Morning Ladies,
Rotation: Cathe's July '07
Workout: Week 3/Day 4/Imax 2 Premix 2 plus BC Abs
We had a great time at the State Fair. The weather was wonderful. There wasn't a huge pig this year as in years past.
But there sure where some noisy ones. We enjoyed seeing the grand champion steer. I had a chance to eat a bison burrito, which was very good. The whole family had something from the Wisconsin Pavillion. This area features all items that have been produced in the state. The girls enjoyed looking at the display of the cranberry bogs. I resisted the temptation to have a cranberry muffin. Oh so love cranberries.
Of course we had ice cream, and couldn't leave without having some fried cheese curds (everyone enjoyed in consuming these). As we where leaving the fair we could hear all the teenage girls screaming for either Jake Bell or Corbin Bleu. Don't know which one was on stage. I could tell my DD's where wanting to see the current heart throbs of Disney. I just didn't want to sit through the songs that I constantly hear on my TV!
Traci, So glad you are doing great, and thanks for the birthday wishes. I hope you are right, and those workouts will be in our hand soon.
Amy, Glad you where able to check in with us before you go to see Cathe. Have a great time.
Wendy, The difference I saw in R1 vs R2 of the X. I was able to improve my push-ups (because of improved shoulder strength). Increased weights used for back exercises (even though I had never done one pull-up, I used the band). I went up to 35# for lawnmowers. My core strength improved also. The only thing I didn't see a vast improvement on was my legs. I incorporated running into my rotation this round, and I noticed that my endurance was better this round (I wasn't as tired as R1). I didn't eat that well, so no improvement on the fat around my middle. But I was going for the strength. I couldn't hold a plank, and that really bugged me for some reason. Doing my Cathe workouts right now I am able to hold a plank as long as she does. I know that I will be doing another round, but probably not until the end of the year. Need a break from Tony for a while. I may try doing 3 weeks of halfsies at some point also. Hope this helped you some.
Anointed, I'm still here!
You are just doing the upper body of P90X right?
Have to get going, everyone must want there bills paid.
Laurie
