin, but much more muscle! I have a Samsung MP3 player...it's just a basic one, but it works just fine and I can do what I want with it. I definitely like happy babies...Just as long as I can hand them back to their owners when the start crying. I promise I will still be doing GS when you get back...I am going to alternate weeks of GS and SH for the next 4-6 weeks. My body really seems to like the heavy weight work. Which is just fine with me! I was thinking yesterday that I am thinner and in better shape than I was when I was doing cardio 5+ days a week...By dropping down the cardio, I have really improved my physique. And I don't think it was prideful to flaunt your pre cellulite body...It's just amazing how things change the older you get! Have a wonderful time on the road trip...And try not to keep you roomie up until all hours of the morning!

Okay...I'm done for now....I am sure everyone else was posting while I was...I had to stop a few times to answer the phone, get DD's breakfast, get DD in and out of the bath...etc. Back in a bit!

Qucik Drive by before heading to art lessons.

Traci!!!! It's soooo good to see you! Put a huge :D on my face!!! MISS YOU MUCH! Hope all is centered and wonderful in your life!!!

Debra-X: LOL on keeping everyone up this weekend. This yoga studio has a room for massages. Maybe, I can pretend to be you and schedule a deep pressure massage after a week of lifting heavy again.

Laurie-XX: Thank you so very much for your Round 2 report. It's encouraging! I'm looking for strength gains when I do Round 2.

Jeanette-X: I didn't get any accessories yet. They will have to wait till I can afford to spend more money on biking. I did meet a biking buddy yesterday. It was a 14 year old boy new to town (no friends to hang with). He showed me the mountain bike trails too. I asked him if his mother had taught him not to talk to strangers!:7

Oh! I see the time has gone!

BBL,
Ballistic Hugs to ALL!

Laurie...Glad you guys had a good time at the State fair...I forgot about those Wisconsin cheese curds! Our state fair here isn't until fall...when it's a bit cooler and I can't wait to take DD since she has never been before. My DD would have gone crazy to see either of those Disney boys! I am currently listening to "The Suite Life" in the other room...UUUGGH! Have fun with Imax2 today..I really enjoy that one.

Jeanette...No...haven't haven't made it to the bike shop yet...It's too darn hot here to ride anyway...It is already in the mid 80's by 9am! I knew if I went bike accessory shopping I would want to go riding..and then I would probably pass out from a heat stroke. You cycling trip sounds like a lot of fun next week! Shopping, biking, drinking, and eating...what's not to like?!? Those rocks are still tumbling along...Haven't checked them in a few days...And now I don't even remember when they are done with this stage...At least there is a timer on them!

Okay...I am really going now...

kisses to all!

Good morning,

GS Shoulders, and all of GS Legs is complete. Only GS Biceps are left to do this week (tomorrow), and I will officially be sore in every muscle. Later today I will do Finn's Magically Hips session.

Roadtrippers: Have an awesome trip!! Make sure you get front and centre in the photo shoots so I can see your beaming smiles. And yes, stand in front of Cathe if you have to ;)

If SNM did as TraciX suggests, there would be a massive revolt on the forums. People would freak that the roadtrippers get preferential treatment. I'm guessing the blog is quiet because they're busy preparing for the road trip. I imagine we'll see an update on Monday, with road trip pictures. I hope so, anyway.

My report is due tomorrow, so I'm going to save my typing finger for all the work I have to do. Have a great day and a wonderful workout!

Traci-X, So good to see your post!!

WO - Imax 3 blasts only & GS Bis, Back and shoulders.

Note: I picked Imax 3 as my favorite w/o when asked our favorite for the RT booklet. I love the music (memories) and I love the way it just pushes me way over the top to achieve that high you get when it's so hard you just can't stand it any longer. Reminds me of when I was a young girl.;-)

Hello - popping in to say hi to all xer's and so long for a few days. I'm getting up early (4 A) and driving to the gym all alone;( . Nevertheless, a nice drive listening to the music I want and reflecting on all the ideas and experience I am about to receive.

My mind is spinning with stuff to do and it's impossible for me to chat. ((((((( ))))))) to all of you. Keep on working out you bad babes of X!

Till I return :7
