WWers Last Wk of May/First wk of June

Holy Moly... no way i would be able to eat just protein for a week! Way to go Stacy for all that will power! I have serious problems going to the loo so that would just about kill me:eek:

You are completely right about the physio part. You really have to hit the right one because some of them are a little cooky. Do you have a Costco memebership? I ask because the costco near me in Canada (which always has less then you USA gals) Had custom orthotics by Dr.Scholls. You made the imprint of your foot and everything! I would totally try those (i can't because I have one leg a little shorter than the other and they have to add a little heel lift in mine) they were less that 100$ in canada so they must be cheaper down there in the us.

Diane is the miches tier from p90x?

Last night I had serious munchies...ate about 20 almonds and an empty hot dog bun...i am patting myself on the back for my chocolate resistance!:D

check in later

Stacy, you summed up phase one and two pretty well.

I did loose 6 pounds the first week. I gained a few back while we were traveling, but road trips always do that to me. I think it starts with the inactivity of being in the car for 9 hours one way and the lack of fluids. But, those are coming off nicely this week.

I did some research on Dr. Oz's website first and a co-worker talked to his doctor about it and shared it with us at work. We have five folks at my job doing it. The consenses here is that phase one is not long enough to do any damage to your health. (of course, we all had to decide individually exactly how long that phase would be since we all have different health concerns.) Then the next phase, you add in veggies every other day. So, more healthy foods get added back in later.

You definitely have to do the 1 1/2 Tblspoon of Oat bran a day. No more. But this week I'm adding in two servings of benefiber as well - one at lunch and one at dinner to help move things along.

I did do this plan with WWers for three days last week to see exactly where I was calorie, fiber, carb and fat wise. On the days I was low on calories, I added an extra Fat free yogurt. But, my PPs were averaging 32-37. So, it fell in line with WWers really well. The key is using lean protein and drinking lots of water. Lean protein can be expensive though.

There are so many ways a person can adjust this diet to fit their needs and comfort levels and still see good results. But, I'm loving it. I've made a few adjustments like adding the benefiber and I do more than walk 20 minutes a day - that part was a joke to me. I think the author just wants to make sure you do some form of exercise regularly.

On phase three and four, you have to be very careful as you add back in everything else or the weight will creep back. But, that's like any other diet, if you ask me.

Well, hth. Smoochies.

Good Morning.

Today's work out was KCM Split Sessions Lower Body work out and KCM TLC Athletic Conditioning work out. Got myself lower body, cardio and even some upper body + abs this morning all in 60 minutes! Great work outs! Great combo! Love KCM (except for her stepping style anyway)! :D

Diana:: Good job with Mitch's Ladder!:D

Steph:: Awesome job avoiding the chocolate!:D

Stacy:: I couldn't do the Dukan diet. Like Diana, it's waaay too restrictive for me. Kudos to you if you are able! Good luck with it! :)

Shereta:: Great job with Dukan so far! If you've gotten through phase 1 which is probably the hardest then you can do this! Keep it up! :D

Diet is so far so good, did have a carb urge and had some pretzels at lunch. This morning I did Jillian's Ripped in 30 workout again. With work being so busy I'm focusing more on Jilliian and KCM's 30 Min to Fitness Series. I just got Split Sessions in the mail today, along with Michelle Dozios' Interval workout. On weekends, I'm planning on a doing a longer Jillian workout and some Bootcamp and Ilaria's Atletica workout, with being short on time lately I like the Bootcamp/Circuit approach right now.

I'm going to loosely follow Dukan, which when I'm doing my cleanest diet, is pretty close to its principles anyways. I have IBS (the non-constipated version sorry if TMI) and this way of eating actually works well for me from that perspective. If I decided to do the Attack Phase I'd only do it for 3 days which I might do next week b/c my hubby will be out of town for 3 days.

B--turkey sausage links and almonds
S--pretzels, water
L--ff cottage cheese, red pepper slices and deli roast beef
D--grilled pork chops, grilled green beans and grilled tomato slices

I was already down 1.6 lbs this morning from yesterday with water loss, but I'm still about 3 lbs from my lowest since starting WW. I'm feeling good though and back in the game!

THAT'S MY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO STACY, GO STACY - ITS YO BIRTHDAY, ITS YO BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! You're definitely off to a great start with a great attitude.

Stacy: Great job on the water weight...you definately seem to be in better spirits:D Today is my crappy eating day... Still haven't touched the chocolate or sweets though...post cereal is my vice today:eek: I have been resisting it for a long time (the one with dried cherries) but my evil hubs left the bag right out in the open:(

Shereta is in the house!!!!! Yeah:D

Wendy: kicked Imax 3 today as well as 2 sts abs circuits...felt so proud of myself...

Diane: where are you:confused:

still have been keeping up with the tracking on Sparkspeople...pretty easy to use and i like how it tells you the breakdown..today will definately be a Carbohydrate day....

Good Morning Ladies.

No work out for me this morning due to a flare up of the osteoarthritis in my neck. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!:(:(:(

On a happy note though, this morning was my official WW weigh in and I am down a bit this week! Only .2 from goal now!!!!:D

That's all for now. I'll come back a bit later to catch up on personals, etc.

Friday is a free eating day for more, but I did indulge a bit too much at a work picnic. I'm going to just refocus tomorrow and not let it get me down.

I got my two new dvds in the mail and previewed them both....they both look great!! The Dozios one has parts I'll definitely have to modify for my knees but it looks great! KCM's Split Sessions looks very thorough as well! Cant wait to try them!

Good morning girls

I am so psyched..yesterday I was able to do cathes CCC! no back problems at all:D

Good thing i was able to do it in the AM befroe spending the day at the hospital with my son...relieves some stress and makes eveything easier.

On a food not..i was such a good girl...went to mcdonald and only ate the new grilled chicken spicy thai chicken...double thumbs up on that one! with the balsamic dressing (only .5 that pack) and definately totally tasty!

Feeling a little bloaty today and i am still debating wether or not to step on the scale... havent in 3 days due to same bloaty feeling....hope i don't have a heart attack or anything!

Stacy: you are so good with the cheat day.. i would never be able to handle that and would lose total control :D

Wendy: sorry about your neck:(

Shereta: hope your Dukin it out;)

Hey Ladies.

Sorry I never came back y'day. I was having trouble concentrating on ANYTHING y'day because I was soooo uncomfortable. TG I am feeling better today! It's not 100% but definitely a big improvement! If the improvement continues I will consider some cardio a bit later on it the day. Unfortunately though STS is still a no go until I am totally better. This bums me out but better to be safe then sorry!

So I allowed my DH to lure me over to the dark side last night. ;) We ordered pizza for dinner! I followed it up with a 2 point WW icecream bar dessert but NO WINE. The meal with dessert was a whopping 15 points on WW! Put me 7 over my DP limit for the day but I can wipe that out with a couple of good work outs so I'm not too worried PLUS the scale was holding steady this morning despite the indulgence. Makes me happy! :)

Steph:: Did I miss something?? Is your son ok? Good job with CCC. I have a Love to Hate it relationship with that work out! LOL

Stacy:: I did KCM Split Sessions Lower Body work out this past week for the first time and really enjoyed it! Can't wait for an opportunity to try out the upper body! Perhaps during my next recovery from STS. ;)

TTFN!

We get pizza every Friday and watch an old retro TV show or an old movie, it's out date night and I eat guilt-free.

I think Atletica will be the workout of the day!

Stacy:mmm now you have me curious what is Athletica???? the only one i know of is expensice work out clothes....

Wendy: My son has Duchennes muscular dystrophy and we had a clinic day at the hospital yesterday...5 hour affair...fun..fun:eek:
As for ccc...I also have a love hate but i just feel so strong when i finish andit just seems to fly by so fast for some reason..

Still haven't decided what to do today...feeling like a HIIT and maybe i'll start the sts 1RM...do you gals think that if i do a lot of them it could count as a weight day??? or do chest and back again....that one makes me feel powerful.. I have to admit since i started the imax 3 and imax extreme i don't seem to like the intensity as much..
