The rotation calls for Power Hour today which I no longer have so I plan on subbing in Jari's Ripped and Chiseled. OUCH. LOL :p

UGH Monday :mad:

This morning I chose Keith Weber's Extreme Kettlebell workout. That one is so tough. I went heavier with my bell and it made it a total butt kicker.

Will take a lunch time walk...the weather is beautiful here today :cool:

Good morning ladies,

Yay for me!! finally felt good enough to do some weights even though i am still not totally there. I was happy with what i got done.

decided to go back to AB w/my buddy alwyn:p. The month i did that rotation I received my best results! so i am going to do 2 full body AB workouts and then one heavy lower, and shoulders and arms workout ea. week.

this morning i did day 1 (weeks 5-8) weight workout from AB and them followed up with 25 mins of interval on my bike. felt really good!!

wendy- have fun with R&C. that one kicks my butt!!

jen- i just absolutely love keith's workout. for sure an arse kicker:p

Drive by to report Power Hour is complete. I am not remembering that one at all - good workout to get in and get out.

Off to hit the shower and get my draggin' behind to work.

(P.S. Never got the CCPP done last night - am thinking I may sub out Step Blast tomorrow?)
 
Monday .. *triple UGH*

Had a great weekend girlies ... sorry for the no show on the posting .. I just was SUPER busy ... never slowed down much!! Sat. SIL and myself did rythmic step .. I wasn't impressed w/it .. some moves just seemed unnecessary... then we did ABS from the intensity series .. managed a decent sweat and burn in the abs for sure!! Then I went to my mother's to help her lay new tile .. then spent the afternoon cleaning - then watched our rival team win YET another game *ugh*.. yesterday MORE laundry duty and doggie bathmax .. and a good ride thru the woods .. then settled in for some scary movies .. :)

Today I woke up w/a horrible crick in my neck/shoulder/shoulder blade .. YOWZA .. I must have been sleeping really hard on that side .. I can barely turn my head ... :(

Today will be a run/walk outside at lunch .. it is cooler today .. and tonight supposed to get down to 38 .. BBBRRRRRR!!!! Tonight's class is going to be circuit class! :)

Wendy .. never though about mixing up the CC's challenges .. interesting .. there are some challenges I like more than others ... might give that a try next time!!

Di . . sorry about Jerod's game .. it does not feel good to loose .. but sounds like the other team w/REALLY good ... hard to beat good chemistry and teamwork!!

Jacque .. glad the Sharks won .. BOY how do I ever hope we win this weekend .. WE HAVE TO!!! :confused: I don't like loosing but what is worse our rival team is so good this year we look like CRAP next to them!! and boy are they ever in our faces about it .. :mad: ... My team is actually the Auburn Tigers ... Aubie the tiger is our mascott .. but our fight yell is WARRRR EAGLE .. Auburn is known for it's veterinary school's expertise .. and they have a bald eagle program .. there in lies the WAR EAGLE yell .. b-4 the game they have our Eagle fly around the entire stadium and land in center field .. it is really magnificent to watch!!! :D But we do say "Go TIGERS" too!! ;)

Ang .. I indulged in some CABS watching our rival team play Sat. too .. I never thought I would pull for TN .. but I was sure wanting them to stomp AL arse!!! they probably could have if the refs didn't make the bogus calls they did ... :mad: .. Hey .. how is little Maggie? Any new pics yet .. ??

Jen ... how is the leash training going???

OK ... THIS WEEKS CHALLENGE: (drum roll please) ... LIMITING your sugar intake (hiding under the desk until you take some deep breaths..lol) .. MOST of you say this is a weak spot .. and this will be hard this week due to the Halloween candy ... notice I said LIMIT .. I would not dare make you forego ALL the candy. I think each of us can make an extra effort to bypass that candy bowl .. especially the candy BARS .. and chocolate (I know be strong) .. if you have to partake in the sweets .. grab a hard candy ... or something LOW in calories!!! WE CAN DO THIS!!! :D

OK .. I have blabbered on long enough .. have a great one and I will be back later to see what everyone is up to ..
 
Aaaahhhh~~~Ripped and Chiseled is done. I also added on 60 bicycle crunches since I know Power Hour has ab work in it. ;) That is definately one painful little work out! YIKES! :eek: Me likey. :D

OK - back for a check in during lunch.

Wendy - I have heard so many like Jari but have never ventured to review a DVD. May have to see if I can find one to rent. Enjoy - seem like Jen was using Jari not too long ago? Nice job with the CC's yesterday. I am just too lazy to switch back and forth but someone on the OD board had a great way of setting them up on the iPod. I copied it into a word doc but haven't attempted it yet. I need to get the old arse kicking into more running again! My TM is just about a year old and last fall & winter I did so much better.

Jen - way to go with the KB workout and increasing the weight ! Hope you had a nice lunch time walk. I wish we were in a different area so a walk would be relaxing. We are in an industrial park with nothing but dirt, dust and asphalt. I'd rather catch up on my checkins !:eek:

Dee Dee - so glad you are nearly "normal" again!;) And back to the Afterburn, huh? Guess you've gone full circle since the Alwyn checkin started a while ago.:D Hope he does you justice again this time around.

Laura - very nice weekend you had ! Quite busy too ! Hate those cricks - especially when it is just your neck but you turn just the wrong way and it migrates all the way down your back. Makes it hard to drive too! You need to watch out for those deer ya know!:p

We've been having cooler nights but only down to mid 40's so far. Still 80' during the day but only til the end of the week, then we get rain for nearly the first time this year. Guess our summer really is over and fall is setting in. Hoping it doesn't rain for the kids on Fri nite though. It is due right around that time.:(

OK - not GO WAR EAGLES but GO TIGERS. So cool how the eagle flies the stadium. They are such majestic birds ! As for the challenge, I'm not much of a sugar person unless really stressed and I got that out of my system the end of last week!:eek: So I will be "attempting" to limit my chips, pretzels and beer. Those are basically my only frequent bad indulgences. Maybe some of the "fluff" will drop off then!:rolleyes:

BUT GIVE ME CHIPS or give me death :confused: JK ... my biggest downfalls: chips, CHEESE, and beer!!!!! I would not DARE make that our challenge though .. that is cruel and unusual punishment :eek:

I got home and hit CST and ARX. I had to hurry up and get it outta the way as soon as I got home b/c I had to pick up Cody from practice.

Wendy - You no longer have PH? Did you sell it??:eek: Glad you like Jari's workout....I'll have to give that one a try.

Jen - WTG on the bell workout. I've caved on the bells. Now, I just have to find out where to get the workouts and where to get the bells.....a shoppin' I will go.:)

DeeDee - Glad you are feeling back to normal. Is DH doing the Alwyn workouts with you too?

Jacque - Great job getting PH in early. CCPP is such a calorie burner for me. I've often wondered what would happen if I did that workout 3 times in one week.:eek: LOL! I guess I'll keep wondering b/c I have no plan to actually find out. *lol*
I so hope you don't have to deal with rain on Halloween.:( Do you stay home and pass out candy? When I think of Halloween in California, all I can think of is ET. *lol* It's usually pretty darned cold here during that time of year and I always thought it would be nice to have a nice warm night to take the kids trick or treating. But, it ain't gonna happen here this year either. We'll be lucky to NOT get snow.:confused:

Laura - Are you kidding me???:eek: Limit the sweets on the week of Halloween??? Grrrrrrrr - you are pure evil ya know that?? *lol* OK - I'll give it a shot but I'm not making any promises. At least it's not PMS time so that should help.
Scarey movies?? Uh, not me! I do NOT like to be scared. I'm such a wimp that way. There's no way I would watch movies like Saw....just seeing the trailers on TV is bad enough for me.
Mags is doin' great. Thanks for askin'. She is such a turd.:p But, we love he soooo much. We are noticing that she has a lot of the same mannerisms as Kirby had. I also wrote a letter on Friday to the people we got Snoopy from to tell them what happened. They occasionally run into my sister and ask her if she has seen Snoop. So, since it's not her place to tell them I felt I should let them know. It was really hard to write that letter.:(
I still have to figure my camera out....I'll post when I do though....I promise!

Jacque: I just skipped around to what I needed on my ipod during the actual work out but yeah, it's pretty easy to just make a new playlist with a "re-invented" cc work out on it whenever you feel the urge! :)

Ang: Yeah, I sold Power Hour during my last over haul of my fitness stuff. I liked it alright but really never used it TBH.
