Xers............Lovely Sunday.................

Hi all,

I almost wrote Lonely Sunday, because so few of us are around, but decided on something a little more upbeat!

I am definitetly feeling the effects from GS yesterday. I guess that's good. Today is legs and either a bike ride or some step, I'm not sure yet.

Hi to anyone who is around.

Tracy

A few personals,

Debra - Glad you found the Fluid Yoga. I always use the matrix and if you are looking for some suggestions let me know. I did that last night. Yes, the issues with GF and the weight are a problem. She said at one point that she is happy with her weight, but I can't believe that is true when we gave her a bracelet for her birthday and she said, "Oh great, it fits around my fat wrist." Believe it or not FIL is now back at his house and GS (28 & no job) is staying with him. All of the health issues are cleared up and he is doing quite well. It just goes to show you how many old people must die without the right medical care. I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Sandra - I did a psuedo recovery week last week. Yes, I think bursitis would be right at the elbow joint. I hope you find a good dr. Even with all of the doctors in this area, it is hard to find a good one. The trees are turning here, but we have had such a drought, that I don't think it will be very pretty this year.

Jeanette and Nicole - I hope the parties/celebrations were fun!

Wendy - I maybe you have a sinus infection or bronchitis. You have been sick for so long. When are you leaving?

Annointed - What legs did you do yesterday? I finally realized that egg whites bloat me up almost as bad as oatmeal. I would have looked 4 months pregnant if I'd eaten your breakfast yesterday.

Hi to anyone else.

Tracy

Hi all! Glad to see Tracy was first up and at 'em this morning. No big news here except that I slept really good...between the cool night air and the new bed all is well! Our temps go up again later this week, so I am taking advantage while I can.

Tracy...Legs and a bike ride sound like something I would never do in the same day...LOL! I would love any suggestions you have about Shiva...You know how much I love Eion...so something the has a lot of hip opening moves is usually what I am looking for. If you get the post early enough, let me know what you think. I am soooo glad to hear how well FIL is doing! I think that is great...and I guess it's good that GS doesn't have a job so that he can be around. Just like Eion says "When things don't go right, they go wrong for all the right reasons." Hopefully things will only improve for FIL. Sorry, though, to hear about GF's problems....I wonder what she thinks about you and your healthy lifestyle.

Okay...I am headed to take the dog out and let's see...what else do I have to do today? Nothing really...that is a good thing! I will definitely be doing Shiva today...and finishing up putting out stuff for Halloween. I caught up with everyone on last night's post...Hope everyone is good this morning.

Debra

Hi Lovely & Lonely Xers!
First chance I've had to sit and read or write- have yet to read tho! I did get an email that we ship MONDAY!!!!!!! Doggity I'm excited!

I miss you guys- I have taken for granted how much all the friendships, advice & support mean to me on a daily basis. Just reaching out a little each day and connecting with like minded women has truly enhanced my life in many ways. Thanks to each of you....

Dads surprise 70th was last night and it went so well! Very much worth the 6 month long distance planning... I'll have pics up late next week.... I am SO ready to board the plane at 6am tomorrow!!!!!!! Gosh I am a homebody!

I have gotten 2 new clients (to be confirmed Tuesday ) who called me on cell while I've been here.... I am eager to get back to work... I guess thats the real test of loving your work... I have thought about it since we left!

I am off to read some of the Xer Club happenings since Wednesday... I do hope everyone is happy & well!

Miss you guys- I'll be back in full swing Tuesday by 3am!:7

Hi all,

Traci - SOOO glad you are back! I missed you and I'm sure everyone else did too. Glad you had a nice time, and congrats on the new clients.

Debra - I love the following sequence:

Foundation Vinyasa
Mandala Namaskar 1
Mandala Namaskar II
Backbending Vinyasa or Basic Fluid Backbend
Forward Bends and Hip Openers

You really only need to do the forward bends and hip openers if you have the time, the other sequences are great hip openers all by themselves.

Good morning,
No workout this morning, but planning on doing the group bike ride as it looks like no one is cutting wood in this house this morning. They are all sawing wood....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. My DB and his son are still at the house (spent the night) after the party. I think they were all going to go out and cut wood today (along with DS), but no movement yet.

Anyway, a wonderful BBQ yesterday. Think both DS's were really pleased.

Off to get ready for the bike ride.

Tracy, thanks for starting this morning, and Traci, so good to see you on here. Of course you know how much we've all missed you! Can't wait until you are back on Tuesday!!!!

Jeanette

Hi,
Had a good ride today. Only 3 of us and we did 42 miles. The leaves are turning colors and the weather was perfect, with no wind at all. When I got back, went out to the golf course and hit some balls and practiced a bit for a little over an hour. Also cleaned out the camp trailer and will winterize it tomorrow, along with stacking some wood that DH and DS split today.

Debra, hope you had a nice, relaxing time with yoga. Did you finish the Halloween decorating? DH and I went to the store today and he wanted to buy some Halloween candy. I said no, too early. I know he won't be tempted to get into it, but I will. Fly Lady is a program (website) that helps you to organize and clean. I don't think I'm overwhelmed about cleaning, just lazy and a procrastinator. Some stuff I'm just rebellious with, like when I write a check, I never write it in the order of blanks on the check (date, payee, $ amount, etc.) I'm all over the place. What's that say about me?

Tracy, did you get a bike ride in today? I was so glad I got one in as I hadn't ridden all week. Did the recovery week do you some good? Hoping for a stress-free week for you.

Sandra, I'm looking forward to the short cardio segments on the new series. I can't hardly stand to do a whole 60 minute cardio workout anymore without changing DVD's a few times. Maybe I have ADD. I had a cake made at Safeway yesterday for the party. The blue in the icing made all of us have blue mouths. Didn't stop me from partaking. It actually was a pretty tasty cake.

Anointed, oooooh oats and egg whites! I like those! Hope you don't have too much more dentist time. Did you say kettle corn? I love that stuff. I like to get the stuff in the long tube of a plastic bag.

Wendy, did you get the house warmed up yet? Our woodstove was going last night and we definitely did not need it. It was soooo hot that I had to head to bed to escape the heat. Are you going to the dr. soon to check out the sinus thing? I've never had a sinus infection but hear they are miserable. You need to be all healed up by the time you leave. When is that, by the way? I had a glass of merlot last night for the BBQ. Yummy. Wow, a 5-7 year apprenticeship! DS should be counting his blessings that his was just 3 years. He's so happy not to have to spend so much time studying.

Nicole, how was the wedding? Glad you decided to rest your back. Hopefully, next week will be a better one for you. I'm looking forward to getting the new workouts, but I waited a few days to preorder so won't be one of the first, plus I didn't pay for express shipping. I figure I'll be getting them in the next couple of weeks sometime. Hope Cathe puts out a November rotation to use them.

Got to go do some more reading,

Jeanette

Good Evening Ladies!!!!

What a lovely rest day especially since the toxins have begun to flow! :7 Phil has been waiting ever so patiently for my hormones to level out to normal. However, he did slip up last week. The conversation went like this:

Me moodily whining: I'm hungry, but I don't know what I'm hungry for.

Phil rubbing my back, pauses. He then makes a suggestion while jumping away: Advil... Extra Strength!:p }( :7

He was smart to jump away when he did!}( But, I had to laugh. It's funny cause it's TRUE!

Tracy-X: What did you end up doing today? A bike ride and step sounds lovely! That's great news about your FIL!!!! What was wrong with him in the first place? I never got the gist of his condition. Unlike your FIL, I'm not feeling any better or worse. I'm making an appointment to see the doctor tomorrow. My chest feels fine. But, the coughing up nasty crap with pounding headaches and ear aches have gone on for far too long. We're leaving on the 21st of November. All of my spare time is reading about the darn country! My head feels like it's gonna explode! Then Crazy Asian informs me that she wants to go to Cambodia for a day. That way she can renew her visa without having to get a tourist visa. At first, I told her she's on her own! I don't need to go since I already paid $$ to get our tourist visas. And, I can only deal with one 3rd world country at a time!!! Then I realized how close we are going to be to Angkor Wat. So, I might change my mind and just drag her to visit those ancient Khmer ruins too. LOL

Debra-X: Don't you have a fun filled life! It's been years since I went to a comedy club. I'm content with watching Mind of Mencia. Yes! I admit it!:p Your farmer's market sounds so nice. Shots? Let's see... I had to get Hep.A and a TB booster. I went with the live typhoid oral vaccine for a 5 year coverage over the dead typhoid shot with a 3 year coverage. I declined the Hep B shot since I don't plan on mixing my blood and bodily fluids with anyone there!:p And, I decided on forgoing the rabies shot. However, I should have gotten it since every city and town are overflowing with feral dogs. I'm so excited for your new career! When do classes start?

Tracy!!!! Howdy GF! So nice to see you! Wow! Your life must be on cloud 9! I was wondering if you would need to be bailed out of any family gatherings. Glad to hear it went well!!! Now, what's your workload limit before it starts to interfere with me, Um, I mean our lovely, encouraging check-in?:+ Are your new clients from the ad you placed or online? Wait! Tuesday by 3? Don't tell me it takes 21 hours to fly home and unpack!!!:p Fine, take your time unpacking, playing with the babies, sleeping, and all that stuff before you check in. I see where your priorities are.:7;-)

Howdy Jeanette! My oh My! 42 miles! No wonder only three showed up!:p ;-) You had a mighty productive, active day... without any foul language, I hope.;-) Oh! I did the FlyLady.... for a day! Ha-Ha. My house sparkled that day too. Yes, the house is warm and toasty. Feels soooo good! You're fortunate to not have had sinus infections. I used to get them a lot worse than this when I was in my 20's. There was no delaying a doctor's appointment back then.

Nicole-X: I hope you had a great time at the wedding. Did you take another rest day today?

Well, ladies, I'm off to clean a little. Phil is working tonight into tomorrow. He won't be home till sometime tomorrow afternoon. I know it will be fruitless to try and fall asleep. So, I'll tackle some laundry while reading.

Talk to everyone tomorrow if I'm not napping.

Sweet Dreams to everyone.

Wendy
