XTRAIN Workouts for Weight Loss

XTRAIN is designed to be a total body self contained fitness program, but you can certainly substitute different non-XTRAIN workouts. The the beauty of an undulating periodization program is it makes it very easy to substitute workouts without sabotaging the benefits from the periodization of the workout. We will even offer different rotations for XTRAIN using other videos from our "Low Impact series" and from other videos we've done recently and in the past.

XTRAIN makes substitution easy and fun so you are much less likely to get bored with your workout program. This will also make it easier to get back into your workout program if you have to miss some days due to illness, business trip, family function or a vacation.

As for XTRAIN being a weight loss rotation it really depends on what your current body composition is and how many calories you're consuming. Any workout program can be classified as a "weight loss" program since you're burning calories. To lose weight you just have to burn more calories than you consume. Our goal with XTRAIN is to give you classic kick butt Cathe cardio workouts along with tough strength training and metabolic workouts like you've seen in STS and workouts like AfterBurn. These are all calorie crushing workouts. Most people will probably use XTRAIN to lose weight, but it doesn't have to be used just for weight loss.

There are a lot of video series on the market today, but few contain a good mix of all three types of workouts: great cardio workouts with pumping music, good lower body workouts, and good strength training workouts. This is where XTRAIN will be different from most other programs. If you're looking to lose weight, few workouts compare to the calorie burn in XTRAIN. If you're looking to increase strength and tone up XTRAIN offers some really tough and thorough strength training workouts that will challenge even an advanced exerciser.
