Hi all,
Finally watched a Netflix movie (one of 2 that have been sitting here for over a week), Must Love Dogs. It was good and I think DH even liked it. He's kind of sappy today. I also took Tillie after work to get her stitches out. She was such a good girl, didn't wiggle at all and the vet had no trouble with her. He didn't even charge. Said the vet that removed her eye did a great job.
Debra, LOL re: your dog crossing her legs. When Tillie wants to go outside, she goes to the door, then runs and gets our German Shorthair to go out with her. She doesn't like to go by herself. She's a real character. I am so envious of you with a vacation coming up. My day at work was sooooo busy, I spent a ton of time today just walking documents around to get signatures on them. I was tired when I got off work. Compared to your day, mine was light. You have been a busy gal!! I've got to check out your DD's pictures. She's a doll!
Laurie, I so wish I had curly hair. Mine is so straight. I think Scotties are so cute. So are the Westies. Only thing I wouldn't like is having to take them in to be groomed. Sorry your DH is having to deal with problems re: the Faire. Shouldn't be that way.
Traci, will miss you this weekend. Have a great time and catch lots of fish and relaxation. Yes, I'm hoping that Sunday will be a productive yard day. It so needs it. We don't have humidity here so watering a lot is a must, especially with the wind that comes up in the afternoon.
Sandra, good workout today. Good to know there are rests with the Imax blast only premixes. I really need to add that one on soon. I'll keep that in mind with my one body part a week rotation. Tillie is doing just fine, she was soooo happy when we got back in the car after the vet visit. She kept nibbling softly on my hand. Love that.... For the bike work this winter, I just plan on doing what I did last winter, working out with Cathe/daily workouts and a spin session once a week with a road ride on the weekends. So far, just riding 3 days a week is working fine, keeps the burnout away. I just have to make sure that one of those days is at a high heart rate level for intervals or steady state. Tomorrow's ride will be long (80 miles approx, but done fairly leisurely). More of an endurance type. No Dove chocolate at your grocery store? Is it just an American thing? It is the best (IMO). So smooth. I did one of the lunar flows once on Shiva Shakti and it was very relaxing.
Wendy, your pictures are absolutely stunning!! You have the most perfect little figure, with nice defined muscles!!! Yep, makes me sick! Seriously, you are doing so well and you look like a teenager too!!! How do you do that? And have birthed 6 kids??? Amazing, simply amazing. We want to see pictures of Phil. Phil...Phil...Phil...Phil... Cracked me up when you wrote where Phil says "You first". I knew what he was referring to.
Nicole, glad the driving will be coming to an end. With the price of gas, I hope you have something fairly economical to drive. Way to go on the lat development and the looser legs on your pants. That feels so good, doesn't it? The bike climb wasn't crowded at all. The start was a mass start, a pace line started and I jumped on for a little bit, but knew I couldn't nor wanted to keep that pace and needed to settle into my own rhythym. Didn't take long and everyone was spread out. I'm kind of a "tweener" in our group: not as fast as the younger men, but not the slowest either. It's okay.
Cheryl, good workout today. MM abs is a good one and SB is just plain fun if you haven't done it for a while. What kind of business do you have?
Hi Tracy, glad you could pop in. Hope all is well. What is "Tone"?
Hi Amy, I'll be checking out your landscape pictures. More DOMS for your legs? I'm finding that walking helps mine out a lot.
Must go and get to bed, we're riding at 6:30 a.m. so probably won't post until later.
