Hi all,

Ttom finally came today and with a vengence. I guess I'm going to have to break down and take something for the cramps. I'm going to whine a little. With ttom coming late I have been a hormonal nightmare, no matter what I've eaten or taken. I had to go for my mammogram today, which had me in a tizzy because 2 years ago I had a horrible scare. Luckily, after an MRI, it turned out to be nothing, but with the hormones I turned that whole thing this time into a worrying mess. The only good thing is that I get my report when I leave, and everything was OK. Now I have nothing to worry about.

Sandra - It's F*ck a duck here! Your comment is more appropriate though. Well at least she remembered before she got to school.

TG - Sorry about the sadness, celebrate the good times.

Traci - Sorry about Sandi. I know this is a stupid question, but you have exhausted all types of food?

I'm off to walk. I am still physically miserable, but one dog got into the dog food bag and ate at least 4 inches out of a 40lb bag two nights ago. He needs to go run. He is a fat mess.

Later and thanks for listening to my whining.

Tracy

TRACY:
HUGE hugs! I knew you were staying away cuz somethin' going on! I'd be a mess too after the hormonal surge and precious test scares...I think you are perfectly normal!!! I am sending a sigh of relief although I know it must always weigh on your mind.
ROF about Fido! They are so smart!!!
Sandys on script food that is about as bland as you can get (& EXPENSIVE!) ... Dr said last time that if the vomiting started again after being off meds it means intestinal growth in all probability... We are not willing to walk that path with her being older and having the hip/joint issues... I will try just broth tonight & see... Last go round the broth just made the throwup a liquid mess tho.... Oh woe is me!
XXOOXXOO Thank heavens the hormones will level out in a day or 2... Stay connected with us- it does help.... you NEVER have to post personals in crisis time... just vent & type!:* FYI F* a duck used to be my FAVORITE saying!}(

Please don't blame me for the disintegration in vocabulary around here. I was only being polite...you all took it to the docks!

Tracy.....Oh my, I feel for you. You've been through a lot of stress. I'm doing the happy dance that all turned out well!!! YAY!!!! And THANK HEAVENS TTOM showed up!! Is it possible that your stress levels delayed it for a bit?

Traci....I didn't realize you were born with a such a blue tongue. Tsk, tsk ;)

Cheers,
Sandra

Hey girls,

I was just reading my brand new Clean Eating magazine and they have a book in there called "The Thrive Diet". It looks very interesting and I thought you all would enjoy looking at it on Amazon. I think I'm going to get. Should be a good read come January:p

Tracy, Vent to us anytime! I hope the weekend comes fast and Monday comes slow:*

Sandra, Didn't know you were such a conversation starter did you?:)

See ya,

Nicole

Bring it!!!

Hi Nicole!

I missed your earlier post. I think I've heard of that Thrive Diet book. I think it's advertised in Oxygen. Be sure to let us know how you like it. Is the magazine any good? Should I pick it up if I notice it on the store stands? I don't know why they called it "Recovery" Week. That definitely seems like a misnomer. Good work getting Core Syn done!! It doesn't seem fair that people doing the Lean Rotation have to do Core Syn during their recovery week, too. You never get a real break from it, do you?

Cheers,
Sandra

Good gracious...You guys have been chatty today!! I can tell that Sandra likes her new Mac...she can get online easier!! Okay...as many of you may have guessed I opted for the nap this morning...And do you know, I slept for 2 hours!! I must have needed it! Anyway, I felt like the energizer bunny after that...got my grocery shopping done, dusted, vacuumed, mopped, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned DD's bathroom, actually cooked dinner(chicken, fresh corn, baked sweet potatoes), and exercised! I still have 2 Christmas cards staring at me...hopefully I will do them tomorrow. I will only have to do the downstairs bathrooms tomorrow. WooHoo! I did the warm up and the first 2 combos of RS...then I did SH shoulders. Feeling good! I still have DOMS in my legs from Sunday...and a few in my chest and back from yesterday. My chest is not as sore as I expected, but I guess that is a good thing.

It seems that the conversations took a turn to the vulgar today...I thought I was the one who seemed to start those conversations...I do have to say that "Lord Love a Duck" gave me a huge chuckle even before I read the lower posts! You guys are cracking me up that you have never heard "ralph" before...We used to say that all the time in college...probably as we were ralphing into a toilet from drinking too much. Okay...onto some personals...

Laurie...
Poor dear! So sorry you have been feeling under the weather. Hope you got caught up at work today. I am sure your appetite will return soon. Ah, I see in your later post you are definitely feeling better. At least there is a positive from being sick...that lovely skinny feeling...LOL!

Teddygirl...
I guess if you eat while fooling around with Ted you can at least work the calories off quickly! The holidays can certainly be tough when you are missing important family members. Keep up with the exercise and it will all equal out in the end.

Jeanette...
Sorry you are fighting off a bug. Hope you don't really catch it and you can just wash it away with the water. Yes...using the bathroom for number 2 we have apparently been avoiding doing in the same house as the other one...LOL! I can pee in front of anyone...side of the road, golf course, whatever...but number 2 is a much more personal thing for me...LOL! Hope they caught your loose man.

Sandra...
I received my Cathe calendar yesterday...and I haven't even looked at it yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get it before New Year's. I can tell by the "duck" comment that you spend a lot of time around children...what a nice way to put it...LOL! "Curl" is a 20 minute ab workout...and a pretty good one. Different from Cathe's CM which is why I like it. Lots of oblique work. What is a "Canadian curling video"? I have cousins that I don't even know there names or where they live. I do just a few family cards...friends take up most of my card list. LOL about the childhood friend...She seems to be hanging on, doesn't she? Break down and send her an email for God's sake! I really feel Kenpo in my core too...especially when I really concentrate during it. How are those all over DOMS doing this evening, my dear? I am truly proud of you for actually going to the post office today. *patting you on the head* LOL about dropping the big F in front of the kids...I guess that means I move up a notch in the best mom contest. Although, it seems I have taught my DD to yell at cars that are going to slow in front of me. She says, "Come on people!" from the backseat.

Traci...
Dear soul, it does not make you pathetic that you like to talk to us!! I feel the same way! I told my BFF that you guys were coming for a visit and she thought it was really cool. We were also laughing since of course most of you guys made mention that you talked to your husbands about the trip...and I said, "I don't have to get permission to do anything now!" Poor Sandy...I hope this is just a passing thing...Did the doc think another round of antibiotics could help? I am sure you hair looks like one of those girls in the Pantene commercials now. LOL about Teddygirl and 9 and 1/2 Weeks!! Gosh, it's been a while since I thought about that movie! WooHoo...Kenpo complete!! When I get my thoughts together, I would like to get some help from you in designing a lean rotation once I am done with my SH rotation....so keep that in the back of your mind, please.

Nicole....
So sorry all of your babes are sickly. I bet there are germs just multiplying in your house right now...gives me the shivers...LOL! How many more weeks until that GB house is done?? It seems like you started on it a month ago...LOL! I am thinking either a nice ski lodge with CB...although I don't know how to ski...or maybe a trip to the ocean..It is really empty at the shore this time of year...and although it is cool, you can still walk on the beach. Last year I got the best shells in my entire life on my birthday weekend. It was great. We'll see. If I could find a beach house with a fireplace, it would be perfect! Congrats for getting CS done today. April isn't as far away as you think...it will be here before you know it!

Tracy....
Sorry ttom hit with a vengeance! You must be feeling puny if you are just taking a walk today. Darn dogs...Polly will eat ANYTHING! If she gets loose she runs over to the neighbor's house so that she can crawl under the garage door and eat their dog's food. You can always whine to us...That's what we are here for!

Okay...think I am caught up for now...Hope everyone has a great night. I am looking forward to seeing CB tomorrow night...We have a coupon for a dinner for 2 at a really great steak place...so we are headed there after he gets off work. I also have my yoga class in the morning....a good stretch is just what I need. I may go sofa shopping after that. A sofa store is going out of business and I really want a new couch for the family room....so I am going to check them out to see if they have any deals. My mom is picking up DD from school tomorrow and keeping her for the night...so all is good!

Hi,
I had a busy day at work, as usual, but a good one. I didn't feel real great after I got there, but gradually started feeling better. However, I wasn't even tempted to go out there and do a walk. We had drizzly weather this afternoon. No snow still, but now they are saying snow to the valley floor on Thursday. Doesn't matter to me, but I sure don't want the snow interfering with my sissie coming to visit on Tuesday. My stomach is a mite grumbly right now, kind of like a lower bug could be happening, plus I have no appetite so that means all is not well. I have a build your own burrito party tomorrow at work for a departing co-worker and I have to go cuz I'm bringing the grated cheese for it. If I'm not well, I may be driving in, flinging the bagged cheese thru the door and leaving. We'll see.

Oh yeah, we started to watch "The Island" last night. It was a Netflix DVD. Again, lots of freezing, cleaned the drive, DVD and still no go. I was sick of it so got online and cancelled Netflix. It's probably my DVD player going out. Also, my DVD drive on my computer wouldn't open for me to try the DVD in there. I think a new DVD player and new computer are in the near future. I guess I'll have to rent "When Sally Met Harry" at Blockbuster in town.

Sandra, I just want to scream when I get last minute instructions like you got re: the rehearsal! I'm a procrastinator big time, but I always can pull it off with a little time to spare. Getting something dropped on me to where I can barely accomplish is a real challenge. Glad you made it thru PlyoX and with a good attitude it sounds like. I got my Cathe calendar last week. It's laying in a pile with my P90X book on the floor next to the computer. I would love to take it to work and put it in my office but someone would probably be "offended" by the scantily clad women in it. We have to be so PC any more. Yep, I think you should email your friend. What a patient soul she is.
I haven't heard about the other escapees, though I didn't watch the news today. As for our wandering camper, he hasn't been found either. They think he's hiding in a barn or outbuilding, has no coat so may be begging to be caught soon. The ankle bracelet is a good idea, but probably too sensible for the State prison system. Looking forward to getting the Christi tape. Thank you :7. Did you like it or was it not your cup of tea? I've like everything of Christi's so far. She is a talented cuer for sure.

Traci, is the hair all shiny now? So sorry about Sandy's stomach not behaving. Will send good vibes and prayers her way. I'm hoping that Laurie didn't give me her bug. Icky feeling happening as we speak. Glad KenpoX is done for you. I have that one tomorrow. Not sure what I will do, depends on how I feel in the a.m.

Nicole, I feel for you with the sick little ones. Many people are getting the cold and stomach thing right now at work. I was hoping to get thru this and not contract anything. You haven't mentioned your back lately. Must be feeling better? Your meez made me laugh out loud! Glad you got CS in, but then again, you hardly ever miss a workout. It should have been CS for me, but I had a brain fart. Would love to have the low to mid-60's here. I'd be taking time off to golf and bike for sure. You and I have the same idea of a romatic weekend for Debra with the lodge, skiing, fireplace, wine. I want to be Debra! So what are you going to improve on with your GB making? What's the Thrive Diet about? Never heard of it.

Latrese, I think you are right to just kind of go with the eating thing until the new year. I got invited to another party on Friday, but don't think I'll go to that one. Have to bring an appetizer. Too much! I'm saving up pretty much for Christmas Day, but just remembered we have another GTG on Sunday afternoon too. Just keep working out, you'll be fine. (((((((Hugs))))))) to you, our Mom's are so special. I'm fortunate to have mine around and am appreciating her more and more as the years go by.

Laurie, hoping you are feeling better. See, your little stomach ailment really turned out to be handy in keeping you from eating all those goodies. Hope the fellas down them before you get the appetite back. I tell DH that he can hide his own Easter eggs. He just can't remember where he put them. Actually, I got locked out of my office today. I left the door open and went up to the administration bldg. My boss walked in, left a file on my desk and then closed the door when he left. It locked and I had my keys in my desk. We had to get him to open them. Later on, I mentioned it to DH's boss and it got back to DH. DH gave me a teasing when I got home. We are both ready for the old folks home I guess.

Tracy, so sorry about the cramps today. I used to have them pretty bad when I was a teenager. Now I barely have to take an aspirin for them so guess I'm fortunate. So good to hear that the mammogram was good. I went thru something like that about 5 years ago. I got mad at DH this morning for feeding little Tillie his leftover sandwiches. She's getting too tubbie.

Debra, you were busy, busy today! I've been putting out so much energy at work that all I want to do when I get home is eat, hit the couch and relax. No apprehension of the escapee yet, but they are hopeful to get him. They are thinking he's still laying low and didn't get picked up by an accomplice as he didn't know where he was. I'm voting for the ski lodge romantic weekend with your CB. Is he a skier? Either way, beach or mtn. lodge, something with a fireplace will be great. Bring some room spray for the bathroom and hope it's not like the Dumb & Dumber scene in the bathroom.

Got to go to bed shortly. Hoping to wake up raring to go.

Jeanette
