Would this be freestyle?

I'm trying to set up a routine for next month. I'm wanting to give freestyle a try but I can't go all out with long leg workouts. I'm an intermediate exerciser..so I'm wondering if this is enough to get any of the benefits of freestyle:

Monday-Yoga and Cardio
Tuesday-Cardio and Leg/Squat Sequence (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/gideons10.htm)
Wednesday-Cardio and Pilates
Thursday-Cardio and Lunges/Squats
Friday-Full Body Isometric/Body-weight only workout
Saturday-Rest
Sunday-Full Body Workout

Any input?

I am no expert on freestyle but can you squeeze in some lunges on the days that you are doing just cardio and yoga or pilates? Walking lunges are very effective and don't take lots of time to bang 'em out. Throw in 100+ if you can on those days!

If you want advice from a "pro", post to Carole! She's amazing! :)

HTH!:)

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea :) ..I think I will add those in, at least on the yoga day which I'm most concerned about being too light..

>Carole, Carole, Carole, Goddess of Freestyle, where are you?
>Your deciples need you!!!!

You're quite welcome! Enjoy! :)

Wendy and Kate...you two are cracking me up!!! Yes though anytime you can add lunges would be good!!!

Kathleen...I might need a bit more info as I am not familiar with the workouts you listed, but...Freestyle is basically working the legs 4-6 days a week with light weights. Doing Various squats, lunges, calf raises, inner and outer leg raises etc. And 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps of 4-6 leg exercises in the days you do Freestyle. So, if the workouts you do are something like what I listed, then it would be considered Freestyle and you would get the benefits!!...HTH...:)...Carole

Carole,

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it alot. :) Based on what you wrote, I think I've got the concept..I'll try that for starters and keep toying around with it.

Thanks again,

Kathleen
