Hello ladies,
Had a nice day today. Our group bike ride had 5 of us riders out on a beautiful Sunday morning. I actually got to ride in shorts, a short sleeved shirt, and short fingered cycling gloves. Felt so wonderful with the breeze on my bare skin. We did 28 miles. After I got back, I ate some lunch and then went out and played 9 holes of golf. Took a little nap when I got back and now am sitting here watching TV and typing to you all. Still have the post nasal drip thing going on

Traci, no one called us for an Easter gathering either, which didn't bother me. We had that big shindig Friday night so I was good with social events. So glad you got to clear your head and have some fun. I'm not so driven to improve my body like I used to be, but I do want to improve my cardio and strength on the bike, something that is easier for me to see results from my hard work. Plus, it's just FUN for me. Yep, getting out yesterday was good for both my DH and I. I feel so fortunate that both of us love riding the Rhino and exploring new places. Sending out good vibes for Wendell and his surgery. Hopefully, it will be anti-climactic and he'll end up wondering why he worried so much. Wish it wasn't so expensive for you guys. I'm not off work on Monday, but I am off the following Monday - Cesar Chavez Day for us California State workers. Hey, I'll take it. I come back for one day, then leave the following day for NC!

Always seems like something. DH put a new starter into his Ford Ranger pickup and says it needs a new fly wheel rebuilt or something like that. That thing has been a money pit lately.
Tracy, enjoy that rest today. I have that Brian Kest Intensive Sculpting video and it makes my legs shake too. Know time away from work has been nice for you. Back to the grind tomorrow? Hope the weather starts getting better for you

Debra, sounds like a wonderful time was had in Charleston. I keep thinking about those seafood burritos! Bet CBL missed you too http://emoticons4u.com/love/656.gif[/img]. Sorry your DD was a bit of a pill. Sometimes it's nice to get back on a schedule again.
Sandra, hope your Easter dinner with your friends was nice. Oh, so it was the "lice" friend. Seems like anyone with kids has gone through something like that, or pinkeye, or some other childhood disease/condition. Back in our day, we got mumps, chicken pox and measles. Your rotation looks good. I think I'll be getting in more cardio as I start feeling better and as the 1/2 Ironman date looms closer. Hill climbing is definitely on the calendar for this week. Yep, I have the crazy shuffle down as Tracy Staehle has it in her High Intensity Step Mix DVD, though she calls it "soccer drill". I'm looking forward to learning the other 2 combos. I usually learn new DVD's on the weekends when I have more time and don't feel rushed. Glad you enjoyed CC#2 Revised http://emoticons4u.com/sport/sport08.gif[/img]. I like that one too and it's not too long. I always picture Ewoks from Return of the Jedi in that one. I think it's where he says the village awaits you.... We have some very quiet roads to ride on here and I like doing CC on those. I ride with a mirror on my sunglasses so I'm always aware of traffic coming up behind me. I'd rather be without a water bottle than my mirror, I swear. I figured out right away what the initials to the check in meant. And only one cup of coffee too! Do you have a 5 disk DVD changer? Is it necessary to have one that you can program from one disk to the next? I think those are harder to find, but is it necessary? Did you enjoy Michael Clayton? We haven't seen that one yet.
Nicole, enjoy your rest day today and enjoy the family festivities. Your house will be all brand new looking soon. Way to go on the hard work. Are you selling it?

Kim, doesn't it seem like it's eat, eat, eat sometimes? I've been over at my parents house before right after breakfast and Dad is already wondering where they will go for lunch. Way to go on finishing PlyoX for the last time. DH finished the leftover shrimp and steak today. He loves to cook and I'm so thankful for that. Wish he'd make some popcorn right now LOL! Yep, we had 5 for the ride. My 75 year young friend was the first to show up. Bet he had 35 or more miles when he got done. I had 28 on my cyclometer. Very pleasurable ride. I've got the best riding buddies! Oreo cheesecake, sounds wonderful

Must go now,
Jeanette
