You all have my interest in the i train series. I have cardio coach #5 now and love it. I'm training now for a 10k in june and could use a little push. What level is the itrain for running?
ANy info would be great! thanks!

Hi.

You can use ITrain no matter what your level. They have 20, 40 and 60 minute work outs. They use the #s on the treadmill to guide you through your work out where Cardio Coach uses heart rate. If the pace she gives you does not fit you, create your own. That's what I did. I am new to running and used a 40 mins work out and LOVED it! This work out motivated me to push harder and I ended up running 1-1.5 miles farther than my previous longest! It's a very motivating w/o being annoying. I liked the music on the one that I have and found the trainer to be very pleasant and easy to listen to.

I'm not a good reviewer and hardly a seasoned runner but I hope that I helped a little bit.:)

Thanks Wendy! That was a great quick reponse. I think i'll go ahead and purchase this one, sounds like just what i needed. Is this one divided into sections(eg sprints, rest, hill climbs or anything similar?) TIA,
Wendy

The particular one that I have for running is mostly a flat endurance run with a couple very small inclines, varying speeds, a few sprints and there is a rest mid-way through.

The one drawback to ITrain as opposed to CC is that CC clearly defines each work out for you so that you know exactly what to expect before you purchase it where ITrain does not. ITrain only gives you VERY short clips and they don't tell you much. Then again, ITrain is alot cheaper so I guess it all evens out right? :)
