Xer......X again Monday.............

Hi ladies,
Had a good day at work today. Couple errands after work, got home and tackled that mountain of dishes from yesterday. I had a ton of undone dishes on the counter when my folks and grandma came last night. We then cooked dinner for them and that added to the pile. Of course, I didn't do the dishes last night, but rest assured, they were waiting for me to do tonite. And this little grasshopper got them done too. Tomorrow will be buying a Christmas tree permit and getting my hair cut and colored (oh Wendy, where are you?) DH bought me a bracelet for my birthday and I had to take it in to the jewelry store to have a different clasp put on it, plus take out a link. It has turquoise stones in it, something I would not have picked for myself, but the longer I wore it, the more I liked it. Plus, he got it for me so I'll keep it.

Latrese, I'm so glad you had a nice time with your family on Thanksgiving. I missed having my kids there but hopefully, we will all be together at Christmas time. Are you starting the X in the morning? Hope you are all recovered from the holidays.

Traci, do you have clients today? Hope your shoulder is fine. My DH's both hurt him when he lays down at night. On weekends, he sleeps on the reclining couch. Doesn't put as much pressure on those shoulders. They fall asleep and ache. Poor guy. He definitely cannot do pushups. We tried one day and they killed his shoulders.

Lea, I remember liking S&A during my first round. I too will sub YogaX. I haven't seen Bryan in some time. I'm looking forward to doing yoga this round.

Debra, sorry about the scruffy to scarey boys on campus. Wow, must be my age, but young college boys are just not as attractive as I used to think. Hate the way so many boys dress, pants hanging down, baggy clothes. Yes, I was a real flounder today. Banana... Superman... Banana... Superman. I can only get better, right? So glad your DD loved the concert. She'll remember it forever. Too cute about the mini-mule and naming it after her. Does she still like horses? I'm missing Wendy too, and hoping that she's okay. She probably is having a blast. Wonder if she's getting her daily dose of coffee. Glad you got your yoga in today. I'm looking forward to enjoying Eoin again. Yoga is probably perfect for you during your cold recovery.

Cheryl, hope you enjoyed that rest day today. You are not doing the X, are you? It was tough going back to work today after 4 days off. Office was very cold this morning after our temps have dropped. Are you running with your friend?

Sandra, yes, it was Core Syn for me. Believe me, doing Core Syn in the first week instead of the 4th week is definitely tougher. You feel like you are just thrown in there with a weaker core. Happily, though, the time did fly by, along with Dreya. Yeehaw! 991 calories burned? Sounds like a lot, but who really knows for sure? Not sure where the wildlife will go, probably those that survived will head toward the houses. I feel very bad for the animals, don't even want to let my mind dwell on what happened. So glad your little one is feeling better.

Nicole, your Meez cracks me up! We definitely need snow and ice up in this country. Our lakes are so low. CS was something else for you too? Not fair having that one as the first one. So humiliating. And I thought I was in pretty good shape too. I think we'll get our fitness back pretty quickly. It's just different stuff than we are used to. I'm not taking pictures this time. Just going by the mirror and hopefully drop a few pounds and get rid of that layer of fat. Can't wait to see your rotation. Back feeling better? By you doing doubles of yoga, does that mean you do extra yoga on your strength days too?

Tracy, CS IS hard on the back. My boats were not very good, actually nothing was all that good yet. I was very careful though, and also kept any weights that I did very light indeed. Amy's step workout sounded intense. Is it very, very complex? Does it have a lot of high impact? Sorry about the blood sugar fluctuations, not a nice feeling. Wow, if Amy's step makes HIS look easy, well, it must be pretty darned complex. Yes, I did look klutzy today. Know I will get better though. Looking for good changes to be happening to my abs and core. I really liked those results the first Round. Is your DS still getting a Specialized (think that's what it was) bike? Did he settle on the color? My next bike will not be blue as I have 2 blue bikes. Love red bikes. I have a friend that has a bike that changes color from purple to green. I used to think he had 2 different bikes. His is a Cannondale.

Got to run, hi to Swifty, Amy, Carol and Wendy.

Hi Ladies!!!!

We made it safely. OMW!!!!! WHAT A CULTURE SHOCK starting the moment we left the airport! Words just can't even begin to describe the last few days. I wanted to post pictures on my blog. But, that will have to wait. I can't use my computer at the local internet cafe. I have to take it to somewhere like starbucks. Let's not even get into the transportation arrangements!!!! I'll have to post a picture of that as well! Ha-Ha!

Phil was right! I am camping in the middle of a jungle, located in the middle of a city! Sandra, I spend my evenings battling mosquitos with an electric shock racket!!! What I don't catch, I pray the gekkos eat. Yes, there are tons of lizards crawling outside on the house!!!!

I haven't forgotten about you all. Even though it's a day ahead here, I waited until today to start Day 1!:* :* :*

I'm going to go and figure out how to call International for less than what I'm currently paying.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!

Wendy
