X Factor Thursday!!!

Good Morning Ladies,

Thanks for getting us started Wendy. This morning is Imax 3. I was feeling a little foggy this morning but will get goin' w/ my w/o after I finish my second cup of coffee.

Well I did much better with the sugar or should I say without yesterday. I don't think its realistic for me to cut out all sugar, chocolate and sweets, but I can stop picking at all the candy around the office on a regular basis. I will continue to work on this.

Jerod started wrestling at his school. He's never wrestled before so I'm not sure where the sudden interest came from. So know he has wrestling practice 5 days a week and football practice 3 days per week. Football is almost over, they have a semi-final game this weekend. If they lose then they are done, otherwise its another week. Then he has a football tournament also. He also said he needs to lose 1lb for wrestling. He's at the bottom of the next weight class and he'd rather be at the top of the lower weight class. He's doing really good staying out of the sugar, bless his heart.

I will bbl to see what everyone's up to today!
 
Hey girls .. gotta post quickly .. have an ALL DAY meeting :mad: aaaahhhhhh .. I will be ILL by this afternoon!!!

I missed my afternoon run .. the dang sun is setting too quickly now .. it was just about dark by the time I got home .. and no way am I running in the woods at night ... too many coyotes!!!

since I have the freaking meeting I will not get my lunch workout .. and will probably be served some super fattening fat ladden meal .. like bar-b-que .. or FRIED chicken fingers .. keeping my fingers crossed they cater the meal .. plllleeeeaaaaseeee!!!

Tonight's class will be a mish mosh of plyo work, planks, non-weighted LB work, pushups, and core work ... ending w/power yoga cool down!!:)

OK .. gotta jet .. wish I drank caffiene .. something tells me I am gonna need it!!! Will try to get back after the meeting and b-4 class to see what everyone is up to!!! Have a great one!!:D

well i am still feeling under the weather. a stinkin' cold and on top of that it's TTOM...so i am feeling miserable.

no workout again for me today. it's hard because i am missing my favoritest cycling class today:mad:

laura- sorry about the all meeting. hate those. i have a noontime one today and i am not looking forward to it.

diana- how awesome your son wants to wrestle. it's amazing how kids just decide to do something on a whim. my oldest ds never showed an interest in football now he can't wait to play next season.

off to medicate myself so i can make it thru the day.....TTYL
 
Afternoon girls

I went down and got plyoX outta the way.:p My right hip is a bit sore....not sure why and so I thought yoga would be the thing to do....it's on my schedule anyways so that's what it was.
Now I have the rest of the day to myself. At least until 4:20 when I have a Basketball meeting to go to for Cody. I plan on getting some things done including some cabinets that need some deep cleaning.:(

Wendy - Hey.....what's on the agenda for today?

Diana - Thankfully I work with guys so there is hardly ever anything there to eat. I do have a stash in my office though. Gum usually helps me from snacking thru the day. I pop some in after lunch and it gets me thru until about 3 or 4, when I need to eat again. It my witching hour with food I swear!:mad:
That's great about Jarod starting another sport. I'm sure he'll be able to drop that pound in no time. In fact, if he's watching the sugar, he'll probably drop more than that.
Cody started basketball this week. I'm so glad he is doing something. He's generally a pretty lazy kid so I love to see him sweat!! I'm also looking forward to going to some games.:)

Dee Dee - Sick and TTOM? Wicked combo!:eek: Sorry it is impinging on your workout schedule though. Get lots o' fluids and some rest. You'll bounce back in no time.;)

Laura - Any chance you could sneak an ipod into your meeting? Ug! I don't envy you one bit, especially without caffeine.:confused:
Well, at least you can work out your frustrations at class tonight. Just be careful coming home!!!

My rotation was supposed to be done like this:

Today: LowMax
Tmrw: PUB + PLB floor work

But because I have sore hammies I will be doing it this way:

Today: PUB
Tmrw: LowMax + PLB floor work

Ang: You are so good about cleaning. I know you say your house often is a disaster but I find it hard to believe.

Sunny: Awww poor thing! I hope you feel better soon!

Laura: Meetings. UGH! And ALL DAY!?! Triple UGH! I've never had more then a couple hour meeting and even THAT was too much for me to take! :eek: You are in my prayers. LOL :p

Diana: Wow, thank goodness FB is almost over. They are too tough on the kids today I swear. I dread the day my son gets involved in sports. If he even chooses to at all. We'll see. I have a sweet tooth myself that can be hard to control. I have good days and bad days. Ofcourse, the more good days the better. :)

Okay so today is going to be a rest day after all. Do you believe it!? :p I am feeling very tired and was tight on time anyway so I bagged it.

That being said, I guess Low Max is on tap for tomorrow! Oh my poor aching legs!:D

Well meeting was a bit shorter than expected .. still 7 hours is a LOOOOOONG meeting!!! :confused: but I made my merchandise losses goal and got some extra incentive money :D I am happy!! But lunch .. it was catered .. but ...:( .. ready for this: FRIED chicken - roasted chkn - mashed potatoes - home made mac and cheese - collard greens - FRIED cornbread - candied yams - and apple cobbler!! :confused::eek::confused: WTH??? OH my .. I did opt for roasted chckn .. but got the taters and mac and cheese .. and 2 small peices of yams .. OK .. FAT - CARB - SALTand SUGAR overload at lunch .. one hour after I ate .. OUCHIE .. my tummy started rebelling . . not fun to be in a meeting and be that uncomfortable ...:eek:... I will spare you the details but I am just now feeling better!! :confused:

I feel like a bloated slug now!!! :( poor .. pooor .. poooooor class!! Although I may do super step cardio and forego the bouncing plyos due to the tummy issues!! :(

Wendy .. you have been DOMING all week .. me too except for today!! sounds like your body is telling you .. you NEED a rest day .. enjoy !! :)

DeeDee - so sorry you got full blown CRUD!! NOT FUN .. healing vibes sent your way!!! Get your meds and get some rest girl!!

Ang - I WISH I could bring an ipod to the meetings .. NO WAY .. we have "interactive" meetings .. the ones where they ask us to answer questions .. make suggestions .. sometimes play stupid "working together" games .. ugh .. if you get caught goofing off .. or not paying attention they will make everyone aware of it .. lol!!! I got so sleepy at one point I actually got a full blown COKE .. yes a cocacola.. WOW.. :eek: .. maybe one wont hurt me!!

Di .. once you stop the sugar intake it will get easier and easier .. then you wont crave it .. well except for TTOM ... all bets are off then .. then you can consider it medicinal!! LOL congrats to Jerod on taking on a new sport .. wrestling is a good sport .. lots of strength, agility, and smarts used there .. he will really need to concentrate on UB and LB and CORE strength .. b/c think it is an ALL body .. tuff to the bone kinda activity!! he will do good!!

Jaqcue .. if you have a SHARKS game due .. good luck!! My team plays tonight ??? ... they finally picked a starting QB .. not a rotating one .. this game will be his first STARTING game.. he was the JR alternate .. but his main problem is thinking quickly on his feet .. he is strong . . and throws good and RUNS hard and takes hits good .. but his throws have been inconstistant at best .. so tonight will be interesting .. WARRRRR EAGLE!!! GO AUBURN!!!

Shirl and Jen .. where are you girls???

Well I weighed in today at WW and not surprisingly was up 1/2 a pound. I know it's not much but cutting back on the sugar will get the scale moving in the right direction.

Dee Dee-sorry you are feeling under the weather. I'm big fan of drugs during TOM, thankfully I had a hysterectomy several years ago and no longer have to deal with that. Rest up and drink plenty of fluids. Sending healing vibes your way.

Angie-gum works for me too. I just need to remember to keep it on hand. I enjoy watching my kids play sports and it will keep Cody busy too. Feel free to come clean out some of my cupboards.

Wendy-You will love to watch Joey doing any activity he's interested in- I promise. Are you committed to the marathon with TIT?? Sounds like your legs need a break.

Laura-I hate all day meetings. Sorry you had to suffer through one of those today. It's so hard to eat good when you aren't in control of the food. As much as you workout it probably isn't an issue. Please record some of your classes and send them to us. It would be so fun to work out with you.

Laura: 7 hour meeting? Oh you poor poor thing! ((((hugs))))

Diana: I can't commit to the marathon with TNT yet. They don't begin recruiting for the summer program until Dec-Jan but I have every intention of committing when the time comes. The more I hear about TNT the more psyched I am about it. My dad died of non hodgkins lymphoma and that is one of the cancers they raise money for. I will do this in memory of him. I think TNT and thinking about my dad will help me push through the tough training as well as the race itself. :)
