WW Points plan + exercise points?

Cathlete
Does anyone know about how many points you get for exercising on the points plan?
I signed up for the plan last year but never went to the meetings so I never got info on this.

Thanks!

Hi...I just got myself into WW and the exercise points are:

After the first 20 minutes of exercise, it's one point for each additional 20 minutes. I will probably score 2 points a day for my bank - doesn't seem like much, but the folks who put this formula together don't know people like us!!!

Hope this helps.

Another question...

Hi Donna,
2 more questions for you:
So do you only get one point for 40 minutes of exercise??

Do you know if the exercise can be weights too? Or is it just cardio?

Thanks!!!!

RE: Another question...

You may want to check the WW web site. I follow WW and use my activity points. I have a hard time eating 18 points and doing a Cathe workout!

I have software downloaded on my Palm for journaling WW program ,and it has a method for calculating AP. It categorizes workouts into light, moderate, or intense. It uses your current weight, and the number of minutes you exercise. A typical Cathe workout is usually 45-60" of high intensity. At my wieght that can add up to 4 to 6 points. Let me add that if I have a high point day, I don't add in all my activity points. If I have a low point day, I add in all my AP. PS I condider a treadmill steady state workout of moderate intensity.

RE: Another question...

Thanks for the additional input. I am new to this program and just starting to figure it all out. I just didn't see how 60 minutes of "Cathe" workout time could only be worth 2 points!

Thanks for the clarification.
