Hey Girls!

I caught up with personals last night so this will be short n sweet!;)

I have some awesome DOMS in my booty from B&G. Yeah, I'll be making this face :eek: when I go to sit on the potty today! LOL My knee feels fine so I'll be heading outdoors for my run after work today. Wish me luck!

I'm taking DS to SIL/MIL's house again for the weekend. DH and I are supposed to go out for dinner and then we are heading to the bowling alley. CABS here I come!:)

YIKES, it's already time to get the little guy up...gotta jet. BBL though!
 
Good Friday morning ladies !

Got my Legs & Back done this AM. Think I am getting tired of pull ups - just not my fav thing, especially since my UB isn't strong enough to do many.:( But am still lovin' the legs with little or no weights !:D

Well Wendy - so glad to hear the knee is feeling better for you AND that you have another fun weekend planned.

We have a wedding in Monterey (should be beautiful except it is supposed to rain - mind you, only on Saturday!:mad:). Oldest DS, wife and my grandson will be staying here after the wedding. Also a 50th BDay evening the same night for our next door neighbors. That will be a busy day.

TGIF .. finally!

Morning Ladies ..

yes this is the third of the month it is crazy insane busy here!!

Wendy .. your knee sounds like a tendon strain to me .. if you calf is hurting and the BACK of your knee is hurting .. it sounds to me like it may be the tendon that attaches the calf to the bone/knee in the back ... take it easy if it starts to hurt .. nix the run.. b/c you could tear it .. and that means you are down for the count! I tore my quad tendon .. where it attached right under the knee cap .. it wasn't pretty .. and it put me out of commission for a full 6 weeks (actually longer b/c I was pig headed and tried to keep exercising against Dr. orders) .. a sports specific Dr finally convinced me if I did not lay off of it I would have permanent damge. So keep the ice on the back of the knee .. and pop the ibuprofen several times a day to help w/the imflammation! Dont be pighead like me if it is telling you to stop!!! We think we are superwomen but sometimes mother nature has other plans for us . lol!!! Hope it is a MINOR thing and will heal quickly!!! On a lighter note ... I am ready for some CABS too!!! :D

Jacque .. seems the days got shorter over night .. I didn't really realize it until I was trying to beat sundown to fit in my run!! LOL I have a wedding tommorrow too .. DURING my Auburn game :mad: .. how dare them!! LOL .. but they were nice enough to set up a huge bigscreen at the reception party so that we can watch the end of the game .. can you tell we are all obnoxious SEC football fans down here?? LOL

Ang - I am a lucky one .. I am not a hunting season widow ..LOL ... DH hunts on our land mostly and surrounded leased land ..so he leaves from the house and usually is back in 3 or 4 hours .. not bad!! Hey .. and LOL about the telephone problem .. I solved that problem .. I dont have a phone in my bedroom and shut the door so I cant hear it if it does ring .. b/c I have the same problem w/DH deer people calling .. GEESE .. dont they know us ladies like our beauty sleep!! :confused:

Shirl and Jen.. hope you are feeling better and have renewed energy today.. the X does take a lot out of us .. I for one am STARVING all the time w/the X .. SIL said she has gotten hungrier too .. maybe we need extra food for some extra muscle .. :) .. that is my story and I am sticking to it .. LOL!!

Dee Dee - how many classes a week do you teach ?? do you vary your classes or have set ones??

OK ..re: class .. I think I have run off everyone now .. class was minimal last night . :confused: .. just the die hards .. the gym was sparse too .. must have been the gorgeous weather .. oh and the guys chickened out .. :(.. they were not even in the gym ??? strange .. so the die hards talked me into doing a power walk .. I used to teach a power walk team (speed walking) . . they twisted my arm .. and I gave in .. so we did about a 3 1/2 mile power walk .. VBF says she is not talking to me anymore b/c her shins are killing her .. but it was refreshing .. the weather was gorgeous . . and the route we go has some beautiful houses .. lots of scenery .. so it was a nice change of pace .. thought the buttocks would be sore today.. b/c at the end we climb this HUGE long hill and I was really feeling the hamstrings and buttocks .. so not my usual kick arse w/o but a nice change of pace I must say!!:)

Today is my rest day.. well gonna take the dogs on a run .. but it will be a shorter run ... they missed their bath the other day .. so then I will be doing the dreaded doggie bathmax!! LOL

Ok girlies .. off to more paperwork .. have a great day .. and great sweaty workouts!!:D ... oh .. and WAAAAAAAAR EAGLE!!!!

wendy- so happy to hear your knee is feeling better and you are ready to get your run on!!

laura- i teach various different classes. i get bored easily so i switch things around alot. my favorite class is one called metabolic effect. www.metaboliceffect.com. 30 mins of the most intense workout ever. i never tire of teaching or taking that class. sounds like you do alot of different classes also.

jacque- great job on legs and back this morning!!

so today i woke up late and forego my rcr workout because my bells were calling out to me. i did AOS firepower-45 mins! i just love the bells!!!

Angie – I only did half but it is much more exhausting than one would think ! Oohhhhh, chili – definitely getting to be time for that. We are having our first rain this weekend but it is still supposed to be in the low 70’s. I did not make it to finish my Yoga last night – did a major workout of Clean Max – 5 hours worth ! Next time I will get to the “boats” to see what you’re talking about. Having some ab tightness still so am skipping AbX this week and hoping they will cooperate next week. I do use them quite a bit during the other workouts since I can feel the soreness so will just hope that is enough to keep them in shape !

Wendy – I agree that it sounds like tendon issues. Definitely anti inflammatories and for me, rest is all that will heal it. Not what you want to hear I know. Ice is good if it will go deep enough. LOL - B & G could be changed to "toilet torture" ! :eek: That one does the same to me every time too. Take it easy on the knee to day ! Hope it does right for you.

Nice of you to change up your class last night - LOL about scaring everyone off. Have a nice "rest day" with the dogs. I'll have BathMax on for mine this afternoon too ! After Clean Max I don't want her dirtying up the couches for a least a few days !

Dee Dee - you are giving me too much homework with your links ! LOL ! That sounds intense too (metaboliceffect). Still have to check out the website from the other day. Nice KB workout - guess the name says it all, huh?

Ok DeeDee .. you are an ENABLER!! I checked out the website .. VERY interesting .. it IS a lot like I teach .. a lot of the same moves and I follow kinda the same priciple .. most effecient intense workout possible in the shortest time frame ... although I am tempted to join the online site and check it out more in depth .. see that they love pushups and plyo work too :D .. hhhhhmmmmmmmm .. I might check it out tonight or tommorrow. Intresting approach to "hormonal" eating and exercising .. I am an information hound .. and love to read and learn all different approaches to fitness and exerise!! Thanks for the info!! Even if the credit card does take another hit .. lol!!:p
 
Hi peeps;)

I got up early today which was hard since I stayed up for the debate. I got dressed and ready to go and all of a sudden I just feel wiped out and my gut felt like it had a rock in it.:confused: I think it was the crock pot oatmeal I made. Anyways I got undressed and went back to bed.:( I felt a bit better after a couple more hours of sleep. I finally got downstairs and did L&B and Great Body Abs. I felt much better afterwards, but did feel a bit green while doing it. Since we have a party to go to tomorrow afternoon, I'm not sure if I will be doing KPC tomorrow or Sunday....I'll just play it by ear, but I'm soooo looking forward to working out with Cathe!:)

OK - Di's been gone for too darned long.....think I'm gonna go email her and make sure everything's OK.

Wendy - So sorry about the knee issues. The EXT has never hurt my knee either. It was only the running.:( I have to agree with Laura - don't push it. I know the timing stinks, but you don't want to HAVE to be off for 6 months.:eek::eek: Could you imagine how stir crazy you would be???
Have fun bowling tonight....are you still in last place?;) Have a CAB for me. I don't think I'd better dare try it with my guts rebelling against me right now. Maybe I'll feel better on Sunday and have a couple during the race again.

Shirl - Way to get that KB w/o in yesterday.:) We're you able to get a w/o in today?

Laura - The X most definitely makes me more hungry too, but I got on the scale for the first time in over a month and I'm back down to an acceptable level.:) So, even though I know I'm eating more, my body is using it for good ole' muscle....I can tell by looking in the mirror.
You are right....I need to remember to shut the phone off in my room. Although, I'll still be able to hear the other one, but it will be easier to try and snooze thru it.
Your power walk sounds fun. It's always good to switch it up and there really isn't shin work in the X, so that would be good to hit.
Enjoy the run with the doggies and bath max.

Jacque - No ARX for me today either, but I did a Tony Ab workout. Thankfully it is much shorter. I'm looking forward to no ARX next week. Ahhhhhh.....but then again I will have other ab torture to endure. Although, there is no way I will be doing YogaX twice, unless I do half on one day and the other half on the other day.
