X & XX'er - Happy Monday

teddy16410

Cathlete
Happy Monday Xers!!!

Got up early and dove right in with my cardio…. 34 minutes of Imax 3 1-6 plus 30 minutes Cardio Camp HiLo (I kept that low tho) …. Been a LONG time since I did cardio that early…. Took me a few minutes to get into it all but then was fine….. until DH popped in to say goodbye for work and asked “IS YOUR JOGBRA ON INSIDE OUT?” LOLOLOL- Guess that’s why I drink a pot of coffee BEFORE working out!

Wendy………………………………..THIS IS THE FINAL DAY OF YOUR JOURNEY!!!!! WooHoo!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for you my dear! Way to hang in there thru MANY obstacles!!! Its AMAZING how much we go thru in out lives when you look at 90 day snapshots ! Way to go- no easy task! Thanks for the prayers yesterday- we can all use them regularly! {{{{{wendy (x)}}}}}}

TeddyGirl…………………………….SO happy all turned out well with your vacation! What a heartwarming community project you are involved in! Hope your nephew is still on the mend and that all is well in your world once again

Jeanette X & Sandra X………………………………….Hope you are both safe and sound and that your weekends were filled with love & laughter!

Cheryl………………………………………….WOW on your Sunday workouts! You are in peak form these days. I still read WW Check-in… I was a bit horrified by the weekend events…. {{{{{{{{{{{{Cheryl * Family}}}}}}}}}}}}}}. I do hope it is all working out QUICKLY so everyone can move forward. Many prayers….

TracyX……………………………………….. Thanks for feedback…. I am just overwhelmed with life right now and I think I am looking for a place I can feel in control so I am over thinking/planning rotations. I am taking a deep breath and clarifying my goals and seeking some AFPA advice as well as some solid plans from other sources. All I know is that to burn this fat I have to do more cardio… The consensus seems to be 5 days a week… Alternating Hiit 30 + SSC 30 one day, SSC 60 next day, and so on…. My real decision seems to be alternating all cardio days with strength days (like BFL) or AM cardio + PM strength….. I don’t want to lose my yoga time so that decision may be easier than I think. Anyway…. Taking yesterday and today to decide. Hope life in your part of the world is settling into some type of routine. Still sending prayers for FIL and all involved.

Nicole………………………………………….LOL on the DH discussion.. Sometimes I wish I could have more of those with mine- then we have one and I wish I hadn’t! LOL Hope all your situations are resolving harmoniously!

AMY…………………………………………..Happy Day Off! Aka: sleep day!!!! Hope you got your walk in last night and that the weather made it pleasant!

DebraX………………………………………….Hope your Yoga Day got all the cobwebs out and helped open your chakras so you can focus on the task of unpacking! I just know that once you get into the flow it’ll be done in a week! A believe its DD’s paint day???? I cant wait to see the vibrant color combination she chose!

Laurie XX………………………………………..Cant wait to hear all about the Faire this weekend! Was everyone looking just BEAUTIFUL??? All your handiwork must certainly make it ultra special!

Happy Day to all who follow…. Off to get cleaned up for hospital.

Hi to all!! Waiting for whatever service people decide to show up today...Should have the painter's here to finish up and then the guys who are installing our surround sound system....And then I think I will be done! WooHoo! We had a nice time at the Sunday school party...I hadn't seen a lot of them since my dad died..and hadn't seen them before that since high school! I am planning on PUB today...plus abs from some other dvd...PUB does not have my favorite ab section...so I'll figure something out. Did "tragically hips" yesterday and felt much better after...I think the DOMS in my legs are pretty much gone today...I guess that means I'll have to finish up my planting this evening!

We leave for NYC on Wednesday, so I will be out of touch for about 5 days. DH is coming in from Russia for business and DD and I are heading up there to visit and see the city. I've never done the sight seeing thing in NY...and of course, we have to go to American Girl Place and FAO Schwartz. We also have tickets to go to Mary Poppins on Broadway...should be a fun (and hot) trip.

Nicole...Hope the "discussion" went okay. Why can't we ever "discuss" during the day instead of at night when you should be sleeping?!? My DH always wants to start a "discussion" right before dinner so that I have no appetite. Hope you had a nice rest day. Is this your last week...No, I guess 2 more?

Amy...Hope you had a nice walk with your co-worker. And got some much needed rest!

Tracy...Well, I am sorry that things are so rough with your FIL...but I am glad at least that you have taken yourself out of the equation as much as possible. I am sorry that your DH and BIL can't see the good of having someone else help with their dad. I am also an only child...and don't have this huge extended family. My BF is one of nine and it always amazes me to hear stories about her growing up. Hope you had fun with GS yesterday. Try to stay cool!

Traci...LOL about the bra on inside out!! And I gotta tell you, I am pretty impressed that your DH even noticed that it was inside out!! I am always putting on my panties inside out. I don't know why. Glad you got that cardio out of the way before the heat of the day. Hope all goes well with your MIL today. I will be thinking of you guys.

Wendy...You have the craziest sleep patterns of anyone I know! Hope Phil got his project done last night. And yeah on the tiled floors! I really like my Gary Fisher bike....it has been a great bike to relearn how to ride on. Try to check those out at your local store. Glad you had a good time up visiting your sis! And I will take all the prayers I can get right now!

Annointed...Glad to see you back online. Hope things are okay with your nephew. Glad you had a good time with the family during your vacation.

Cheryl...Sounds like you had a killer workout yesterday! I am going to set that fridge up in my workout room today. How much longer until the road trip?

Okay...still no service people...but I need to get the dog up. She has been so bad lately. Last night while I was outside watering my new plants she was eating the remains of the squash casserole. Bad dog!!

Morning Ladies,

Rotation: Cathe's July 07
Workout: BM2 Upper Body Weights

Opening Saturday didn't start out as well as Sunday. Since management staff changed things up quite a bit from last year, we didn't know how some of our timings would go. But on Sunday it went much better. DH was very pleased with the weekend, except for the heat. We had quite a few people go down, but they are all ok. It happened on both days around 3pm. The air just seems to go to a standstill at that time. Youngest DD had her new dress on, and everyone said she looked so grown up.

I have made the decision to do Cathe's July Rotation this month. With our busy weekends it will be nice to have my workout done in under an hour. :) But of course I need to change things up a bit, so I will change Tue with Mon workouts. BM2 Upper Body Weights. My feet are sore today, so I need to take it easy on the poor things. :D

Will look at the thread from Firday through Sunday when I get the time today.

Laurie

Hi, everyone!

Traci, great workout! And thanks for the hugs! I'm still pretty worked up over the weekend family events. Thankfully my ex has become a good co-parent and I was able to take Nadia there until the stepdaughter is GONE and I think DH and I are in complete agreement that the SD will not be back. He'll go to see her in Portland from now on. AAAAGH!!!

Laurie, the Cathe July Rotation sounds like fun for you - not too big a time commitment and lots of fun variety.

Debra, where will you stay in NYC? Most of the hotels there have great workout rooms. And there's always running in Central Park... or some of the Cathe DVDs that don't require equipment so you can run them from your PC.

RT is in 4 more weeks. Yikes!

I'm 2/3 through my workout. This morning was PUB (substituting B&G abs, since I missed them yesterday) plus a 60 min cardio mish-mosh. I started out with the SJP/Step Blast cardio pre-mix, but the disc is sticking... so I'll finish up with something else.

Gotta work off my angry energy so I don't take off DH's head }( }( } (at least this morning I'm laughing about it. I guess that's progress)

Have a wonderful morning, everyone! And thanks for letting me vent.

Cheryl

Good morning all:)

Getting ready for work, I took 1/2 day today, me bad I know....x( x(

I just finished Imax 2 got me real good. Tonight thinking to do a UB & abs workout, I'll see. Talk too you guys in a bit.

Good Morning Ladies,

Today is XStretch, music lessons, and meeting with recruiter to find out eldest's test scores.

I'm a bit disappointed with my weight and measurements this morning. I'm not sure what to think. I don't see how I could gain so much weight over the weekend: 3 pounds. My measurements aren't that different. I'm hoping it's water weight from riding???

BBL for personals. Have to get ready and make the girls practice before we leave.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!!!
Wendy

Wendy, if your measurements are the same then the weight is most certainly not real. Don't panic!

Hi Gang,

I like what you've done with the place! Did someone slap a new coat of paint on the walls? Very nice.

WENDYX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell us how you feel about having just completed P90X!

TraciX - I keep forgetting to tell you that we've seriously synced up. I got AF last Wednesday, as you did! We were both early! How crazy is that? LMAO about the inside-out bra! I'm vaguely aware that you're dealing with MIL health issues for the next few days? I hope all goes smoothly with her. While I haven't even managed to skim the weekend posts, I take from your post above that you're still trying to lose bodyfat? Can I ask what your target BF% is, and how far you are from that? In your pictures you look so lean, I can't imagine where you want to lose bodyfat?

Nicole - How are you doing? Where are you in the X? Are you going to do Cathe's July '07 rotation when you're done, too?

JeanetteX - Are you getting a chance to watch the TF? I'm catching bits and pieces each day.

DebraX - PUB abs aren't one of your favourite? I love them: quick and efficient. I always take a break during the pikes because my arms need the rest. Your trip to NYC sounds enviable. I've never been there, but it's on my "Some Day" list.

Teddygirl - How's your nephew? I'm so sorry.

LaurieXX - How's life without P90X? Are you happy to be doing something different? I can imagine how hot you all must get in those costumes. You obviously love what you do!!!

Amy, TracyX, I hope you had a great weekend!

I'll have to go back and peruse the weekend posts. Saturday was my rest day, Sunday I did DrillMax (woohoo!!), and this morning I ran outside with CC#2, and did KPC abs & stretch. I was supposed to do a 45 min ss run, but boredom kicks in too fast, so I did the 40 mins of CC#2, with an additional 5 mins tacked on to bring me up to 45 mins. I had a hoot, despite getting rained on, and dealing with a mildly upset stomach. We had an intestinal bug go through DD#1 and myself over the weekend. I think we're doing better today.

Well, DD#2 is looking for some attention, so I'd better go. Have a great day,
SandraX

Hello again Ladies,

I just wanted to give you all a big THANK YOU!!! for the cheers for me finishing the X again. I am very proud of myself, and feel good that I could push myself through those tough workouts again. Also sorry I didn't get on the post Friday, but see... it took until today for me to land back on the planet from all of you strong ladies throwing me in the air. :7 :7 :7

Laurie XX

Hi all,

I rode the eliptical for 48 minutes, went 3.95 miles, and supposedly burned 325 calories, then immediately did Tone, because I was feeling a little stiff.

Wendy - I wouldn't worry about the weight. My muscles are always pumped up with water after a bike ride. It will go down in a couple of days. Congratulations on finishing the X. It is quite an accomplishment, eespecially at the odd hours that you workout.

Cheryl - I must have missed what happened. I'll have to read back and see. I hate family issues though.

Sandra - Glad you're back. No need to catch up if you don't have time.

Laurie - Sounds like you had a nice weekend, but a hot one. We went to one of those years ago in Maryland. It was fun!

Traci - I hope all is going well. I came up with a suggestion for a generic rotation, I'll post it tomorrow. I have to retrieve the file. I think that going to 5 cardio per week right away might be too much.

Hi to anyone I missed.

Tracy

Good evening ladies...Hope all is well with everyone. My painting is finally done...YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! I still have the surround sound guys tomorrow..but they should be done in the morning...and then my house should actually be mine with no workers coming and going....of course, this happens just in time for my tip to NYC!

I ended up doing PUB plus BG stability ball abs. Enjoyed my workout...and felt lots of burning, so I am sure that I will have DOMS tomorrow. I should be doing cardio of some sort tomorrow..but I have some plants that I have to get in the ground before I go on my trip...so we'll see.

Wendy...I didn't realize today was your final day....WOOHOO!!!!!! Congrats on a tough job well done!!!! I will be interested to see your final pics and hear about your measurements. Are you just pumped that you're done?!? Hip-hip hooray!!!!!!

Sandra..I think it is the pikes that makes me not like PUB abs..my arms are normally fried by then and I just can't do the pikes as well as I should since my upper body is so fatigued. So sorry to hear about the stomach bug....those are never fun. Hope everyone is recovering!

Traci....Hope MIL is doing well...and that DH's family is actually pitching in to help.

Tracy..Hope you enjoyed the elliptical today...I was just thinking I need to go and price them. I just walked outside and my glasses fogged up the humidity is so bad!

Laurie...Glad your weekend went well...How long does the faire last? Do mostly the same people perform each year? Sorry the heat took such a toll on you guys.

Cheryl...I'm sure I could workout at the hotel...but I am going to have DD with me and DH will be working in the morning, so he won't be around to keep an eye on her. She's 6..and just a bit too small to leave in the hotel room by herself...and she would go nuts watching me workout! I am sure we will get plenty of walking in while we are there....and maybe some pool time. Hope things have settled down at your house a bit!

Okay..I think I'm pretty caught up...I think it must be time for a celebratory cocktail for having my painting complete!!

Hi to Nicole (where are you?), Amy, Swifty, and Jeanette (out in the wilds)!

Hi again,

Debra - I missed you before. You must have lots of perseverance and also be domestic. I think I would have given up on the house stuff by now. I'm sure yours looks a lot better than mine. Thanks for asking about FIL. I'm still getting tired of DH mildly complaining about it because he has made a choice.

Annointed - I wish I could take 1/2 a day off. I'm done Thursday. I can't wait. If it wasn't so much more $$ I'd go back to 10 month.

Traci - Here are some ideas to ponder. You could stick with week one for six weeks, or rotate. It gives a nice balance of cardio and weights, so not to loose hard gained muscle. I don't think that I could go back to 5 days of cardio no matter what. I looked at myself in a window reflection and I think my rear has shrunk, which was not the intention; too much running.

Week 1

Day 1: Cardio SS (low intensity 60) / yoga
Day 2: Upper Split / yoga
Day 3: Lower interval circuit 45-60 minutes (cardio and lower weights), yoga
Day 4: Cardio SS ( 45 minutes, or kickboxing) / yoga
Day 5: Upper Split / yoga
Day 6: Cardio HITT 30 minutes / yoga
Day 7: Lower weights (more strength oriented) and floor work of choice / yoga

Week 2

Day 1: Total body circuit (like boot camp etc) / yoga
Day 2: Cardio SS (50-60 minutes) / yoga
Day 3: Leaner legs or something similar / yoga
Day 4: Total upper in 1 hour/ yoga
Day 5: Cardio SS (40-50) or (20 SS plus 30 kickboxing) / yoga
Day 6: Cardio Hitt / yoga
Day 7: Lower weights (more strength oriented) and floor work / yoga

I'm considering the yoga, toning for the lower body. I previewed B Babtiste (again) and he makes lots of comments about achieving lower body tone with yoga.

Have a nice evening everyone.

Tracy

Nicole - I hope all is well. Anther discussion tonight? Better you than me. 4:45am comes too early for me to be wasting time at night.

This is what happens when I don't open up another window, multiple posts.

Later guys,

Tracy

Phase 3/ Week 12/ Day 1/ Round 1

CS&T+ARX

Wow! I was totally bonking today doing CST I know it was because of the BAD food I ate yesterday. It was my dad's birthday so we had a bit too much dessert:( I am sorry I did today. Sorry I'm posting so late but I have been running errands all day with my mom. Oh, how something simple turns into something so drawn out I'll never know.

Wendy, How nice to come home to tile! Phil is such a sweetie and quite the hard worker:) My husband has a Trek Madone and really enjoys it. It cost an arm and a leg but it is warrantied for quite a long time. Sounds like you had quite an erratic sleeping schedule on your little trip. How nice to be able to get on a bike and just ride. We don't have that luxury here in bustling Southern Cal. There was a recipe in Southern Living this month that called for fired and blendered chiles too. What a coincidence:) Thanks for the prayers! If the weight was in a metter of days, it's water weight. Drink lots and stay away from salt and sugar and call me in the morning:):):)

Traci-X, ROFL!! Leave it to our DH's to inform us when we look silly:) At least he didn't let you go into public first:p I too find it hard to get my butt moving for early morning cardio. I like that it's out of the way but I'm usually tripping over myself through the warm-up. I am glad the late night discussion came to a good end. I don't know why I bring big stuff up so late but there seems to be no other time in the day with small children around. Aren't finances fun?:)

Debra, Yeah, NY sightseeing. My sisters went with my mom and grandma last April and had a blast! My sisters made it a point to go to China Town and get "fake" purses. Turns out they are real and probably stolen. What a bunch of silly girls:) I am glad I didn't go, I am not into purses and there is no way I'm going somewhere shady to get one. Other than that, lots of fun and so much to see. Yes, late night "discussions" are horrible but at least some things were resolved. I tend to have these late at night because it's the only time the kids aren't around. I do not like to argue in front of them because I feel it brings with it a sense of insecurity. We'll miss you while you're gone:(

Laurie, How funny, I think I am going to do her July rotation as well with a little yoga thrown on. We'll be on the same track again. I am interested to see if a lighter workout will help for a little recovery time. Let me know how it works for you. What a drag that the weather didn't cooperate:( I am glad that DD dress went over well though!

Cheryl, What a weekend! I am glad you picked up DD cell phone and saw what was going on. It's tough having uncontrollable outside influences on our kids. That is one of the reasons I am so glad mine go to such a small school where all the parents are like minded. It is amazing how young kids start getting into trouble thses days. Glad SD won't be around anymore. I am glad to see you are directing your frustration toward better things like workouts:)

SandraX, Glad you are doing better! I've missed your posts lately:( I am almost done with the X. One more hard week then it's on to recovery and I'm done, YEAH! I am going to do July rotation because I know I can manage it and still add yoga in. July is a busy month for me. My birthday is on the 23rd and my anniversary is on the 31st. There are also several family members with birthdays in July and my grandparents will be out for a visit. I hope that the break will give my body a chance to recover. The X is getting much easier for me, but I have my days.

Tracy, I think it has been awhile since I've given you a hrd time about not having pictures posted. Right now I have sandy blond hair, trim and tan in my mind. You better correct me with a picture soon or the image will be set:) Nice workout today. Wish I had room for an elliptical. For now it's all DVD workouts for me.

Jeanette, Aren't you back yet? I though you were only going to be gone for six days, it seems like forever. The weather here has been hot but it cooled down yesterday and today and I hope it did the same for you.

Swift Amy, Hope all is going well.

Amy, What a drag that they tightened down on internet usage. We miss hearing from you as often.

Anointed, Glad to have you popping in again.

Nicole

Nicole - bummer you were bonking!! Maybe lack of sleep along with the dessert? Anyway, I hope you get better rest tonight.

The SD/family saga continues... I spoke to T-Mobile tonight to see about blocking the phone numbers of all the kids 5 boys, 1 girl and SD) who are now trying to text my daughter's phone, as well as seeing if they could just disable the camera.

They can't. They can trade me for a phone with no camera, but it still receives... and no way to block the numbers. So I deleted them out of her phonebook and then had T-Mobile change her phone number for a $15 fee. AAAGH! Although it was mainly the photos and videos SD was taking with my daughter's phone, not the ones coming in, giving me the biggest heartburn. DH is not happy with me. Thinks I'm seriously overreacting... may be headed for a "discussion" myself tonight, unfortunately.

Oh, the joys of combined families.

Have a great night, everyone!
Cheryl

Nicole, what an insightful thought ;-) Luckily, the discussion wasn't too long or too painful. I think we've come closer to detente - and we've agreed she'd not going to have access to my daughter again for a very long time (and for very good reasons). It's progress ... }(

Thanks so much to all of you for your moral support! {{{{{{hug}}}}}}

And here's to a good night's sleep for all of us

Good Evening Ladies,

IT IS FINISHED!!!:7 :7 :7 :D :D :D :) :) :)

I celebrated with a home made banana split (half scoop of chocolate chip mint & half scoop of chocolate with a small banana) and two Lactaid pills.:)

While I'm waiting for my corvette, I'll go ahead and start my acceptance speech. ;-)

My thoughts on the X? Hmmm.... Well, it would have been better had my diet had been better. DRAT! However, I learned a lot from doing the X. I learned that I still HATE core work (ARX), recovery week is crucial for me when lifting heavy (painting qualifies), and cross training (yoga) is necessary. Prior to the X, I was doing mainly Cathe's step, Jari's S&L, and The Bar Method. I think if I would have continued down that road without increasing my weights/decreasing reps, I would have hit a plateau real fast! That means, I learned that I need to buy more workout dvds instead of clothes.:7 As you can see, I'm a slow learner!!!}( I also think that 60 days of the X would have been enough for me. (Traci, you're so smart for moving on after Phase 2.) If I ever do another round with my dropout partner}(, he'll have to drag me kicking and screaming during Phase 3, should he last that long!!!!!!:p

I also learned that I couldn't have finished the X without the support of EVERYONE of you LOVELY LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) :) :) Thank you so much for sharing all your experiences and advice! Y'all kept me laughing and focused (NO SUBBING). Although, I do believe y'all let me down a couple of times (week mixup, wrong workouts, 1st half of YogaX being easier)}( :7 ;-), I forgive you (cough, cough, Sandra).:7 ;-) My life has truly been blessed and enriched from getting to know y'all better through the X check-in!:* :* :*

Enough about WendyX!!!!!!!!!!:p:7 Time for Personals!!!:D

Traci-X!!! How is your MIL? Did the surgery go well? I'm with you about not chaning plans to accomodate spur of the moment family members. It's still nice to see that Wendell's siblings are making an effort to help MIL with her recovery. LOL on dh noticing your bra!:7

Debra-X!!! Glad I caught ya before you left for the Big Apple! Awww, hopefully your hips won't feel so tragic tomorrow! There's this one muscle that runs from the side of my glute to the side of my quad that is SORE! I guess it's considered my hip? I find deep massages only make it worse. Yet, I still whine until Phil massages me!}( I don't know if I can afford a Gary Fisher Marlin. They are selling for $500 new. I might be able to swing a used one if I like it and can find one on craigslist. BAD DOG! Baby once ate an entire box of chocolate Dunkin doughnut holes. I wouldn't have noticed if she hadn't have acted so guilty hiding under the coffee table. LOL Oh, I love your Meez girl riding her bike! She looks more like you with the blonde hair. I'm glad you don't have the black streaks in real life though. ;-) Oh! Don't hold your breath on seeing my 90 day pics. Until I lose some of this water weight, I'm not letting a camera near my legs!;-)

Laurie-X!!! Glad to see that you safely landed and your weekend went well despite the heat. If you had your picturetrail set up, we could see how pretty your dd was in her new dress! ;-) I'm sure she was beautiful! Have fun with Cathe's July 07 Rotation. I need to find a basic rotation and plug in what I already own. I don't want to buy any more dvds until after the RT.

Cheryl!!! What is up with SD? How old is she? Hope your discussion is productive with a good outcome! I can't imagine what it would be like if Phil had dc before we married. I don't think I could be loving or forgiving enough if it negatively influenced my dc. Shoot! I have a hard enough time with my older boys negatively influencing their younger sisters!!!!! sigh. I can't believe the RT is so soon! Time flies! Hopefully, my roomie will be able to go. She's been having problems with her knees. Crossing my fingers that she'll be able to make it. Also, I don't want to room by myself with no one to gossip with before sleep.;-) Thanks for calming me down. I've never seen my weight jump up so fast. Maybe an extra dose of coffee will help flush out some of this water. ;-) I'm staying away from the scales until I feel a little thinner.

Teddygirl!!! Is it alright if I call you by your old name? I've grown fond of using it.:) Hope you had a wonderful day despite having to work a half day!

Sandra-X!!! You're such a hoot!!! A STRONG one at that too! I saw your post on OD about using a medicine ball during Low Max. I'm truly impressed. I have my doubts if I can even do it as produced without holding extra weight! While you giving your girls attention, give them a kiss on the cheek from your co-XGRAD!!!! Tell them I said thanks for sharing their mommy!:)

Tracy-X: Thanks for making me feel at ease with the weight increase. I feel better knowing that it's not my imagination that bike rides can do that to a person. I rode as fast as I could Sunday morning since I didn't have to wait on dd. I do work out at odd hours compared to you early morning risers! How I envy y'all. You all are a steady crowd. :) I also want to thank you for keeping off the IL (injury list) during the X!!!:* Oooooo! I like your generic rotation. Since I don't have anything scheduled, I think I'll try it out! :) Sorry to hear that your dh is still on the fence with FIL. I'm sure he'll make a wise, loving decision when he's ready.

Nicole: I've been meaning to ask you about your father. How has he been doing since that freakish attack at the gas station? Hope he had a wonderful birthday filled with family and friends!!! I'm really leaning towards getting a Trek since I see so many on craigslist. I think it's because most of the bike dealers carry Treks in our area. I have so much to learn before I can commit to buying one though. I really don't want to spend more than $300. Where does your dh ride? We have bike trails nearby. But, I'd still have to drive my car to get to them. I love the country area where my sister lives. There are trails and beautiful country roads to chose. What dish in Southern Living calls for chiles? Did they say how long blended chilies stay fresh?

Jeanette-X: How are you? Can't wait for you to come back!!!!

Swift Amy: Hope the X is working wonders for you!

It's after midnight. I need to get some shut eye. Tomorrow is here already.

Sweet Dreams!
Wendy
