~~~~~~~Personals Part 1 ~~~~~~~~~
Congrats to Sandra, Jeanette, & Debra (hope thats everyone!) for entering the final recovery zone of P90X! As far as I'm concerned you HAVE graduated and just awaiting receipt of the diploma. I am in total & utter awe of the dedication to overcoming mental & physical obstacles each of you have endured! I salute you fine women of the X'ers!!!!!!! Laurie- Monica- Steph.... soon soon soon! Hang in there and know it can be done!
TRACY X:
Starting with you since you talked about the exercise funk a bit on Friday. I am right there with you after this weekend. I actually did not workout at all- for a variety of lame reasons that I wont bore you with. I am seriously considering doing 2-3 weeks of NYBD/ Tae Bo and then starting another P90X rotation. I just dont see why I wouldnt at this point since I miss it, I love it, it works for me ... I keep reminding myself that I can still use my other workouts as "subs" for subs and/or add-ons. I just like the rotation itself so much and of course Tony. I fear that I will be walking around in my cool new tank but all flabby! I just wont wear the X'er Tank and be a disappointment to all my fellow X'ers!x( Tell Ds that I too am going for Man Arms! lololol. There are few ways I desire to be a man but the muscles? Yea Baby!:+ WooHoo on the 50.00 NB GC! Thats like winning the lotto! Have a great time spending away!!!!
Cant wait to hear about your plan for recovery week... I feel like I've had 3 already so I'm plowing forward.
Jeanette:
Thanks so much for response on the glasses! I swear I thought I was crazy because I couldnt see how they would actually work! LOL
4 pairs of shoes in 1 day????? You are my kind of shopper! Whats this about feeling abs burn???? Do I now need Gilad abs as well??? Oh my goodness! LOL: re:"Lea, how about shorts instead that say "I've got a crack, crack" across the back of them?" :+
Sorry about all the snot ... I mean SNOW! Glad you took a rest day tho... I still think you're funny about a 300 mile ride being part of rest day! You silly girl!!!! LOL on the "thin" remarks... Why is it so dang difficult for women to just admit another woman looks AWESOME! I saw a friend for first time in 6 months too and when she hugged me she said... " OMG you are skin & bones. I had to lol because at 127 and 19% BF I am no where near skin & bones! Isnt that the truth about our faces looking "older" when we thin out at this age? I keep telling myself that my face just hasnt caught up with my body yet! LOLOLOL... I guess extra BF is a natural botox?
OK - Need to end part 1..... Will be back VERY SOON with part 2 & 3!
Sandra, Lea, Debra, Laurie, Monica, Steph...... I shall return!
~~~~~~~Personals Part 2 ~~~~~~~~~

Sandra,
Now based on Fridays posts you have decided on As Written recovery? LOLOLOL. We are all so funny about these dang rotations ! WHATEVER you decide to do for recovery I have no doubt that you will have incredible measurements to report! You DID take beginning ones didnt you????? Great effort BTW on Saturday to be first poster! Gotta get up pretty early to beat miss lea X ...Before 5am I think??? Have to laugh about your basement... Sounds like my Door Gym arriving just in time for my final recovery week! LOL .... Best laid plans. I am really happy that you are back in business tho! What a trooper (& non-complainer) you are! I would have been whining about it the entire time! FUNNY about the crane being pushed over! LOLOLOL... Thank goodness it didnt happen to poor Debra or she'd have a concusion! Oscars: Well I made it the first hour! I am so used to having TIVO to FF thru the rif raff that I just cannot stand to watch entire shows anymore. Its 6:15 am & I still have yet to look to see who won the big stuff! I was VERY excited tho each time I saw Little Miss Sunshine nominated... I kept telling DH how you all always talk about it and how if it were not for my X'ers I would not be in the "know" on any of the important things in the world! He thinks I have a very starange relationship with all of you! lololol Glad to hear you enjoyed The Producers! What a wonderful story line that is! Have to LOl at your Like the bigger X'ers comment..... Now I know what the world will think... Look at that woman walking around with the Big X'ers!!!!!!

Lea,
My dear dear Lea.... How do I thank you enough for all the work on the Tanks???? I know that I should proably be doing all this work as I have no kids but I tell ya I also have ZERO creativity so it would have been a diaster! This is so appreciated! ANYTHING you guys want I will be thrilled with! THANK YOU so much for doing al this work.
Funny about the X dude wearing a pink bandana! Now thats a man whos very secure!!!!! LOLOLOLOL I do want to say tho I am VERY disappointed that you gave Debras quote (Flying thru the air) little more than lip service! Some of us admire respect and have great aspirations to be a Dreya clone... I think you have made all of us wanna-bee's feel very self conscious! I take back all the nice things I said about you! I think Dreya deserves to be informed of al this!:eek: ......................................... Now that I've sent Dreya an email I can get back to your posts...:+
On the budding artists in your family... I think all that stuff is so cute! REALLY I do but I guess thats because I have no children? Personally I'd make an entire wall that is just for them to create on these young years...then when they start dating and you get to meet the dates you take them to the Picasso Wall of Honor! I have chills just reading about your dental experience... DH & I are absolute babies about the dentist thus long over due for visits...Hope there is no soreness today! Was the pizza & vino wondeful????? What a perfect idea! little Miss Creative!

Debra, Laurie, Monica, Steph.... I'm coming back I swear!!!!!

Great day to all
BBL

Happy Monday,

We had a two hour delay which is great for sleep, but traffic will be terrible! I did Powerstrike 3 yesterday and broke a good sweat. Then I did both abs from b&g, and some yoga. At 6 I started feeling like I was getting a sore throat.....I feel better this morning, but I may take a rest day today. It will depend on how I feel when I get home. I had the Gauntlet planned.

BBL with personals, I hope all is well.

Tracy

Hi all. Good morning. Traci, nice to see you back. Did ARX this am and some of Chest, shoulders and tri's but had to stop because something is wrong with my left elbow. I started to do pushups and this sharp shooting pain went up my arm. Not good. Now it hurts to move it. So I think I will rest today. Might even get a cardio coach and do that today. We will see. I plan on taking the kids to the park later on today since it is suppose to rain the next couple of days. But tonight, I get to go to a meditation class, which I am really excited about. I have always wanted to do that.

Anyone watch the Oscars last night? It was very good I thought. I was so rooting for Jennifer Hudson to win and she did. Yay. But I ate too much pizza and drank too much wine. So it's back to healthy eating and water for me. Got to get in tip top shape for falling on my arss on Saturday ;-)

Ok, bbl with personals.

Lea

CL/PH3/Week5/Day1: YogaX

Good morning good morning good morning!

I hope you are all doing well! After last night, it's apparent that I must rent The Departed...and stay awake for it! All that man-candy in one movie, it's almost like Ocean's 11 all over again! Mmmmmmmm, caaaannndy.

I'm not feeling very happy with myself today. I ate terrible, terrible yesterday, did not do XStretch, did not complete all the household chores that were planned, did not even have a shower (feel really ucky this morning), and stayed up very late. I also do not want to do YogaX today. I do not want to do this recovery week. I feel very good, physically. No aching joints and all that. I have decided that today I'm going to do LowMax. I'm going to take this week at my own pace. Do LM today, maybe YogaX tomorrow, CoreSyn on Weds, XStretch on Thurs, another cardio on Fri, and who-knows-what on Saturday. I'll keep away from the heavy lifting for a week, but I have to keep the blood moving.

I know my eating went off track yesterday because I had very little protein early in the day. As a result, I ended up eating a good-sized piece of chocolate cake and a cup of milk in the late afternoon, and "helped" DH eat a bowl of buttered popcorn while we watched the Oscars. I know I need morning protein, but I really don't have much of a stomach for it this early. I'd rather eat a nice big bowl of cold cereal, or a pb&j sandwich. Urgh. I hate eating. But I love it :-(

I'd better go make a protein smoothie right now, while I have the motivation. I'll be back in a bit with personals.

Sandra
- pressing pause

Okay it's a bit later and I have a lovely protein smoothie to sip while I type.

TraciX - so nice to have you back!! Your weekend sounds fantastic! Did you catch anything? If you catch something, do you eat it? Thank you for the congrats! I think of myself as "done", too. I'm not convinced of the necessity of doing this recovery week as written. I understand that the body needs a break after the last 4 weeks, but am not convinced that it absolutely needs to do the P90X workouts. If I haven't already seen the "magic", it's not going to happen this week! I see no reason for you to not do another P90X rotation. In the manual they do suggest that if you're happy with your results and want to keep going, then by all means do so. I'll do it again at some point, but my focus will be on the weight work, and I'll probably sub a lot of the cardio. I might just only do Phase 3 again. 19% body fat is pretty low! Don't sell yourself short. I'm pretty sure my bf is still in the mid-20s, and my face looks thin. LMAO about the Big Xers! Nope, that AIN'T me! So, will you be renting Little Miss Sunshine any time soon?

TracyX - what do you mean, a 2 hour delay? Did your alarm not go off? I hope those germs leave you alone. The Gauntlet is intense. If you decide to go for it, have a good workout. If not, then have a nice rest :)

LeaX - <ears perking up, and eyebrows raising> a meditation class?? OOOOOhhhh, I want to learn how to do that! Make sure you tell me how you like it! What's with the shooting pain? I hope it's nothing that a rest won't fix. You're doing a lot of P90X workouts these days. Are you just trying to maintain, or have you begun your own second rotation? I watched the Oscars and enjoyed it. I never understand all the hubbub about the host. They seem, IMO, to make very little difference to the show, and you barely see them throughout. It's always the honorary awards with the big long attributes that send me to sleep. Do those at the dinner; save the fun stuff for the tv. Are you going to learn a meditation for snowboarding? ("I am upright. I am strong. I am upright. I am strong") :)

Steph - it was great to see you pop in yesterday. Excellent work on ARX!! We'll be here to pull you across the finish line :)

Jeanette - no bike ride yesterday? That's too bad. Your breakfast bring-alongs sound great! It's so unfortunate, though, that we live in a society in which it's necessary to bring stuff along to make a restaurant meal healthy.

Oh dear, we're going to be late. Gotta go!
Sandra

Good morning,

Classic/Phase 3/Week 5/Day 1 (Recovery Week)

It was YogaX for me today, not all of it, 60 minutes or so, but I did most of the vinyasas, switched to Yoga Belly and some hamstring stretches and twists at the end, and the corpse stuff. I wanted to hear the Ohms part as I'd never gotten that far before. Actually, I enjoyed this workout today, maybe because I controlled the length of it and what I did. Will help DH with his workout tonite and finish a little touch up painting in the kitchen. Also need to get stuff moved back in. I swear I'm going to get rid of the clutter in there now that it's all clean and spartan looking.

Traci, glad you had a fabulous time at the bay. I would have loved a long nap this weekend, never got a chance at all. No, I wouldn't buy the Gilad workouts for the burn. It's just that I haven't worked my muscles in that way for a while and I really concentrated on the contraction more. AbX does work the hip flexors a lot. I should be getting my Tracey Staehle Core workout soon and will definitely be letting you know about it. Buying 4 pairs of shoes at a time was totally out of character for me. I am no Amalda Marcos.

Tracy, oooh the Gauntlet! I like that one a lot. Will be looking forward to mixing it up soon. Dang, I hope you don't get a cold. I keep telling myself when I have a slight sore throat that it's allergy or something. You know, the mind over matter thing. Sometimes works. At least it keeps me from being bummed that I'm getting a cold.

Lea, what the heck did you do to your elbow? A meditation class? That should be interesting. I love shivasana in yoga. My favorite part. DH went and brought home a pizza for me to bake last night. Thank goodness I'd already eaten my dinner, but I did pick at a couple of sausage bits (or whatever they are) from the top. Not bad really, and no crust eaten at all. Drink lots of water today. The snowboarding lesson is going to be sooooo much fun!!!

Sandra, don't worry about yesterday's eating. It's behind you and bet you're back on the clean eating train already. I didn't get a shower either as I knew I'd be painting all day. Didn't do StretchX either.
I have felt fantastic while on this rotation, lots of energy, which I'm surprised about. The important thing is that you feel good and are not injured. Enjoy that protein smoothie this morning. Sounds like you've got a handle on it already.

BBL,

Jeanette

Monring X'ers,

This week starts my last week of P90X. :D YogaX is on tap for me today.

We are digging out of about 16" of snow from this weekend. Woke up every morning with snow needing to be dug out. And this stuff was heavy and wet. Not fun. Glad our snow blower could handle it. Even the 3' pile at the end of the driveway.

Hopefully can get back later, trying to catch up from my day off!

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hi all,

I have some nice fatigue in my arms from the Powerstrike yesterday. I have to admit, I could not do all of the snaps that they did and had to modify. I guess I’ll have to work up to that. That particular routine has a nice balance of leg and arm drills. I do have a slight bit of tightness in my core; that’s good.

Jeanette & Sandra & Laurie & Debra (almost) congratulations on getting to the recovery week. You are almost graduates of the X. Way to go on sticking with it. Seems like you all enjoyed it so that helps. Believe me, once you are off of the rotation it is hard to find your way…

Jeanette – I bet it feels good to have someone comment on the new you! I think that most women our age get so comfortable with being overweight that they don’t realize that isn’t the way it is supposed to be. Yoga X today?? I don’t miss that one. Weren’t you tempted to do someone else? I keep wanting to get that B.Kest one that is old, but they want like 20 some dollars for it. Is it worth it? I just love him though. I can’t wait to here what you think about Tracy S. I saw one on DDDVD by Michael Olijade. He is a boxer and it got some good reviews from people on video fitness. I might order it. It is only about 10 and no freight.

Debra – You were on a ladder with a bum wrist, snow and a broom? I’m so glad you pulled that off without incident. Try DDDVD or amazon for cheap yoga tapes. They have some good stuff for around 10.

Lea – Warm and sunny weather. It stinks here; the remains of dirty snow and gloomy. I think that I would enjoy a meditation class. The one benefit to yoga is that it really settles me down. I’ve been trying to get in 2 short and 2 long sessions a week and I really see a big difference in my mental state. I’m just so calm. I love it. Take care of that elbow. You were smart to stop. A couple days of rest are much better than pushing it and having to take off a couple of weeks. I know all too well about those stupid kinds of things.

Sandra – I cooked baby back ribs last night and although they tasted great going down, within minutes I felt rather yucky. I’m sure it was all of that fat that I’m just not used to eating. I’ve been struggling with the food lately and probably not eating enough which as a result I had the sore throat last night. I have a bad habit of minimalist type eating and really have to fight it. I’m just so darn tired of cooking to eat right! I try really hard to at least drink 2 cups of milk in the morning on the way to work. That is 18 grams of protein. I added the whey this am because I was actually feeling hungry, and usually I am not hungry at 6:30am. The cake thing; do you remember I posted before that when I don’t eat well I crave cake or other crappy carbs. A two hour delay means school starts two hours later than usual. It counts as a regular day, so we don’t have to make up any more school.

Traci – I think that I’m still happy with my rotation because I patterned it very similarly to the X. A two day split, plyo, cardio, kickbox and yoga, with just a few modifications. I like that structure and it seems to be working for me. I’m in phase 2 of my own rotation now. I actually like the rotation concept. It keeps my honest. My next rotation will probably look something like this (I came up with my own exercises, which is difficult for motivation, but may use MM & PUB, I’m still on the fence). Monday – ch/sh/tri, yoga, Tuesday leg/plyo circuits, Wednesday back & biceps, yoga Thursday legs then HITT, Friday yoga, Saturday kickbox/ abs, Sunday cardio & legs. Although I did contemplate doing a total upper body workout on Monday & Thursday, instead of the split and using MM + pushups + pull-ups on Monday, and then PUB + push ups + pull-ups on Thursday then plug in the other stuff. I haven’t decided. Any thoughts?

Laurie - Sorry about the snow. It's no longer fun or pretty for me, but a pain. Enjoy yoga x.

Tracy

Ok, jeeze, I had everything written out and it disappeared. Guess I wasn't meant to send it. Here is a link of the shirt that I think I am finally going to order. Let me know if it is all right and also what size you would like.

http://www.customink.com/cink/r.jsp?E=ldandrea430%40yahoo.com&F=xers4

I will try to do personals later, but right now I have to take my SIL's advice and put ice on my elbow. Thankfully, she is the one who is a personal trainer, she knows about this stuff, so she is going to show me some different ways I can do pushups without putting strain on my arm. She says that they are really rough on you.

It looks like everyone is doing well, except for that darn snow. Hang in there.

Lea

Ok, I have a little time for personals now.

Miss Traci X - Welcome back. We missed you around here. But glad that you had a great time this weekend. I am with you on doing another P90X rotation and soon. I definately see a lot of definition after doing the X and don't want to lose that, which I am starting too now. BTW, I don't think that you will be walking around all flabby in your new X'ers shirt. You have Tosca. I am going for the man arms too. I have a picture cut out and posted on my mirror in my closet so I can see the bod that I actually want. Last night didn't help any though. So thank you for the GUILT with Debra. Lip service. Ha!!! As if!!!! I don't think that we are going to have a wall of honor any time soon around here. There are lots of walls of honor outside in our neighborhood that people think that they can tag. I don't want to get my kids in that habit. Paper will do just fine. LOL.

Miss Tracy X - Sorry about your cold. Ouch. I hope that you can fight it. And sorry to hear about the snow. I know that it must get tiring after a while. Yoga settles me down too, but I also need something else to calm me down. As I am sure that you know, it is hard sometimes having the patience and understanding with the young ones all of the time. I think that meditation will help me channel out some of these feelings so that I can be a calmer person.

Miss Sandra - Oh yeah, the Departed. Did you see Jack last night with all of his baldness? I haven't seen Departed yet, but I love to watch anything with Mr.Wahlberg in it. He has the most outrageous body. YUMMY!!! Sorry that you ate so poorly yesterday. I guess that was the thing to do. But today is a new day to get on track. LOL on the meditation for snowboarding. I am trying to use a different technique for snowboarding. I just watched "The Secret" and am so on board with that right now that I am all ready a snowboarder in my mind. (Until I fall on my ass for the millionth time ;) ). Keep up the good eating today.

Miss Jeanette - I just ordered Cardio Coach 4 and I don't have a link to click on to download. So I contactd support and hopefully they can help me, or I will be sad;( . Looking forward to doing it tomorrow. I am glad that you had a good yoga workout. And good job on not digging into the pizza, because I ate enough for the whole group today and it shows on my stomach for sure!!! I bet you look awesome and I agree that some people don't know what fit is. So they just say you are too skinny. Hmph:* ! I have to look up the Gauntlet now. My DH is probably going to cut me off of the forums because I keep purchasing what you guys are suggesting and loving them, so I keep going back for more. And yes, water is my best friend today. Thank you!!

Miss Laurie - Sorry to hear about the snow. I am gglad that your blower can handle it. Good luck with yoga!!

Miss Debra - Well hello there. Did you just wake up? LOL. You are all ready getting your workout in today. Funny on the ladder description, I thought you were going to say that you took a tumble, but luckily that was not the case. Whew!! Thank goodness. You have enough owies.

Miss Steph - Thanks for checking in. I was getting worried about you. I am glad that you are doing well and keeping busy. You are almost done too. YAY!!! Good job on ARX. It is still a tough one for me, but the one I do the most because of the results.

Great job on hanging in there and almost being done Sandra, Jeanette, Debra and Laurie. Hang in there Monica and Steph. You are so close we can almost taste it.

Oooo, Cardio Coach just sent me an email. Gotta go and check it out. Then I have to pick up DS#1, eat lunch and I am going to take them to this park that has all sorts of rocks to climb on for the kids. Just what boys love. Talk to y'all later. Take care of yourselves!!!

Lea

Hi again,

LowMax was just what I needed this morning. Yum. I feel really nice now, especially since I had a hot shower. I was going to use my medicine ball as per A-Jock's suggestion, but I can't find it! I know it's somewhere in the basement, but it's been so long since I've used it that DH probably stuck it away somewhere. So, next time, I guess. I'm going to do either DrillMax or BootCamp tomorrow, in place of CoreSyn. That workout has never really clicked with me. I enjoyed Cathe so much today (and the music!), and have only done DrillMax once as produced. I remember I enjoyed the music a lot, and the great variety.

Jeanette - so what did you leave OUT of YogaX?! It sounds like you got most of it! It feels terrific, doesn't it? Good work! It's amazing how much clutter gradually overtakes our rooms, isn't it? I love my surfaces, dahling, and it irks me when I look around and see piles upon piles of stuff covering them up. It's also the reason I don't dust as much as I should - I don't have the time or the patience to clear all the stuff! Thank you for your encouraging words. I'm certainly bloated today (from the popcorn, no doubt!), but I'm trying to be patient. A couple of days of water-guzzling and good eating will make it all go away.

Laurie - Your last week!! Woohoo! Enjoy your YogaX today and "be good to your spiiiiine" :)

TracyX - What's this?? YOU had to modify something? I'm surprised. I'd written you off as Too Advanced For Videos :) So, is this a workout worth buying? Oh, I hear you exactly on the baby back ribs! We have some prepared ribs in the freezer that DH hinted he wanted to eat yesterday, but I ignored him. I knew I would feel like a train wreck today if I did that! I haven't had KFC in years, and it used to be my all-time favourite fast-food (still is, I suppose). That's food that tastes dynamite going down, for me, but makes my whole body feel toxic within minutes. But man, is it tasty! I could go for some right now. But I won't :)

Debra - I'm so wishing you could get that house sold and move out of the snow belt! Week 13 starts tomorrow for you? WOOHOO!!

LeaX - Oh dear, it's bad enough to need ice? Please take care. What does the SIL say you need to do differently with the push ups? I agree they can be tough on the elbows. I get twinges sometimes, and don't like the way it feels. Can I just assert that I'm not keen on "X'ers" with the apostrophe (please don't cry)? The ' is to indicate either a truncation of two words, or a possessive noun, and in our situation it's neither of those things. So, the Grammar-Nanny in me struggles when I see that. Can we maybe put a dash? X-ers? Or I'd even prefer nothing: Xers. Or you can all vote me down and I'll be happy with X'ers. I won't complain and start a flame war, I promise. Just don't hate me.

Have a great day,
Sandra

Sandra - I am soooo angry that you don't like the '. HMPH!!! AS IF!!! LOL just kidding. I will do a vote again for the last time and see what people think. Howz that? I definately could not hate you for that!!! Thanks for the suggestion. Glad that you had a good workout. YAY. And yes, elbow hurts bad. SOB

OK, So let's vote now for the final shirts:

I swear that is it!!! Your final vote counts!!! Good luck.

Hi there ladies!!!

WooHoo!!! I am done!!!!!!!!!!!! I did a big happy dance today after I finished Legs and Back and was running around the family room with my arms in the air....My dog was the only one here to celebrate my victory run...but she got very excited and gave me lots of doggie kisses while I was stretching. No more Dreya moaning! I know I still have recovery week...but since I'm going to have to modify a lot I feel like I'm done! I did not do measurements when I started..just tracked my weight and BF%.

Okay...On to a few personals until I run out of time and have to take DD to dance....

Lea...Sorry to hear about your elbow...Those injuries are not any fun! I think I am going to vote with Sandra on the shirt with no '. But I will be happy either way. Take it easy on that elbow this week...You will probably need to have it in good working order for that snowboarding lesson!

Tracy...Glad you enjoyed your workout yesterday and still feel like you have room to grow with it. I have some nice DOMS in my obliques today from Kenpo yesterday. Hope you guys safely dug out of your snow this morning. I understand about not wanting to cook to eat right! I'm right there with you! Hope your sore throat is feeling better.

Laurie...16 inches...That's a lot!!!! Have fun with yoga today.

Jeanette...So glad you enjoyed yoga this morning. I have a difficult time keeping clutter out of my kitchen too...I think everything just ends up there. Congrats on your newly painted home! My best friend has a couple of her rooms done in a sage greeen and I think it looks so pretty! I am continually impressed with your husband's road to fitness...There aren't a ton of men out there who would do yoga!!

Sandra...Sorry about your eating yesterday...I had the same problem..I was SOOOO hungry all day and it led to me making some not so great choices and eating way more that I should have...I can definitely feel it this morning too....But...C'est la vie...today's a new day and we'll both do better! It sounds like we should get together and watch some movies! I can watch Ocean's 11 over and over and over...The Departed is next on my Netflix queue..Should be here by the end of the week!!! Glad you enjoyed LoMax today...I will probably stick that in this week too.

Traci..Glad you had such a good time at the Bay this weekend...It's good to take a break from everything and it sounds like you were able to do that this weekend. You should have seen the bunnies running last night as I was dragging the ladder around the house to fix the satellite...All kinds of bunnies!!! And the poop to go with them...My dog will be looking for M&Ms later! I think it's great that you are ready (almost) to start another X rotation...Now that you know how your body reacts and what to expect you can easily sub workouts where and when you want.

Okay..I think I caught everyone...Hi to Steph and Monica...Hope you guys are doing well!

Hi all,

I finished the Gauntlet and I really think that I am in better shape than I was 4 months ago. Even for my recovery week, I was able to go heavier than Cathe. I have decided that I don't like endurance based workouts. They seem to boil down to how much lactic acid buildup can one tolerate. Needless to say they do have their place for increasing definition. Thanks for the concern about my cold. I think that the endorfins are raging right now, so I feel pretty good.

Debra - Congratulations on finishing L&B. It's nice to have someone to celebrate with, even if it is the dog. I talk to mine all of the time.

The t-shirt without the ' is fine. Let me know what I need to do.

Wishing good evenings to all.

Tracy
